Abby woke up suddenly when she was being ripped from the bed by Julia. "what?... what the hell is going one?" she asked grogally still half a sleep. what a rude awakening she thought to herself. "what the fuck is your problem Jules?" she asked. on her guard she got up off the floor and stepped away from the girl.
|
Julia wanted to smack the woman. Nobody called her that except Jeff. "My name is Julia!" she yelled. She looked at Jeff with hurt expression. As if asking him why with just a look. Jeff tried to focus his eyes and make his brain work. "Julia," he got out of bed and walked over to her and pushed her outside of the room. "Please excuse us," he growled. In the other room he pushed her down on the floor so he could look down at her. "What the hell Julia? What's getting into you."
Julia didn't answer. She looked away so she could hide the fact she was crying. Jeff sighed and sat down next to her. "Come on Jules, don't cry," he hated seeing her cry. He didn't understand WHY she was. "Why are you so angry with Abby?" "You let her sleep with you," she mummbled. Jeff laughed. "I let you sleep with me too," he said in response. "It's not like we did anytihng, but sleep." Julia pouted. "I'm the only one allowed to do that," she said. "Jules, you're my best friend." Jeff didn't know what else to say. He had a bad feeling about this. He never thought of Julia more than a friend or maybe just a sister figure. He had kissed her once, but that was a long time ago, and that was rather awkward. Julia must be rather jealous of all the attention Abby was getting from him. He had, in a way, blown off Julia. they did everything together and last night he barely even danced wit her. "Cheer up. When we get home I'll buy you a mocha and new shoes." Julia liked the idea and hugged him. "That's a deal." After their talk appologized to Abby for Julia's behavior. |
Chris sighed. Damn, that woman was insane. After Jeff came in and apologized he went and laid back down to sleep. He was tired still. He just wanted to sleep and not ever wake up again. Chris mummbled a few things before he fell back asleep.
In the other room Alex was still sleeping too. The yelling didn't wake her up. |
Abby looked at the two as they came back into the room. suddenly realization hit her. Julia was jealous of her. her of all people. "um... Jules..." Abby winced as she realized her mistake. "I mean Julia. can I talk to you for a minute in private?" she asked hoping this really was a good idea.
|
Julia let out a rather long sigh. "Yeah, sure." She said, not very nice either. "What is it?"
((I'm editing this to make another post <.< Sorry this was so short)) Deumos sat watching through his crystal. He had already killed off the the last threat to his rise in power, now what the hell was he supposed to do? These stupid kids had nothing. Though that Abby girl showed much potential. Maybe, he thought to himself, if he could get to her first he could take her. Turn her against them. She was the only one out of the group who showed any potential. Yes. He stood up and pushed back the crimson colored cape. Now, should he go alone or send somebody else? And this Todd character who brought them there. Now Deumos wasn't exactly sure how the guy escaped under his radar. If the guy could move between dimensions then he was automatic a threat to him. Deumos decided to go alone. He asked his assistant if he was charming enough to lure the woman. The demon girl told him he was. But she could be lying, she only stated what he wanted to hear. It was easy enough to transmit himself to where the group of people were. He saw the woman, Abby, away from the others with some other red-headed woman. He peered through the window then contemplated his next move. |
Abby stepped out into the hall with julia. "i'm sorry I just wanted to talk to you about Jeff. you see I was under the impression that you two were just friends. I didn't realize you wanted to be more then that." she paused for just a sec. "and i'm sorry that i called you Jules.. that was the only name i had heard you referred to. and listen if you want me to back off of Jeff I will, i'm not about to step in on your territory. so just say the word and i will stop." she said waiting for Julia to respond. hoping that she wouldn't ask her to back off of jeff, but if she did she would without a doubt. she liked jeff and it seemed like he liked her as well, but if Julia was that uncomfortable with it then nothing would happen between her and jeff ever!
