I like having the rotation option the most. It kind of reminds me of Gaia's banners with their day to night then to day again rotations.

I tried to get on Ernya like a year ago...I never got an email...and Now I forgot what email I sent for the username :/ So I can't ask...So I figure it just hates me.

I like the banner, but it is extreamly girly and cutesie which will attract no male to the site...
They really need to do something to make the logo stand out more :| its blends in too much and is barely noticable |

I like the new banners with just the clouds, they're pretty with out being too cutesy. I like cute art just not when it's all up in my business when I play solitaire. [I'm terrible at solitaire I just play it until I win one which is like once every hour or so lol]
They just updated their rules too .. no auto-playing videos or music in threads, thank every god in the sky for that one XD, some threads I've gone in to have nearly given me a heart attack because I didn't realize I had my sound on. |
I was so happy for those two new rules they updated. I hated seeing huge post style formats that are just not needed. The autoplaying music in threads would scare me sometimes too. It's like, "if I wanted to be listening to music, I already would've been on youtube, don't force it on me".

i'm so happy about the new rules but not so much about the banners. i mean i know they put out the simplified option that doesn't have the dragon or the little smiling sun but i still find the colors extremely girly. even with the simplified option you just can;t get away from all the pink. DX
but i adore the site and a few (in my opinion) banners aren't going to make me stop going. |

There are plenty of males there, and I'm not a girly girl, yet I think the banners are just wonderful, lol. Anyways, I actually do love this site, it's one of my favorite avatar sites xD; In fact, it basically taught me what I real avatar site with a real community was (I started my whole addition to avatar sites with Gaia - loved it, until Winter time came around in 09; during Spring I found out Ernya, and fell right in love). o uo;
Oh by the way, they do have simple banners added, since the user ask, they added them =) Which is another reason why I adore that site, the staff members really care about their users. |

I've had an Ernya account for a while now; I like it there, even if it does have its problems. I tend to go back and forth now that I've started using Menewsha again.

Yeah the inflation over there is kind of on the crazy side. I don't like seeing brand new items from Coin Items being sold instantly for over 20k+ just because it happens to be semi-rare to get amongst all of the other items.

The inflation there isn't really that bad, to be honest. It's beyond easy to obtain gold, esp since we have way more then users then before. More users = more chatting = inflation. It's completely normal for the items to inflate, and not all the items in the coins are right off the bat at 20k. Only one rare is usually close to 20k. On the first day, maybe a few items can go off more, but since I am more of an Exchanger on the site - the items usually go down in 15k once the hype is over.

I signed up for Ernya the other day and... I am actually kind of impressed. I did not expect to like it as much as I do!
It's not perfect, not by a long shot, but I love the avatars and the forum looks amazing. I love that the layout changes depending on the time, so far my favorite one is the night one. I see the inflation problem very easily, but since I am not into the items that are exclusive at the moment, though I may be later on, I don't really mind it that much. I do like that you get 30 gold, or a bit less, for each post, so if you don't feel like writing a lot on a small topic, you don't feel you have to to get a lot of gold. |
