Nicole stared around her golden-green eyes wide in fear, "Not this again please put me back!" she called out. 'Nichole! Nichole! Nichole!' she heard a whispery voice call and she spun around in a blurry fast movement, she had fallen off her bed but she had no way of knowing it, "W-whos there?" she called out again. 'Nichole........' the voice whispered in her ear right behind her. Nichole screamed and spun around to confront......nothing. "Why are you doing this to me!" she yelled bursting into tears.

"Well, yeah. I mean there aren't that many famiies running around that are ike mine. Chances are it really was my family you met." Alary said with a little confidence.It really would explain why we hit it off so well." He looked over at Aki with a smile.

Aki grinned back at Alary, putting his arm around Alary as well, "Well then, do you remember our promise?" Aki remembered the small group together, promising to help one another no matter what if one was in trouble. Aki blinked slowly, "Nevermind, let's just go find those girls."

Luna placed her hand in Ivan's very daintily; like she did everything. She walked beside him as they left the lunch room, completely ignoring the stares of nearly everyone there, and out to the school courtyard. As they entered the sunlight, she raised her face to the sky and closed her eyes. "I don't like being inside much." She explained. "It's almost like I'm claustrophobic, but I'm not afraid of the enclosed spaces, I just don't like them. I also don't normally talk this much." She added on the end. And it was true. Normally she much preferred to listen than talk.

When they reached the fountain, Luna tucked her dress under her legs and sat down on its edge. Pulling her feet up, she left her shoes on the ground and dipped one foot in the cool water while she left the other on the stone of the fountain. "It's beautiful here don't you think?"

Ivan smiled at her, he liked being ouside since it warmed him and he was always cold, side affect of being half vampire. "yeah me neither but I am enjoying talking to you." he said as he looked at her and sat down next to her. "and it is very beautifull out, almost as beautifull as you." he said as he smiled at her and looked at her.

"Ditto. It feels kind of good to give the ol' voice box a good workout. It doesn't get it much." She laughed. Feeling Ivan sit down beside her, she leaned back, her back against his shoulder. She hoped he didn't mind. "Thanks. Really. Most of the time, especially when I'm with Aki, people don't talk to me much. I normally just sit in the background. I like it there. No worries." She laughed and looked up, trying to crane her neck to look at Ivans face.

Ivan smiled and looked at her when she leand back agenst him. It was nice to have someone like her around who was like him in some ways. "yeah I normaly an there right beside you when it comes to the back ground. But I never saw you till now and I am glad to be with you now." he said as he looked into her eyes and smiled. They where beautifull and he loved looking into them.

Luna smiled and laughed quietly. Ivan was an easy person to talk to. Though she made it a point to try and dodge the flirty comments. They made her blush every time. "Same. Glad to have finally found a friend." Sure. She had other friends, not many understood her wallflower tendencies though. And who better to understand than another person always on the edges of the group? She glanced toward the woods where Aki, Alary, and Nicholle had disappeared. "I'm kind of worried about those three... Ya know, Aki and the other two. They didn't seem in that great of a mood when they disappeared..." She hated to ruin a good thing and thought that bringing Aki up might do just that. She really was worried though.

Ivan looked at her and nodded, "yeah so am I." he said as he looked at the forest then back at her. "how about if we go see if they are all right." he said but didn't move since she was leaning on his shoulder and if he did she would fall. But he was truely glad to have someone like her and dind't mind her ruining it since he had a feeling that he would be spending more and more time with her.

"Promise?" Alary thought for a moment then smiled as it came back to him. "Yeah I remember." He simply left it at that as the two of them emerged from the forest to see Luna and Ivan by the fountain. "Well looks like we can cross one person off our list." Alary said waving at the two. "All that's left is to get Nikki."

Aki nodded, waving at Luna and Ivan before following Alary towards the dorms. He glanced around swiftly but discreetly, he didn't want to cause Alary anymore distress over Aki's current state. A cold chill ran up Aki's spine and his eyes instantly focused on the dormhouse, one window in particular, "Alary...let me go, Nikki needs your help. Right now."

Nichole felt cold fingers trace her jawline and her throat from behind her, making her heart race and her mind go all fuzzy but she was too terrified to turn around. She closed her eyes and whimpered, "please let me go, dont hurt me please" she felt a cold breath against her ear and it sent shivers up and down her spine, a whispery voice sounded in her ear again, 'Nichole......' it said and suddenly she couldnt breath, she gagged her eyes bulging. She blinked her eyes and she found herself on her dormroom floor. She sat up quickly looking around her room a crazed look in her eyes. She scrambled up and crawled onto her bed. She curled into a tiny ball and layed there shaking.