|
((I think I'll introduce Julia's "power" I guess :P ))
"Jeff is my best friend," she said. "He is the only guy I've ever known." She looke ddown as she continued. She felt the urge to cry as she confesed somethings rather personal to her. "Jeff doesn't think of me as anytihng other than his little sister. He's always there for me and he's always watching over me like a brother. He's too dence to figure out that I like him more than that. I have no chance with him." Well that was it. It broke the damn. She broke down in tears. She wanted to say more and just let it off her chest, but she wasn't going to. It hurt to admit that. She saw Jeff with other people. As time went on it just got harder and harder for her. At the moment she felt a warmth around her and the crackling of fire. She blinked and looked down. "Oh, good fuck, what the hell?" Small flames danced around her arms and up to her shoulders. As soon as she freaked out the fire went out. "Did that just happen?" A smooth, silvery brow rose on Deumo's dark face. Now, this was interesting. The other was coming into power as well. Maybe he should just take them both and be done with it. He smirked. Well first he had to figure out how to get them with out startling them. Or maybe he'd just watch frolm where he was. He licked his lips and just waited to see what would happen. |
abby looked at Julia and surprize came to her face as she saw fire on her. then she jumped up and down excitedly. "yay i'm not the only freak now yay!!!" then she turned to look around the living room. "hey julia" she asked quietly. "do you ever get the feeling your being watched?"
|
Julia scowled at Abby. "I'm not a freak!" She pressed her lips tightly together and folded her arms. When Abby asked about being watched she unfolded her arms and shrugged. "I suppose I do, sometimes. Why do you aske?"
|
Abby looked around again seeing nothing. "I ask because I feel that way right now. maybe we should go back in with the guys? Oh and I'm sorry, I didn't mean that you were a freak I was just glad that I wasn't the only one who had powers. I'm glad I'm not alone anymore. so does this mean that your trigger is saddness?" she asked.
Todd was in his room fiending sleep. He didn't need sleep like the others. not in his world at least. when he was in their world he did. sleep was hardly neccisary here. he decided that it would be a good time to 'wake up' and be a good hostess by making them breakfast. as he walked into the living room he saw a shadow of a tree outside the window. that was strange he thought it never cast a shadow like that before. He walked to the kitchen and made breakfast. He hoped they liked blueberry pancakes he thought to himself as he was freashly squeezing some orange juice. |
"I actually don't mind begin out here alone," she said just as Todd came out of his room. "Now we're not alone, maybe we can get answers out of this guy." She followed quietly as Todd made way to the kitchen and watched him until he noticed her. She wasn't going to say anything right away, she just waited.
Deumos sat quietly, watching from a nearby tree. He sat back and relaxed; it was much nicer out here than in his stuffy castle, where it was dark and gloomy, where he had to deal with annoying servants. He had decided to wait until they left the house. It would be much easier than sneaking in. Besides he didn't know the limits of this Todd fellow. Really, if he wanted to Deumos could jump through the window snatch one or both of the women and be bone before anybody realized they were missing, but that wasn't much fun. He rather liked to play games with people, so he watched, and waited. |
Todd Turned after making the orange juice and saw Julia there. "well good morning Julia, did you sleep well? he asked as he put some pancakes on the stove to cook. he knew she probably wanted answers but he wasn't the type of person to assume which ones. so he was going to have to wait until she started asking her questions.

It had been a long night. Amelia hadn't slept well. Her sleep was plagued with dreams about magic, and things coming to life, and also nightmares, nightmares of shadows and demons coming after her. She was relieved when it was morning, although she had been awakened rather suddenly, her heart pounding. Screaming herself, Amelia stopped when she realized it was just the angry screaming of one of the other girls. Amelia then realized that there were two girls missing from the room, Abby and Julia. She rolled her eyes. She suspected as much. Abby seemed highly flirtatious, it was rather annoying to watch. It wasn't cool now, that Abby had done the one thing not even Amelia had even thought to do. She threw the blankets off of her and placed her feet on the floor. "Morning." Amelia said, stifling a yawn. She stumbled out of the room and looked down the hall for a bathroom. "Um, dude, whatever your name is again, I have to pee!" She called loudly. She ignored the chatter coming from the boys room and stared at Todd's room, still closed. "It's okay, I can piss on the floor, not a problem."
