"Chase, you wasted your ice cream." She said poutingly. She licked hers slowly.

Simon sighed and jamed his hands into his pocket. He rocked back on his heels to make it look like he was thinking but he had already made up his mind. "I dont know, I mean she does mean a lot to me and I dont want her to get hurt. But joining a gang.. that sounds to dangerous for my tast. I mean if I dont do as you say I will get puniched just like today. I wouldn't like that." he said and kept his face down but as he watched him you could see a smile spread across his face that said it knew things that you didn't know. "but before I say anything I want to ask you something, how fast do you think I can get out of here before you guys notice that I did anything." and then right after he siad that he seemed to dissappear and reappeared infront of him. "sorry, your time is up." he siad and puched him in the gut. He then took Natali and flew out of there at the speed of light.

Chase laughed, "it go it just so that I could do that."

"Want some of mine?" She asked as she held hers out.

Chase smiled and licked it, "love some." he said happly

We just kissed. indirectly. She said playfully. She licked hers enjoying it.

Chase laughed and kissed her cheek, but it wasnt' as sweet as the real thing

Adrianna blushed.

Chase smiled and kissed her head, "now come on, I dont want to stay around these people for long." he said as he glared at the man.

Adrianna shuddered. "Let's go I cant stand that loser." She said as she walked by. The man jumped out of the booth grabbed her and held a gun to her head. "Dont move or the chick gets it." He said as he moved his hold to her neck. Chase..help me She begged him softly. tears forming on the corners of her eyes.

Natali gasped and closed her eyes frieghtened. When she opened them they were far away from the gang. But where they were exactly she didn't know. "Simon where are we?" she asked quietly. She looked around feeling greatful for Simon's quick thinking but she was scared on how her boss would react. "You don't think they'll go after Adri or Chase do you?" she asked fearfully knowing how her bosses mind worked.

Chase glared at him and forced the man to let go of her and point the gun at his own head. He didn't make him pull the trigger and took Adrianna into his arms. "should I make him?" he asked her softly and part of him thirsted to see the mans blood.

Simon chuckled, "dont worry, chase will be more then enough of a match for your boss. Chase may look weak but I have seen him kill a lot of people." he said and his voice held a hint of sadness but he soon landed on a cliff and smiled at her. "and right now we are about two states away from your boss. But that is only about a guess so we don't have to worry." he said as he looked at her and stroked her cheek, glad that she was okay.

Adrianna only nodded. She broke down crying.

Chase brough her into his arms and covered her eyes so that she couldnt' see it when the man shot himself. He whispered into her ear, "everything is going to be okay, he isn't going to hurt you." and kissed her head and ear.

Natali paled at the thought of Chase killing someone. That had been one of her nightmares that she remebered so well because she had seen the same one for a whole week. "I can believe it..." she said. She shuddered remembering the part were her blood was on his hands. She just hated her vivid dreams.

Simon pulled her closer when she shuddered and wrapped his wings around her like a blanket. "that is something no one wants to see." he whispered to her and kisse dher head. "now then do you want to head back to Chases house of head to a inn near there just incase the gang finds there way to chases house.

Natali? Adrianna called softly. She was still crying. "I was so scared Chase. So scared." She sobbed.

Natali's eyes widened but she held up a finger touching Simon's lips. "Hold that thought." she said hearing Adri's call. "Adri? Adri! Are you okay? What's wrong? she thought worriedly.

Chase held her close and stroked her head. "it is okay, everything is going to be okay. He isn't going to hurt you, ever." he let her cry and the other people in the ic cream store called the police and everything. But no one could pin this on him, he hadn't touched the man at all. He mearly just made the man shot himself with his mind.

Simon nodded and wondered what was the matter.

Natali looked at Simon and seeing the look in his eyes said,"Adri sounds scared...." she said not needing to explain any farther. Something was definately wrong... But what?

Simon nodded and took her into her arms. "hold on, we will be there in a few seconds." he said and took off again. In less then fourteen seconds he was outside of the ice cream shop and tucked his wings to his back so that not many people noticed them and if they did they would only think that it was a designe on his shirt. "have any idea what is wrong?" he asked as he saw police starting to pull up.

I'm scared. She said. She looked at Chase. "Promise me nothing will happen to you." She said her voice shaking

Chase held her close, "I will only if you promise nothing will happen to you." he said and kissed her head.

Simon wrapped a arm around Natali and started to walk inside. he saw Chase hugging Adrianna close and a man was dead on the floor. I wondered what happend he said to himself as he looked at the man then back at them.

Adrianna smiled. "I promise." She said as she kissed his cheek.

Chase smiled and kissed her back, "then I promise too."

Adrianna smiled. "I'm sorry."
