Sure thing! My wombat name is Wez. I just thought it up on the spot and liked it although we don't use the wombat names very often.

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 08:46 PM

So you don't typically call each other by your wombat names?

Magician Girl Mirani 11-28-2010 08:50 PM

Sometiems we do and sometimes we don't. It depends really.

----------

Be back in a lil bit guys. Just gotta go take care of something. I'll be about half an hour or so.

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 08:53 PM

Okay.... umm.... I need more ideas. haha. What are some other names people have used?

Urchie 11-28-2010 08:53 PM

Okay-no worries MG.

And wombat names are hardly used. Mine's Womble. But yeah, most of the ones i've seen start with W, which is why i though that. Sorry if that confused you halferty

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 08:54 PM

Okay. I'll be Withywindle.

Urchie 11-28-2010 09:05 PM

Ooh...interesting name.

Well then Withywindle, welcome to the Wombat Spa. You will most likely never be called by that name again :)

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 09:07 PM

Hahaha. It's the name of a river in Lord of the Rings.

Urchie 11-28-2010 09:08 PM

...I haven't watched those films in ages. Though I thought it rang a bell somewhere deep within the pits of hell that I attempt to call my mind.

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 09:09 PM

haha, it's not mentioned in the movie. Just the book...

Urchie 11-28-2010 09:12 PM

...okay, so i haven't read those books. I've read the Hobbit though...

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 09:13 PM

Did you know they're making a movie on The Hobbit now?

Martin Freeman (he played Arthur Dent in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is cast as Bilbo!)

Urchie 11-28-2010 09:16 PM

Yeah I've heard about that. Shows I should keep a better eye on the news. I'd heard at first he wasn't gonna do it because he was contracted to do more episodes of Sherlock as Dr Watson...have to admit he did a good job there!

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 09:18 PM

YES!!! I adore that show. Why the heck do they only do three episodes a year, though?? I know Steven Moffat is busy with Doctor Who, which is probably his first priority, but come on... He's not the only one writing for Sherlock. They could definitely do more episodes in a year.

Magician Girl Mirani 11-28-2010 09:23 PM

And I am back!!!!!!!! So...what've I missed?

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 09:24 PM

I chose my wombat name. Withywindle. it's from Lord of the Rings. And also, they're making a movie of The Hobbit. And it has the new BBC show's Dr Watson in it.

Magician Girl Mirani 11-28-2010 09:25 PM

Niiiiice! I definitely like that name! Really? That'll be interesting to watch. I'm betting it won't be as good as the original trilogy though.

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 09:28 PM

Well, it's gonna be directed by Peter Jackson again, so that's good. He'll be able to make sure it ties in with the other movies very smoothly.

Urchie 11-28-2010 09:29 PM

More than likely-remember that The Hobbitt is the PREQUEL to the Lord of the Rings series.

And as for 3 episodes-remember that each is an hour and a half long with a few sub plots in if you look for 'em, so I think you get a lot from what we get. I'm looking forward to the new eps that are coming out next year. I REALLY wanna see what happens after that BLASTED CLIFFHANGER AT THE END OF THE LAST EPISODE!!!

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 09:31 PM

Yes!!! The third ep was by far the greatest. Their Moriarty was amazing.

The Roze 11-28-2010 09:52 PM

Sherlock!!!!! I love Sherlock

Urchie 11-28-2010 09:52 PM

I think amazing may not quite cover it. He was practically the mirror opposite of sherlock in every detail, including personality. I don't think that had been done before!

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 09:53 PM

Yeah, he really creeped me out. I adore their interpretation of the character.

Magician Girl Mirani 11-28-2010 09:54 PM

Am I the only one that hasn't seen Sherlock? Cuz I'm a LITTLE bit lost here...

Lost in Austen 11-28-2010 09:54 PM

It's a modern-day adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, and it's soooo good! Do you get BBC?