Marcus rolled his eyes at his sister. Leave it to her to turn the spotlight onto herself. Amelia was always an attention whore, but then again, that's why he loved her. He wasn't sure why girls were fighting over that Jeff character, but an odd feeling had come over him when Julia screamed at Jeff. He found himself wanting to go comfort her, but she was pretty and seemingly popular, and he, well he was a geek. Someone like Julia would never give him the time of day. Sighing, he sat up. Might as well get used to his new surroundings. |
Julia pushed her hair over her shoulder and then a hand to her hip. "You know you didn't give us any information last night. Not enough to convince me we should trust you or even stay here with you. I want to know exactly why we are here and why you can fix this problem yourself." Last night when Todd talked to them, he was far to vague. So they had powers in this world, but not their own. So what? She was sure there were plenty of other people besides them here that could do Todd's dirty deeds. "And I want to know what role you play in all this." Her face was stern and showed nothing but slight annoyance and maybe a hint of anger. She didn't like this place one bit. She didn't like what was going on at all.
|
Marcus found the kitchen without a problem. "Uh, hello." He mumbled. It smelled good, all things considering. He wasn't sure why Todd was making breakfast for them, after he practically kidnapped them. Unless the food was poisoned, and Marcus doubted that. "What's for breakfast?" He asked, shyly. He looked down at himself, and was disappointed to find he was still wearing the clothes from last night. "Are there any stores around? Or something? I would like to buy a change of clothes." That came out stiffer than he wanted it to, but at least he said it. He hoped no one would confuse him with his shopaholic sister.
|
Julia turned and smiled at Marcus who walked up to the kitchen where she was questioning Todd. "Yeah, I agree with you." She shifted her hips in her dress and tugged at it to keep it in place. "Let's add that to your list of question's Todd."
|
Todd looked at Marcus who had just entered the room. "breakfast is blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, and fresh squeezed orange juice." he said, and no there aren't any stores around, but I find if you look in the third droor of the dresser in your room you might find something that suits your taste. " he said and then turned to look at Amelia, "the bathroom is the second door on the right" and then he turned his attention to Julia. "and as for your questions, I think it is best to wait until after breakfast so I can explain to everyone at once, seeing how I am almost certian that you all will have the same questions for me." He sat a steaming plate in front of her, and then one in front of Marcus. He made up plates for everyone else and himself and then he went to tell everyone that breakfast was served.
|
Julia wasn't really in the mood to eat. She was kind of upset and angry, and yes very much annoyed. She wanted answers to her questions and this guy just wasn't giving them. On her way out the door she stole a bunch of bacon.
She let out a very long sigh, hoping to chill her nerves. Well, at least she wouldn't have starve while being here, and she was with Jeff. It could be worse, she thought. And in a way it just started to become worse, with out her even knowing. Deumos smiled and slid out of the tree. He brushed his pants off and fixed his hair. Now was his chance to make a move on her. Coming up behind her would just be too sneaky, he had to confront her face to face. He moved through some underbrush and jumped over a bush, which caught Julia's attention. She caught the man's eyes and gasped. Not sure if she was more surprised or frightened. He was a very attractive man; in an odd sort of way. His silvery hair flowed over his shoulders where it stopped only a few inches below. Part of it was pulled back and pinned while the rest of it was allowed to flow gracefully across his back and shoulders. He took a deep bow and looked up at her with his blood red eyes. He knew his eyes caused many people to mistrust him and they had good reason to as well, but many people were drawn in by his charm, good looks, and linguistic skills; but that mainly applied to women. "Hello my dear," he spoke with a smooth, yet slightly deep voice. He rose from his bow, standing about about six and a half feet. Fairly tall; for a man like himself. Julia took a step back. "Hello to you too, what are you doing way out here?" A smile slowly formed on his pale lips. "It's not very deep into the woods," I just noticed you were housing with..." He paused trying to think of the man's name. "..Todd. I've never seen you around here," he stated. "You must be new?" Julia frowned and gave him a shrug. "Yeah, he kidnapped me and my friends," she explained. With a small frown, Deumos shook his head in disapproval. "My, my. Such is how Todd is," Deumos said with a sigh, still shaking his head. "He's kidnapped a few women and told them they were special..." He paused long enough to get Julia's reaction; she was fully interested in what he had to say. He could tell by her face. "I think we should get you away from here," He said. Deumos put out a friendly, welcoming hand; hoping she would take it. Julia didn't take it only because she didn't want to leave her friends. "What about the rest of them?" she asked. "Oh, they can come too, but we can't let Todd know. We must not let him think anything wrong is going on. Your friends will be safe if they don't have any powers for him to harvest. He'll probably knock them out and dump them somewhere. As for anybody else; they will die." Julia's eyes popped open. She went into a panic and grabbed Deumo's arms. "Thank God you found us! My friend and I have developed some sort of magic. He's going to kill us!" Of course Julia believed this guy. He seemed very nice and trusting, while Todd only had secrets this guy had answers. "We must get her away!" Deumos smiled with a nod. "Of course my dear, she will have to come too." Julia nodded. "I'll be back, I'll go get her." "I'll be here," Deumos said. He only hoped nobody else would come with them. He didn't know if Todd knew of his existence or not. He didn't know this Todd person at all. Julia calmly walked into th house and watched as the others ate. She found Abby and whispered in her ear: "come with me. I have somebody who you have to meet." She said nothing else and calmly walked to the door, back outside. |
Alex and Chris sat at the table, both of them were pretty much quiet as they ate, keeping their thoughts to themselves. Todd said he would explain and answer questions after they were done eating. So, Alex at as fast as she could so she could hear these answers she's been wanting.
