Meanwhile
Rain was having a horrible day. Her "boyfriend" or so she thought kicked her out of her apartment, when it was her who paid the bills and had the job. All he ever wanted was money, sex, and more money, and more sex. When she didn't give him either he kicked her out. Jackass.
Luckily she'd seen an apartment as she was leaving the little town. $200.. not bad, she guessed. She parked across the street and walked over to find the door slightly ajar. She heard voices, but then again she wasn't a normal human.
"Hello..? Anybody home..?"
Wait. That smell. Blood.
She slowly opened the door not to make noise and followed the trail, and where it stopped was in a room, a painting room (YAY!) she thought.. and there was a cat demon on the bed, being treated to. They didn't notice her yet, probably the smell of blood clogging their senses. Ah, well, they'd notice her eventually. Why not now?
"Anyone need help in here? There sure is a lot of blood.. I have a car.. I know the way to the nearest hospital. I was going to be a doctor but drawing and painting had caught my interests... Oops.. i think I'm rambling again.. I have to stop doing that.. Grr.."

((sorry I hate to seem like a spoil sport but when there is a mind reader characters really can't have any secrets. I like being able to pull a few things out of my hat once in a while to add a little flavor to things. If any old thing can be pulled out of the characters head kinda doesn't work))

Santo whipped around to the new voice. Maybe she was a tenant he had not yet met. He replied to her as he gently scooped Kitty in his arms saying, "Yes we need to go to the hospital right away miss. If you could drive that would be wonderful." Thank goodness this girl had shown up.

Kitty shuddered, "car hospital please.

"Do you think you could carry her to the car? Im kind of weak.. hehe.. I'll bring the car over to this side of the street so it would be easier."
Rain blew out a sigh of relief. At least they didn't attack her.

Kitty nodded, she clung to santo. She was whispering appologies for ruining his nice clothes.


((sorry for all that it has changed it is just that we all got to be more careful of upsetting others, and some rpers are more accepting some less. It all depends.

Rain pulled to a stop next to the front door, and motioned for the boy with the cat demon to get in the car.
"Sorry about the luggage in the back.. it was sort of an unexpected move."

(( *sigh* @#$% feel like a jerk now. I don't want to ruin things for people so I'll leave if it's gonna be an issue or mean that someone isn't going to have fun RPing. Sure I didn't RP like ten years ago but I want everybody to have fun.))

Santo carried Kitty out to the girls car. He asked her, "Hey could you open the door for me please. Don't want to set her down."

"I guess i should do that huh? I'm not thinking straight today."
Rain moved the luggage into the trunk, and opened the door. When they were inside comfortably, she got back into the driver's seat and started toward the hospital.

"put inside if you want to move in please, it ok." She struggled to say.

(( hey Rain listen I'm sorry. I think I just read your post and took it the wrong way. I've been sick and got some crappy news today and I think I'm letting my emotions bleed into here. Sorry for being a jerk))

Santo was very careful getting in the car and held onto Kitty gently and firmly at the same time. He wanted to make sure she didn't bump around too much. As they drove to the hospital he smiled down at Kitty saying while he gently brushed her hair with his fingers, "It's okay Kitty. Santo is right here and isn't going anywhere till your safe okay."

Kitty put a bloody hand to his face, "tatsu, no santo, right? I hope i don't join Tatsu now."

The way to the hospital was pretty quick, and Rain was going a few miles over the speed limit. She didn't want to turn on the radio, and she really didn't want to just ignore them.
"Santo's your name, is it? Mine's Rain. Yes, birth name. And she must be Kitty.. or is that her nickname?"

"but it hurts." She listened to the knew voice, "Kitty-jean Luise Tastu." She said her whole name with a rhythem

"Yes, I wish we were in different circumstances as well. As for my full name, it is Rain Kohana White.. Kohana is a rough translation of 'flower' in Japanese.. Ah, we're pretty close now. Almost there..."
Just as Rain was feeling good about the quickness of the trip, the light turned red.
"Fuck it all! I'm going through. Hold on tight."
The orange car sped through the light as Rain pushed her foot harder, missing other honking cars by inches.
"Sorry about that, but that is the SLOWEST light ever in history. I doubted you wanted to wait ten extra minutes in a case like this."

Kitty mewled alot and and hissed a few times.

Santo listened but kept most of his attention on Kitty. He said softly still lightly brushing her hair, "I know it hurt's but soon it will feel better I promise." He wanted to keep speaking so she would know she wasn't alone. He said to Rain, "Are we almost there? She isn't doing so great."

"hot!" She said her body felt so hot she was already naked, she couldn't cool down there must have been a germ.

Rain swore again and pushed the pedal a little faster.
"We'll be there in a minute or so. Keep talking to her, keep her distracted, we're going to hit a lot more bumps if we're going to get her there in time."
Punctuating her words, Rain drove over a drive-thru to McDonald's, and they were just across the street. Swallowing, she drove over the grass and drifted to a stop at the ER entrance, and she unlocked the doors.
"GO!"
