Some of those things were items I was trying to get my hands on but got outbid for because I was slow. XP

I never want to sell or auction my jewel items really. I don't buy jewels anymore, but i used to, and I only spent them on things I really loved. :yes:

Well, the only jewel items I want to get rid of are from the catcher. One is something that I love but that I ended up with two of. It's not even possible for me to use two identical pairs of shoes, so there's no point keeping the dupe. Two others are things that I didn't want and haven't used, so I figured I'd be better off auctioning them and putting the jewels to better use.

I want to get the five catcher item trade in items this month. They are especially nice and cute this month.

Attention, Poupee Girls : Poupee is suspending all jewel catchers by May 31 due to completion gachapon rulings.

I've been getting very frustrated with Poupee because the Dress up page won't load for me anymore! No matter how long I wait or how many times I refresh my page, it never comes up. The site's layout will load, it's just the actual Dress Up portion and my inventory that stay blank. :-/

This might just be it for my involvement in poupee. It's gotten fairly boring this past year and I'm not very active on it anyway.

Have you tried a different browser, Knerd?

I keep trying to be active on poupee, but it's a bit hard for me. Items are released so rapid fire that it feels like I'm always in a mad rush to get everything that remotely interests me. And so few people will actually talk to you there. :/ I mean, I found some very lovely people who would leave actual thought out comments on my posts, but that'd be, like, three people. and who can blame the rest when making comments is such a chore.

I like a lot of the items, I like being able to choose my layering, but ultimately I don't have a lot of fun on Poupee. I just often feel my time is better spent elsewhere.

Seems interesting and I love dress up games, so might as well give it a try.

I know that when I go to the library and try to go to the dress up page on poupee, it takes five or even ten minutes for things to load.

At home, though, it loads only a few seconds longer than other pages.

I still love it. :oops: I guess because I'm more interested in the dressup, seemingly unlimited items, and layering.

I like that too, it's just all the tedious stuff you have to do to get the items that bugs me.

Yeah, it seems to be an issue with both Chrome and Firefox. It's a shame, but I'm not exactly crying myself to sleep over it. I've accomplished pretty much everything I wanted to on the site and the process of buying even more items has lost its appeal.

Maybe i'll start selling my stuff off little by little over there. Then if my problems with the Dress Up page don't get any better over time, I'll slip some ribbons to each of you guys. ;)

I think I have heard of poupee users who had issues getting their inventories to load once they got a high amount of items.

If you have an adblocker or anything of the sort, I assume you checked to make sure you didn't accidentally block the dress up applet, right?

If it's not there, the only other thing I could think of would be to delete the browser you use the least frequently and reinstall it.

It's been happening for a while now and I've only been able to load it randomly, perhaps once a week. Something about my computer doesn't seem to like the site but there's no logical reason behind why it suddenly stopped loading or will occasionally still work. :no:

Hmm, that's weird. The only other thing I can think of is making sure that your Flash is up to date, but I'm sure it is, and clearing your cache. I'm stumped!

Yeah. Make sure your browser and plug-ins are up to date, and maybe delete history and cache and defragment.

Then check you have not blocked the items, and try again.

Maybe your problem is the size of your inventory.

At this point, it could very well be the size of my inventory. (Even after the page stopped loading for me, I've continued to buy stuff from the shops. :sweat:)

If that's the case, selling and shelling my stuff should help a little. We'll see if I can reduce my inventory to only the stuff that I actually wear! It's just tough to sell things on poupee right now, everyone is too busy saving up their own ribbons to buy June Bride items. :lol:

I don't see the point in shelling out tons of ribbons for the wedding dresses when most poupee users wear them only during this event. Last year they had a dress I liked a lot, so I bought that one, just to get me through all the future events. I don't plan on buying another, really. :lol:

Does anyone have any idea what the "exclusive" ribbon items mean?

Are they time limited or number limited or "can not sell"?

They do not seem to have any of those indications on them at all, but are "exclusive" -- as in the announcement said that this was our only chance to get them.

How are they different from any other stuff? Is it just Jewel quality in the Ribbon section?

Knerd, did you get anything from this year's rainy event? I missed buying the Katharine shop stuff from it, but it may not be released yet.

This year's rainy event is still in the stores, Angel.

How are people getting on with the shell spring items? I got 2 of the princess kimonos, the guy's clothes, the shoes, the wrap thing and the stick. It was the stick that I really wanted, and that was the last thing that I got before I ran out of shells, typical :lol:

I liked last year's youngest princess outfit better. Too bad I think I will never get it.

I might try for this years. I do have a pile of shells.

I don't like any of the new shell spring items, really. The flat shoes with the stars are kinda cute, but eh. I'm just going to take advantage of this to sell my shells at a much higher price than normal, and maybe I'll buy the shoes off the furima in a few days if they get really cheap. That's what I usually do with the shell spring limiteds. With few exceptions, it ends up being more worth your ribbon to sell your shells at the increased price and buy the item! :lol:
