Yo people. Sorry I've been gone a while, been at lectures and drinking and chiling with the housemates (who are awesome, and one is another ff.net author!) (Re-reads last few posts). MG, did you have a software disc with your phone? Some do and you need to install those before you can connect your phone to the pc to transfer files. Or, if it has a memory card, you can buy a usb thing that you can plug into your computer, then you can plug the card in to that.

We've been costume shopping :)
It's the Halloween Disco comign up, for seniors only, so we all went out to get our costumes. Me and Mika are pirate sisters :rofl:

(Chuckles) Sounds like you've been having fun then. I think we have stuff going on in a couple of weeks, but not until halloween weekend. I have no clue if I'm gonna go or not, or if any of the housemates are!

Hey Urchie! -waves- I don't know. I don't have any software but Mam thinks she knows how to set it up so I'll get her help connecting my phone hopefully in the next week then I can put songs from my computer into my phone and vise versa!

I iz an awesome pirate. My parents were ok with my costume as well, Mirani! I just need to go back to the shop later to get the pistol to go with the otufit to complete the effect since Mika's got a sword :)

No they were fine with it. Well, my dad seemed slightly uncomfortable about it, but I just started emphasising the hat and saying how awesome it is - because it is amazing. :)

Also, by fail day, it meant that I had SEVERAL fails, and in the end if I didn't have a games night with a crowd, I would have been pissed off for the rest of the day!

Games are usually a good way to get rid of unwanted stress. I should know! I'm doing a topic on stress during psychology and it's one of the things taht's suposed to relieve stress!

Lucky...four weeks off in a row! Oh well, two is okay and it's more spread out I guess. -sighs happily- It feels GOOD!!!!!

(Chuckles) You learn something new everyday...playing Rock Band, Halo and Mario Kart was pretty fun, actually (even if i did get owned on Halo Reach when I played it).

And yeah, thats how uni works, we have 1 whole term with no breaks except for when we don't have lectures where we have to do our extra work, then we have 4 week holidays!

That does sound quite good although I've always preferred Sonic to Mario personally. Sonic rules!!!! And Shadow is even cooler!!!!!

It'll definitely be interesting getting used to the uni time table when I finally start attending. I'm looking forward to it! I'm still swaying in different directions trying to decide what I'll do but I've still got a bit of time to figure it out.

You'd better just get it outta the way over the next couple of days that way it's not nagging at the back of your head for the whole holidays and ruining them! That's the worse feeling when yoU KNOW you've fot stuff to do but you havne't done it...-shifty eyes- not that I'VE ever doen it of course...HONEST!!!!!!!!

(Chuckles) Sure you haven't MG. And yeah, it isn't fun. Times like that really do make procrastination into a pain in the ass!

Fair enough with the games. And Uni Timetable isn't that bad. You'll have lectures around campus, the odd break between them and you normally have a free day in the week. Well, I do here. Not sure how it works at other unis.
Not sure what else you'll have besides lectures, since your degree will be VERY different to mine, but you'll probably have tutorials where you'll have to do some written work. Lectures will simply be taking notes. You may have other things, but thats what most of your timetable will be like.

I think every uni course has lectures so that's a given and the tutorials will probably be there like you say. It'll be interesting though.

Oh it will be very interesting. Have a look at what societies there are at your uni as well (if they have them), because they'll organise a lot of social stuff. I'm currently with a few (Gamers and Anime are the main ones for me at the moment). They'll hopefully be a lot of fun!

It's okay. I'm continuously being distracted by fanfics and that's why I don't reply right away all the time.
I plan on it! I'm hoping to maybe apply to Edinburth Uni maybe or possibly Dundee...it all depends but I think there are a few there and I know that there's someone on fanfiction that's trying to set up forums all over the UK for fanfiction writers and I think that they mentioned taht they were trying to set up meetings in Edinburgh or something but that was a while ago and I dunno if they ever made any progress -shrugs-
