he laid his head back down and a chill ran up him as he lay there with her. He smiled at the thought of someone like her caring for him. he grabbed the blanket and covered them both. still looking at the ceiling, he explained himself.

"Incase you get cold"

He laughed with the thought of what he said with the fire still crackling.

He just laid there. thinking. not really about nything, just taking in the moment.

"say, what urged you to come in here that night?"

((does he really come off as a dork? lmao))

His tone softened. He looked down at her.

"I know your probably tired of hearing me say this, but, thank you. im happy you entered this building. and im at peace here, with you. Granted we do have another ward here, and that creepy shadow that walks around from time to time. And maybe more people will show up in time. we have a lil family growing here. As soon as renovations are finished, ill make a sign to put out front. so we can get some costumers. sound good?"

He realized he was rambleing, but she didnt seem like she cared. She looked happy to just be with him. He was happy as well.

his eyes opened wide. he was curious about why she felt so comfortable with him.

"you dont mind it being almost always and only us? i dont want to bore you either though. If it doesnt get busy, wont you lose interest?"

he waited intently for her response.

worry leaving his system, he relaxed again.

"good, im happy to hear that."

Relaxing, he felt himself breathing a little heavier, but he wasnt falling asleep. he was wandering again. Wandering his past and trying to figure out why nothing he saw looked familiar. He saw the dark path again, he saw himself and the body in silloette. he watched as the person whom he could only see the silloette of raised a gun and fired. no sound was heard, but he saw himself fall. Jarring himself awake, he checked to see if he disrupted Raes comfort.

He shook off the memory as if it as only a bad dream. he smiled and gripped her hand.

"much thanks."

His consciousness was leaving. he tried to keep his eyes open. he tried to keep them focus on her. the harder he tried to focus, the wave of thoughts came back to him as his body deadweighted. He could hear himself think as if he was talking to himself.
if i got shot, why dont i have any scars from it?
He revisited the scene. It was a little clearer then the last time. It appeared that he was already bruised up prior to the shooting. He was being chased, but being that freshly bruised, he couldnt have much strength left. Then the man in the shadows returned. Before seeing himself get shot again, he looked around while in this memory. It looked as if it was another era.
how can this be

BANG! the gun had shot and his body tensed again.

His eyes opened. but not back to reality. He lay there in the street, battered and bruised and now shot. Noone was in site, he looked around for the shooter but apparently he had already left. He staggered to his feet and moved out of the blood puddle that was beneath him.
whats going on?
a familiar voice caught his ears, it sounded like it was coming from behind him. AS he turned his head.....

...his eyes opened. Staring down at him was Rae.

(( Giving up on colors and things for now... -had a LARGE portion of sugar....))


Rae looked at him with worry in her eyes. It had been a long few minutes since he tensed, and just woke up. She was afraid that something bad had happened. She had never seen anyone get so rigid before.

"G-Guma?"

She looked at him with her voice wavering as she spoke, scared.

"you kept...your promise."
he smiled and tried killing off the groggyness he felt. He hadnt quite realized how scared she was. After a moment or two, he became more aware of the situation.

"Sorry, to worry you so much. Thank you for watching over me."

He kissed her so she would know he was sincere.

She collapsed onto him, hugging him tightly. She buried her face into his shirt, she took a deep breath to calm herself down.

"I've never... ever seen anyone get that rigid. I was terrified. That's not normal..."

He smiled and laughed. Hopeing to calm her down. Then when he noticed he wasnt cheering her up he went for the next best thing. he softly raised her head from his shirt and looked into her eyes. He spoke smoothly to her, keeping her calm

"i dont know what has happened in my past, but im beginning to think im not normal. So i may go through this again. Im sorry i have to worry you like this. But you brought me back. I heard your voice. For the time being im fine. I dont feel it fighting its way to conquer my mind right now. so thank you. You reached me. Once i find out more about myself, ill make sure to let you know."

She looked at him, trying to keep the worry from her eyes. She swallowed, and nodded a little bit. The fear in her eyes was incapable of being hidden, and showed everything that she was scared of right then. The main thing happened to be losing him.

He kept looking into her eyes and he sensed that she was still very fearful. he sighed and continued.

"ill be fine. your with me. I wont leave cause i have no reason to. I DO have reason to stay, and that reason is you."

She swallowed again, and nodded. Forcing herself to believe that he will be okay, she flung her arms around him once again, and hugged him tight.

"I was so scared. Promise me you'll always come back?"

Running his fingers through her hair as they hugged, he nodded.

"Promise. as long asi have someplace to come back to."

He smiled teasingly

She nodded, and stayed as she was, not wanting to let go. Closing her eyes, she concentrated on his heartbeat to help her calm down.

he relaxed a little knowing she was ok. He didnt want to worry her more then he had to. But his past was getting interesting. He focused on Rae and making sure she was calming down. It has been a busy and crazy day. He thought about her other presence and the warning that came with her. He also concentrated on keeping her safe. Noticeing her breathing pattern, he realized she was syncing herself to his heartbeat. He smiled and placed his hand upon her head as he drifted asleep.