Meanwhile, a strange little creature hopped around the outside of the house. It's pink little nose twitched as it sniffed the air. It smelt something, that was just not right, then hopped up onto the window seal and pushed open the window with its small furry body. The little white, fluffy creature fell through the window unexpectedly and crashed to the ground. Seeing how it was only a small animal it didn't make much of a noise as it did so. It's long ears laid back against its head and his fluffy tail sat like a cute little fluff-ball on its bottom. 'hm, where are they?' the little rabbit wondered. He hopped, hopped, hopped and finally he heard voices coming from a kitchen and the smell of morning breakfast. 'It smells so nice~!' it squeaked. Even though he was a rabbit, he could still speak. Even though his voice was rather squeaky. ((haha maybe I'll wait for somebody else to post or notice mr fluffy before i go on? XDD)) |

Todd watched the exchange of silent words between Julia and Abigayle, and then watched them go outside. He wasn't worried though, Julia had probably just fond the small pond close by that she wanted to show her. or talk to her in private seeing as they were both going for the same guy. He then looked around the room at the other faces. they were all ready for some answers, he should wait until the others were back he thought, but then he also considered that they could get the answers they wanted from the others. besides everyone was starting to get hostle. Deumos waiting for only a few minutes. When he saw Julia return with her friend he stood up straight and smiled politely. He bowed to them both and began to spoke. "I'm glad to see you decided to come back," he said to Julia. "And you rescued your friend too." Deumos bowed to Abby and grabbed her hand, placing a small kiss on her knuckles. He noticed in Abby's eyes that she was questioning his meaning. "Come, come, lets be away from here before we speak." He gathered the girls under his arms and the began to walk off. As they walked he made up a rather grand lie explaining about how Todd was evil and he was not. Both, very big lies.
Julia stopped and grabbed Deumo's hand. "What about Jeff? I really want him to come too." Deumo almost felt pity for the girl. Almost. Tears of worry gathered in her eyes. "Have no fear for your dear friend. We will come back." Abby wasn't liking the idea of leaving with another stranger. And for some reason she just didn't buy the fact that Todd was evil. She thought something was going on with the guy and she didn't trust him at all, but she never thought he would kill her. It just didn't make sense, so she stopped walking and stared at the two who did. Deumos stopped and turned. "What's wrong my dear?" He didn't have to ask, really. He could tell by the look on his face that she was questioning him. She wanted to back. The house wasn't to far off. Deumos wondered if he should just take Julia and leave or fight with Abby in order to leaev with her too. Despite being one who had domination over many worlds, Deumos, wasn't that powerful himself. He saught out people like these women to do his dirty work for him. He decided if he let Abby go, then he wouldnt' have to force her. If he forced her to come with them, then Julia might leave too. |
((MOTHER F**K! lasdkjfasdf D: I haad such a LOOONG post and I lost it because when i hit backspace it decided to instead of delete what i wanted it to.. it decided to go back 3 pages -.- fucker.. sigh.. sorry this isn't going to be good as it was and not even half as long D:<))
When the rabbit was addressed it's eyes widened (like this O.O) it then hopped over to where the other's were sitting. "Um, hello." Alex let out an odd little shriek as she shot up from her chair and pointed a shaking finger at the rabbit. "It can talk!" Chris laughed. He wasn't sure if he could really believe what he was seeing, but after all that had happened so far... It shoudln't be so hard to believe anyways. The rabbit nodded. "Well, yes. Of course I can. I haven't always been a rabbit you know." Everybody looked at it with weird looks of confusion and wonder. "I see we are missing two," the rabbit said. Nobody spoke in response. "Ah, well we can talk to them later," he suggested. Todd walked closer to the ball of fluff. The rabbit looked back. "Well first I must