[[Ah... Okay.]]
Rain looked up at Santo. "So, what do you want to do? I'm pretty bored myself." |
"I am bored as well. Do you have any ideas?" he asked wondering where everyone else was.
"Nope. Not anything that doesn't require going outside. Well there is my piano but I don't want to be a show-off." Rain gave a mental sigh. "I never have good ideas."
"What about a movie? I don't have any but if you do that might be fun. We could make some popcorn too," he said thinking that might be nice. He hadn't seen a flick in a while.
A movie? "Sure! I have a couple upstairs. I'm sure that they're all horror though. I love scaring myself. There's The Orphan, Friday the 13th, and a couple other ones." She wasn't sure if he liked horror or not, and she hoped he didn't ask about her scaring herself.
"Okay Friday the 13th sounds good. I'll get snack ready if you want to set up the movie," he said to her.
He went to his apartment and grabbed some sodas, popcorn and chocolate cookies. He hoped this would be good enough fare for the little movie party. |
[[Sorry bout the wait. I'm about to go to sleep and I'm writing to my sister in jail. Who's room is the movie playing in?]]
Rain dashed upstairs and grabbed the movie, looking around for her slippers, the ones with the cute pandas on them. Where the hell did they go? |
((Her room most likely))
Kitty sat up again it had shown up, She huggled the Stuffed animal that Hal was letting her borrow, 'I hope everyone's gone to sleep by now. It's almost midnight.' She turned on her little lamp and grabbed her book, "City of bones" by Cassandra Clarke. It was good so far and if she read it for a while she would fall asleep again.
Cove opened the door, walking back into the building. Sighing, he walked up the stairs making his way to his room. The letter crumpled into a ball in his fist. Sitting outside did nothing for him. Depression was clear on his face. When he got to his floor he opened the door to his apartment, walking in. Kicking off his shoes, he closed his door behind him throwing the letter onto his coffee table. Walking into his bedroom, he changed into an old v-neck shirt and plaid fleece PJs. Leaving his bedroom he plopped down onto his couch, burying his face in one of the couch pillows. SIIIIIIIIIGH.
[[Kay. Fine with me. :3]]
Rain gave up with a shrug and turned to her TV and VCR, setting them up as she hadn't yet. She gave a long sigh and pushed her hair out of her face and made sure everything worked. |
Santo made his way to Rain's room and knocked on the door with his elbow since his arms were full. "Hey Rain I brought the treats," he said through the door just in case she had not heard the knock.
Rain went over to the door and let him inside, and then closed the door once he had gotten through. "Everything's set up here." She eyed the treats he'd brung and grabbed a cookie. She made space on the table for the treats and quickly organized her room. She then plopped onto her bed and grabbed the remote, putting in the stupid Parental Lock Code for the VCR and stretched as the previews rolled. "Sit wherever you'd like. There's a couple chairs and you could sit on the bed if you want."
Santo placed the things orderly on top of the table. Once things were set down he nabbed a chair so he could lounge back. The chair was comfy and he was glad to be watching a flick. He said, "We should have invited the others but I think they are asleep."
"Yeah, we should have, huh? I guess I wasn't thinking at the time." Rain slapped herself mentally for forgetting the others.
Santo let out a light laugh and said, "Don't beat yourself up Rain. I didn't think of it till now either. One of these nights thought it would be fun to have a big movie night with everyone." He liked the apartments and everyone who lived there.
Rain smirked, imagining what that would be like. "Yeah.." Just then the movie screen showed up. She reached for the remote but didn't quite get there. "Mind pressing play?" She smirked.
((smirk-To smile in an affected, often offensively self-satisfied manner. O.o? ))
Santo said, "Don't mind at all." He pressed play and grabbed a soda and some popcorn. "So you like horror movies then? You like any others?" he asked her. |
[[Meant to say smiled. XD I'm doing my homework and filling out these papers for friggin soccer. :X]]
"Yeah, I pretty much will watch anything. The Orphan was a good one. Scared the crap out of me. If you haven't noticed, I LOVE scaring myself. Final Destination 4: 3D was good. Especially when the girl's head flew off." Rain looked at Santo, hoping she didn't disgust him in any way. She didn't know anyone else with a weird fetish of scaring themselves. |
((lol, okay, I was wondering why Rain would be rude. How has soccer been going or are you finished for right now?))
"I don't mind a good scary movie myself though I really enjoy psychological thrillers. I watch a lot of black and white films too. Of course action movies are good too," he said with a laugh. He really did enjoy most films. |
[[Conditioning for the school has started. I just had my physical so I'm good. I just have to turn this form in.]]
Rain laughed with him. She loved movies. "It's starting!" She whispered, and turned her attention to the movie. She hoped it didn't come off rude. |
Santo just smiled and watched the film. He liked snacking and made sure to grab some cookies. He had seen this one before but it was a good one. He didn't want to mention why he didn't want to watch the Orphan. It was a silly reason but he did not like the title. He had a good friend who was an orphan and he didn't like how that was turned into something bad.
Rain looked over and saw Santo smiling. She reached over and grabbed some popcorn and a soda. She kept her eyes on the movie, and laughed when she shuddered.
Cove rolled onto his side, wiping the wetness from his eyes. "I'm only upset because its my parents. Birth parents." He sighed pushing himself off of his couch, he slipped his feet into his fuzzy black slippers. Cove grabbed his hoodie and slipped it on, and walked out of his apartement. He didn't want to be alone right now. So, he figured he'd see if anybody was up. Walking down the hallway, listening as he went.
Cove walked down the steps, "They're all probably sleeping.." He sighed rubbing his fingers at his temples. Sitting on some random spot on the steps, he held his hands in his heads. "Is anybody still up?" He said somewhat loud, letting his voice echo through the steps. |
Rain thought she heard something so she went over to the door. "I'll be back," she said to Santo, and went out the door, not closing it all the way. "Hello?"
