Ai slowly drifted back into consciousness and when she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was a white ceiling. The first thing she felt was a killer headache and a sore leg.
"Wh... what?" Where was she? Why was she there? And how did she get there?

Sami woke up and found she was tied to a table thing... restraints... she looked round everything was white the walls the sealing the stupid gown theyde put on her... even the girl on the other table... WAT?! that was Ai. Ai was next to her.
Sami tried to talk but realized that theyd put restraints on her vocal chords too.

Ai groaned and looked around her, blinking. Next to her she saw a head of spiky red hair.
"S- Sami? Oh God, where are we?!"

Sami wanted to answer in words but she couldnt... why had they put vocal restraints on her and not Ai? Sami nodded and wanted to use her hands in sign language to show she couldnt speak but they were tied in restraints.

The white was playing with the light so Sami couldnt really see if Ai was in restraints or not...

Ai saw the nod and guessed that Sami wasn't able to speak.
Ai realised that her hands were tied together behind her back and that her ankles were also fastened together, but apart from that she could move. She shuffled her way off the table and also saw that she was bound to the table by a chord attached to her neck. Luckily, though, the cord was reasonably long.
She made her way round to in front of Sami.
"We've really landed in it, haven't we?"

Sami was happy to see that Ai wasnt bound as tightly as herself.
She nodded again.
Sami coughed and then suddenly she had a really bad coughing fit and a wee block came out of her mouth... the vocal straints.
"I-i- ca-n speak.." Sami said and smiled.

"What happened? How did we get here again?" Ai rubbed her head awkwardly, with both wrists tied together. She ahd a killer headache, and her leg was numb.

"Thunder = Bad Special... real Sam gone.." Sami spoke with difficulty.

"Oh yeah, Thunder must've been a Special... and swapped plces with him when he got surge! That explains how he knew how to use the hole in the wall and everything! OMP And he immobilised you and I didn't notice! I'm so sorry!"

"Dont be sorry, how could u notice? i was invisible!" Sami laughed a little. "Wat are we going to do? i cant move at all!" Sami tried to wriggle her fingers and toes but even they were restrained.

Ai shuffled around and felt in her pockets. They hadn't removed anything, but then she never had anything of use in them.
"Don't you have any cool gadgets like in films or something? Something your dad made? If you tell me where it is, I might be able to grab it."

"Uhm, i dont know, i remeber throwing some random stuff in my pockets, but look at me, they changed my clothes im wearing this stupid night clinic gown thing." Sami looked down at herself in discust.

"They probably changed your clothes because you had all thos gadgets in them. Probably why you're tied down when I'm not. Well, I have more freedom to move, at least." Ai rummaged through her pockets some more. "There's gotta be something in here we can use."

"I just cant belive thunder is a special. i mean he acted like Sam, apart from how he knew everything." Sami sighed. life was complicated.

"That's Specials for you," said Ai. "They're like that. I hope the real Sam's all right..."

"Wat do we do now?" Sami smiled.

"Well, I don't suppose it's of any use to try and escape..." said Ai. "But we've got to go and warn Kaito. Thunder will probably go find him, say that the two of us are safe and lead him into the same trap we fell into."

"yes that wasnt much help.. i guess we just wait then." Just then a doctor came in or what seemed like a doctor.

The doctor was a Special. He had cruel, wolf-like pretty features. Pretty, but scary. His gaze was icy and Ai flinched when he looked at her. But he didn't close the door behind him. Could this be their chance? They couldn't just run out the door, but what if Sami were able to distract him while she grabbed him from behind? She wasn't sure how much a of a chance they stood, btu ti was worht a try. Probably a lot better than whatever the Specials intended to do to them.

Sami looked at Ai and felt she was thinking the same thing... but Ai was tied to the table, "your tied." sami whispered to ai

"I've got room to move around," Ai whispered back as the doctor approached. She tugged on the cord binding her to the table. It didn't give way, btu she didn't expect it to. But it was long enough for her to move. Although it was difficult given her wrists and ankles were tied together. "Distract him," she whispered.

Sami nodded discreetly and started moving on the table, she swung from one side to the other. the doctor came rushing to her side telling her to shut up he tightned the restraint. sami yelled out in pain.

Hearing Sami in pain, Ai instantly flew at the doctor from behind with everythign she had. She put her arms over around his throat, the cord between her wrists choking him.
"Let. Her. Go," she said with gritted teeth.

The doctor unleashe his sharp special nails and striked at Ai, cutting her wrists loose, he slashed about and cut Ai's cord attaching her to the table by accident.
But he didnt let Sami go.

Her wrists were loose and she was free from the table. Ai could have run, but she couldn't leave Sami. Besides, she probably wouldn't get very far without her friend.
Thinking of nothing else to do and throwing caution to the widns, she leapt at the doctor once more, kicking, scratching, punching at any part of him she could reach. In the midst of pulling his hair she was able to get her knee right into his groin and kicked him there.
