My poupee's hair does the same! Most of my hats don't cause an issue with it, luckily. It's small enough that even with the straw summer hats, only the tiniest bit sticks out, so it's not that noticeable. But some hats just look completely insane on her. :lol: But we have "down" hairstyles. Can you imagine how difficult it would be to wear a hat if our poupees had an updo? I mean, at least on Mene you can change your hair for free, so it's not such a big deal if hair pokes through, you can just change styles.

I'll comment ya Cherry! I am sad to see this go...The economy really needed the boost. Ribbons are stupid hard to earn.

They are. Even now with the bonus there is work involved to get all the items that are constantly coming out. I could see it being no problem at all for the "popular" poupees who get tons of comments every day, but it's more difficult for the people who don't glue one million rhinestones to everything they own and/or own no less than five rings shaped like desserts. :lol: My comments are almost exclusively from the people who return every comment, I don't very frequently get a "random" comment. Right now I've got quite a lot of old kath shop items I don't want anymore to sell, and that's netted me a good deal of ribbons, but those ribbons are gone now, and the back log of items almost is too. This is gonna suck. >< I was enjoying the possibility that I could actually get every item that I wanted...

I do have one person that we swap 20 comments every so often. A couple other people that I exchange comments with. I'm grateful for that. If you do need comments, let me know. If I'm in a rush and not returning, I usually just open the recent friend uploads and emote spam my quota. I'd rather give it to someone here though. o': If you don't update, I don't see you. Plus, I'm either too lazy to dig through friends or in a hurry. You don't have to update, though. As long as you don't mind emotes if I'm rushing, leave a profile link. It's easier to find you on here. Cherry for example.

In regards to being "popular." I did talk to someone and she said many friends + updating everyday is the way to go. With 2k+ friends and if only 60-100 comment. You're doing pretty well. Plus updating everyday makes you visible. I agree the glitter, hello kitty, etc. stuff is a given for receiving a crapload of comments.

I'll admit to sometimes seeing something SUPER KAWAII SPARKLES HELLO KITTY DESU at the store and even though I have absolutely zero interest in it, I get tempted to buy it just for the poupee comments it would net me. :lol: Like, seriously, the most popular item I have posted on poupee is a pair of socks. Socks, people. Just because there's some pink KAWAIIII cupcake on it. :rofl: People are weird.

I tend to stagger my uploads for the sake of getting more comments and sutekis on each item, since it gives them more time on my front page. But I guess that's more of a short term plan. You're right, daily uploads would probably help a lot. Luckily I took a butt-ton of pictures yesterday, so I've got a good backlog. I'm also working on retaking/replacing all the old photos in my closet. So much crap. I haven't made much progress, but I completely fixed the Rings portion of my closet and am currently working on bracelets and necklaces. Just a tip for everyone, please don't judge me by anything that wasn't updated recently? :lol: If the background is a book or a gray wall, it's new. If it's teal or anything else, it's old.

I get tempted to comment something if it is Angelic Pretty or Baby the Stars Shine Brightly. :lol:

I'm really going to miss the anniversary campaign. Maybe it's me, but I don't understand why ribbons are so hard to get, you'd think jewels should be more difficult to come by.

I'm going to miss it too. I mean, it was still challenging to get everything you wanted, you still had to work for your items. It's not like it was so easy that things were being thrown into your lap. Now it goes back to being stupid difficult considering how often they release new items. I can't afford a new event every single week if they cut down the ribbon amount. :/ Even during the campaign, the only time I was able to completely be caught up was when I was selling a bunch of old stuff that was now worth a lot.

Exactly! I don't like always feeling beyond belief poor. With the way they have things set up, it almost feels like ribbons are worth more than jewels.

Well, I don't have great luck finding jewel offers that I can do, so I don't feel that ribbons are rarer, but they are pretty difficult to get. Wouldn't be a problem if the shops were like Menewsha's and you had forever to get what you wanted, but everything's limited. ><