thank Todd for bringing you here. And I must apologize to him, because it is I who influenced events in order for him to get to you and bring you back. You see Todd, as you may already know, is able to freely travel between worlds and I had to use him to get to you." The others blinked and gave him stupid stares, no questions were asked. They were all in shock from the sudden appearance of a talking rabbit. "Perhaps Todd has explained to you how our world, many other worlds, and your own world are in great peril. There is an evil spreading across each world and we need help reclaiming the worlds and preventing any other world to be taken over by this evil." "Deumos?" Chris asked. The rabbit nodded. "Yes, yes. That is him. I see you have been briefed on our situation already. You see he isn't as all powerful as everybody would think. But he finds people, just like you, to do his dirty work for him." "He seems like a rather lazy bastard," Alex said. "Well, in that way, maybe he is. But he is adamant about ruling these words, because he will soon figure out out so siphon their power and once he does that the worlds will no longer exist." "So," Alex said as she pushed in her chair, forgeting about her breakfast. "What you say is. We need to stop this guy before he destroys all these worlds? And how do you expect us to do that?" "Todd will travel with you to different worlds. You will have to collect artifacts of power that were left in each world by the gods. Each of them possess different sort of power. These are what Deumos are after as well. Once he gains the artifacts he will have control of the world. If we get to them first we can use them to restore by body and I can take Deumos out of teh picture." "So, we travel to these worlds and get the artifacts and give them to you? What makes us think that you wont be using them for the same reason as him?" The rabbit let out a fustrated squeak. "I'm nothing like that man. It is his fault I'm in this form! There is one ultimate evil and one ultimate good. He is that evil and I am that good!" The room was silent. Nobody spoke. He knew there was lot to say and a lot to explain. So he waited for their questions. |
Amelia just sat back and listened to everything. She had no idea what to say in response to Todd, or to the rabbit. She was scared, but was scared to admit it. Amelia wanted to be brave, act brave. She wouldn't feel right if she did otherwise. For now, it would be best if she said absolutely nothing. She looked back down at her untouched plate of food and picked up a fork. It was now cold, while her orange juice was not so fresh anymore. Still, Amelia finished off her meal, slowly, trying to think. She had a ton of questions, but none of them, she could ask. For some reason, she couldn't bring herself to. She snuck a glance at Marcus, who was staring intently at the rabbit, and then she snuck a glance at Christopher, who within less than 24 hours, she had developed a raving crush on him. If anything happened to either, Amelia knew she wouldn't rest until she did something.
"Todd says we have...magic." Amelia finally said. "I haven't seen any proof of this. All we have to go on is the word of a man and a talking rabbit. Yet somehow..." Amelia trailed off, rolling her eyes upward, unsure if she wanted to say the next part. "Somehow, I think it's what we need to do." She stared at the rabbit, seeing the others out of the corners of her eyes. "This quest, I mean." A small smile appeared on her lips, maybe one of amusement, not even Amelia knew. "I wouldn't be able to rest, knowing that a possible apocolypse happened while I sat around debating magic." |
((I seemed to have hit a writer's road block. Maybe I'll post tomorrow...))

Abby looked around at all of the faces. "not like what man?" she wondered. "never mind that..." she continued breathlessly. "Julia just went off with some guy named Deumos, they wanted me to go with but I didn't really trust him" she continued. Todd Jumped up. "WHAT?" he yelled. "HOW... HOW COULD YOU JUST LET HER GO OFF WITH THAT MAINIAC?" He was furious. he knew he shouldn't have let them go outside by themselves when they did. now they would have to try to save Julia before they could really defeat Deumos. or would they have to defeat him before they could get her back? He hoped they weren't already too late. |
