Frost walked over and gently nuzzled it trying to sooth it. "Shh Blade you are safe here." She gave him a slight smile or tried to.

Blade was shivering. Dresdus looked up at Frost. "Frost, I think we should bring Blade back to the den, He needs our help."

Frost nodded in agreement as she gently pushed him to his feet. "Blade come with us please our den isn't that fare away."

Blade followed Dresdus and Frost back to the den. Dresdus sat down and curled around Blade to warm him up. "Thank you, I've never met wolves before" Blade said. " "I'm glad I could help. I know what it's like to loose a loved one."

Frost turned at his words as a tears rand down her muzzle she gently walked out of the den. She walked to where Dresdus had buried fang. She fell down and cried.

Snow looked at the lion cub. "I am Snow. Don't worry about Frost... it just hurts right now for all of us. My..My" Snow cried as she thought about Fang.

Dredus looked down at Blade. "We just lost our son, Fang. Sorry if things seem a little stressful around here." "I understand, I also lost my family."

Frost walked back to the den after she had cried all she could and had told Fang by. Frost looked at Blade then at Dredus. "Are you hungry blade? If you are I will go hunting besides Snow needs to learn how to hunt."

"Yes please. Thank you." Dresdus looked up at Frost. "I'll stay here and keep Blade safe. He is still a young cub."

Frost headed out with Snow beside her. They stopped as they found a stray deer. Frost moved closer then jumped at it causing to fall to the ground. Snow ran up and grabbed the deer's let and broke it with a quick movement. Frost quickly did the same to it's neck. The two drug it back to the den.

Dresdus saw Frost and Snow come back with the deer. "Blade, go ahead and eat your fill." "Thank you, your very kind." Blade went over and started eating his fill. He looked up at Snow. "Would you like to share?"

Snow smiled slightly as a tear ran down her face he reminded her of Fang. "Sure thank you." Snow began to eat on the deer. She left more than enough for him.

Frost walked up and sat beside Dresdus she gently nuzzled him and licked his muzzle. "I love you Dresdus....I know you did everything you could and now we have another to look after."

Dresdus licked Frost. "I just feel this is the forest giveing us a second chance."
Blade ate his fill. The mountain lion cub then pounced on Snow. "Do wolves like you like to play?"

Snow laughed as she wiggled out from under him then pounced back on top of him. "Of course and I take it that mountain lions like to too!"Snow laughed as she bounced about him. She was faster than him and happy about it. He was bigger than Fang was.

"You may be right love."

Blade pounced on Snow again, playfully whacking her with his paws.
Dredus Nuzzled Frost. "I know he's not a wolf, but I think Blade should stay with us. He has no where else to go."

Frost looked up at Dredus and nodded in agreement. "You are right. Besides he would make a great guardian, and a good friend for snow it looks like."


Snow laughed then stopped as sadness filled her eyes as she thought about fang and who they use to play. It hurt to think about Fang and their memories and it hurt to play with blade now. Fang's memorie kept coming back if she had only told him how much she loved him before left. Snow sat on the ground as she leaned her head up and the out a howl of sorrow as tears feel from her eyes.

Blade went over to Snow. "I heard about your brother, and I'm really sorry. I recently lost my siblings too" Blade began licking Snow to try and make her feel better.
Dresdus went over to Blade and Snow, Nuzzleing them both. "It's ok to be sad, just know that your brother is at peace."

Blade started rubbing against Snow. "Great. I promise to look after you Snow."

Snow laughed as she licked his muzzle. "You better or I'll get you!" She teased with him as she saw a smile come across Frost face.

Frost watched the others as she stud in the entrance of the den. She kept her eyes over her new family thankful to have a second chance.

Dresdus went over to frost, nuzzling her. "I'm glad we have Blade in our family. He may be a mountain lion, but we are all children of the forest."

Frost nuzzled him back as she laughed then licked him. "That was are, I am thankful as well. Though I am very thankful to still have my mate."

Blade went runnig up to Frost, rubbing against her. "Are you my new mom?"

Frost laughed as she leaned down and nuzzled him then licked his nose in a playful manner. "If you will let me be." She smiled at Blade as she played with him.

"Your one of our pack now Blade, feel free to call me dad." Dresdus started licking Blade, and playing with him.

Frost laughed as Snow jumped in with them playing with Blade.