"Aki?" Alary began but stopped when he saw how serious he was. "Alright but if you need anything call." Alary then took off towards the dorms. Using one of his tools he opened the window to the room he knew was Nikki's. He climbed in and looked around to find her curled up on her bed. "Nikki are you alright?" Alary asked calmly trying not to startle her.

Nichole jumped and looked over, "Oh alary you scared me" she said quietly, she sat up and rubbed her eyes, i am NOT telling him what just happened. she thought and looked over at him, "Er...why did you just climb through my window?" she asked him staring at the open window, "and i thought you were with Aki?" she was so confused on what was happening. She didnt want to think, her head was still racing and her heart rate wasnt completely normal.

Alary scratched the back of his head selfconciously. "Um. . . well Aki's outside and I came through the window cause it seemed like something was urgently wrong. Sorry about that. Guess Aki's rubbing off on me." He sighed and moved closer so that he was standing at the side of her bed. He looked her over and noticed she seemed aggitated. "So are you feeling any better? You look worse then when I left you."

Nichole smile, "yeah im fine" she lied. she looked out the window again and then she stared at alary, "Nothings wrong i was sleeping and i had a bad dream, that was it" she shuddered when she thought about her 'bad dream' boy a bad dream would be tame compared to that she thought with a frown. She ran one of her hands through her blue and black hair smoothing some of the strands that were sticking up.

Alary stared at Nikki for a moment. He knew she wasn't being completely honest with him. In fact he'd noticed that seemed to be the theme of the hour with both Nikki and Aki trying to hide whatever was bothering them. He sighed he wasn't used to people closing him out being from an open and close knit famiy. It was really starting to bug him."If you say so. You know you can tell me if somethings wrong. Whether it's a nightmare or something worse. I'm your friend after all. "

Nichole sighed deeply and sat on the edge of her bed letting her legs dangle off of the edge, "You remember what happened in the forest when my aura or whatever did..." she tried to remember what aki said, "whatever it did? Well it happened again only worse, this figure that ive been seeing everytime i space out...." she paused and she felt those cold fingers on her throat again, "he g-grabbed my throat and whispered in my ear...." she trailed off and bowed her head.

Luna laughed and waved back at Alary. "Nevermind. No worries in that department. Though... I wonder where Nikki is. Let's go find out." She jumped up gracefully and began walking toward Aki and Alary. As she neared the two and was about to say hello, Alary ran off. With an odd look, Luna watched him go then turned back to Aki. "Something wrong?" She meant was something wrong to make Alary run off like he had but looking at Aki she realized that she also wanted to know if there was something wrong with him.

Alary frowned at what Nikki told him. "That's not good. This sounds like someone's using their magic on you. We should get the others. You shouldn't be alone if someone's targeting you." Alary started pacing as he thought. This would explain why Aki was acting wierd if there was a powerful magic weilder nearby he'd definately have a sense of it. "Come on let's go." He motioned for Nikki to come with him.

Aki snapped out of his daze and locked gazes with Luna. He smiled softly at her, "I'm fine if that's what you're wondering. There was just a small problem with Nikki so I told Alary to go ahead, seeing as I would limit his movements now...though I didn't expect him to pull a page out of my book and climb through the window..." He muttered the last part, mostly to himself. He cast his gaze back over the surrounding forest, "I think it would be best if we all stuck together for now, come, bring Ivan also, I think he might be able to help with this...issue."

A ghost of Luna's former smile reappeared. "OK, I'm totally not buying that you're completely fine but alright. Whatever you say. We aren't going into the woods though are we?" She asked, looking down at herself and the way she was dressed. Nope, definetely not me. Finally making it completely to his side Luna looked up at Aki. "What... issue?"

Ivan followed Luna over to Aki and stayed quiet. Aki knew that vampires and half vampires where good at senceing things and also a few other things. But he had to wonder what was the matter. He then nodded, "yes what is the issue." he asked, his russain in ever single word and told no signs of leaving.

Nicholes golden-green eyes, usually glittering, were dull and lifeless as she watched him pace, "Why target me? im just a human, im no use to anyone" she asked, some one using magic on me? why? she thought. She narrowed her eyes slightly, "I dont need someone watching my every move" she said in a slightly offended tone. She got up and nodded, "Where is Aki again?" she asked not looking at alary.

Alary shrugged at her first question. "Who knows why someone would target you. It might just be random or a reason we don't know about yet. It's also not us watching you just looking out for you. I'm sure we'd all hate it if something bad happened to you. Aki's just outside. We were on our way here when Aki said you were in trouble." He led her out of the building. Once he saw everyone else gathered he walked right over.
