The glasses shop in Dingwall. Mam said it's called Matsuki! :squee: It'd probably be on Saturday. The guy taht owns the shop seems like he'd be an okay boss and it'd be on Saturdays so it wouldn't be after school which is good since I've barely got any time as it is!
|
Oh yeah, I've seen that shop. Well, I only took note of it cuz the sign has hiragana :)
Nipponji desu! |
I know. I didn't even know that until Mam pointed it out to me cuz I'd never looked at the sign. Mam had been going in to get her glasses fixed and the show owner mentioned that he needed someone. I asked if there was a part time position and he said that he wanted someone to work on satursays with the computers. it's great! it doesn't sound too hard and the work seems like I'll be able to do it.

(Seethes in jealousy) How is it most people I know have managed to get some kind of job, except me! Why does God hate me? What did I do in a past life? Steal from churches and bugger the queen? Or is that going a bit too far?
|
Well I managed to get a job because I was the shop's best customer, and then I did voluntary work there for a year. Then when I turned 14 I started getting paid.
I'm real real real tired now... I think I'm gonna go to bed. Speaking of work, I've got that tomorrow... I get to have sunday free this week at least |
-pats back sympathetically- you'll get something some time. It was just luck that I managed to get anything really. I just need to confirm it with the guy on the Wednesday.
Alright then, G'night Roze" -waves- |
(Sighs) you're right MG. Hopefully i'll find something when I go job hunting during Freshers week!
Night Roze-chat to you later (waves goodbye) |
You'll manage, there's always gunna be a job somewhere, no matter what it is. You just need to find it.
|
That is true-at least I know my timetable now, so I know when I'm available to work. That'll make things a lot easier!
|
Very true. Knowing when you can actually work and balance it with classes is half the battle me'thinks.
|
And I have a fair amount of time on my hands...depending on how big the workload turns out to be, which'll probably be a lot more than what I had last year!
|
Oh yeah...the work get's harder the higher up you go I think. That seems to always be the case.
I gotta go now anyways. SHeesh, even on a weekend Mam won't leave me alone! -rolls eyes- I'll talk to ya tomorrow then. -waves- |
Yes, that is always the case...and it sucks!
(Chuckles) I know that feeling all too well. Won't have to worry about that much after tomorrow though (Smirks). Well, good night MG. I'll chat to you later (Waves goodbye) |
Hello from University Everyone!
How goes things with you guys! |
It. Is. Cold.
Freezing. I think my hands are going to fall off |
ROZE!!!!!! How've you been? Was it today that you had work? How'd it go? I agree, it's WAY too cold today!!!
|
Work was sooooooo busy. I've been doing nothing but play Oblivion since I got back. I'm going to sleep in tomorrow... I must be super tired if I don't even find gate crashing Countess Alessia Caro's dinner party and casting a spell to make everyone naked fun.
|
You're not finding THAT fun...you really ARE tired!!!!!! I'd be laughing my ass off if I was doing THAT!!!
|
The only problem is, the spell affects everyone in the room, so it makes you naked too. And then the guards come rushing in... you can either try and make a run for it or you can just let yourself get caught... only if you get caught you don't have any money to pay the fine so you have to either go to jail or resist arrest. I managed to escape though.
|
Sounds like an interesting part of the game. You're adicted to Oblivion aren't you? What's so good about this game anyway? It's got both you and Alex hooked!
|
Not just the two of us. Cailean's been playing it constantly, and so does my brother and ViolentPeace.
It's just an awesome game :) There's also a quest where you go to a party and you've been hired to kill the other guests, and they all come up with these theories as to who's the murderer... and you can gain their trust and set them against each other |
Hmm...I'll look it up online. Do you create your own character at the beginning and then go on quests?
-grins- that sounds like quite a good quest, definitely would be fun turning them against each other! |
You create a character, and then the game starts off with the amin questline, which is that your character is in prison, but the Emperor is fleeing from assassins and they go through your cell so you can escape. But once you're out of the prison, you cna do whatever you like. You can join guilds, go on quests, explore, anything. The world in Oblivion is huge, with loads of people and lots to do. And then there's the main quest, which is to do with the Emperor's lost son and the Daedra of Oblivion invading.
|
Sounds quite good. You can talk to others that're on at the same time as you can't you? I think I heard that you can do that. You install the program into your computer right?
|
No, it's not a multiplayer. It's not an online game either, it's just a PC game you buy and install.
