((My friend was just suspended for P.D.A. Her and her boyfriend were JUST kissing eachother goodbye and they got suspended for a week.))
Kennedy smiled at the boy and pretended to be interested in his cheesy pick up lines. 'Thank god.' she thought when Daniel pushed the boys away from them. She flipped the page and drew yet another random shape which turned into a baby. She looked up at the board when she noticed the boy from a few minutes ago wink at her. She rolled her eyes and went back to work. |
Auria jumped when she heard Daniel's voice. She smirked as he got onto mainly the guy that was flirting with her. The guy passed her his number and she forced a smile as she took it, only to throw it away later. She grinned at Daniel and moved her sketchbook back infront of her, flipping it over to look at the picture. Her eyes grew wide and she blushed deeply, flipping the picture back over. She cleared her throat and looked at Daniel, her eyes gesturing to her sketchbook. She looked at Kennedy, "So um.. what do you have next?" she asked, trying to get her mind off the picture.
Kennedy looked up from her sketchbook for a few brief seconds.
"Astronomy." she said before going back to the drawing of the baby. "You?" |
Auria smiled at her. "Choir." she replied, going to get the clay out from her private lessons. She made another rose petal, making sure she remembered how to do it. She wiggled her ankle slightly and winced in pain, she reached down to it and closed her eyes. Sighing she sipped her drink and made a few more petals.
((Meh.... short post.)) |
((thats okay))
Kennedy gazed at the rose petal that Auria had been making. "That's perfect!" she said in awe. |
Auria blushed and smiled at her. "Thank you, I learned from Daniel." she told her, not mentioning the private lessons. "I think he's going to teach me to make a base soon." she said, smiling at Daniel. She played around with the clay when she was done with the petals. She handed some to Kennedy incase she wanted to mess with some.
Before they knew it the bell rang, for class to be over. They had a few mintues to get to their second class. She tore the page out of her sketchbook and placed it on Daniel's desk. "See you at lunch?" she asked quietly so no one would hear. After he answered, she limped off to her choir class. |
Kennedy smiled and took the clay. She opened the page of her sketchbook up to the puppy she had recently been drawing and started sculpting it. She made a perfect head and front legs, but then threw it away, hoping nobody would notice. She walked to astronomy and sat in boredom as they learned of different constellations.
In choir, Auria was still thinking about the picture she had drawn in class that day. She still sang perfectly on key, even her solo, though she was not paying attention. The class seemed to drag on forever.
((AHHHHH SHORT POST!!)) |
"Yes, see you at lunch." He waves goodbye to her and just leans back in his chair, closing his eyes, waiting for the second class to begin. Second period comes and goes without any problem, and finally lunch arrives. He begins heating up some food quickly, constantly thinking about Auira--he just couldn't get her out of his head, no matter how hard he tried. 'Maybe this is true love.' he thinks to himself, allowing thoughts as such to creep into his head.
Choir finally ended and Auria rushed to the art room. She knocked on the door and peered in like she usually did. She smiled when she saw him sitting at his desk. "Good afternoon Daniel." she told him, still pretending like a student. She closed the door behind her and smiled when she realized that the doors of the school did not have windows in them. She had, yet again, brought her lunch with her.
((Sorry it took me a while, I'm folding my clothes.)) |
"Good afternoon, Auria." He looks up from his lunch at her, smiling. "How was Choir?" He makes small talk as he works on a drawing out of boredom. The stereo was playing another rocking, speeding thrash metal song, this time about the singer's mother and father. Daniel doesn't say anything else though, slightly embarrassed from last night. [[dohohohoho]]
[[sorry for short post, chopping up veggies for stir-fry]] |
Auria smiles and walks over to him. "Oh same old same old." she replied laughing softly as she pulled up a chair. "Do re mi fa so la ti do." she sang as she sat down next to him. She pulled off her boot and inspected her ankle. "The swelling went down she said, looking at him with a smile. She did not mention the night before either, but she did lean over and kiss him lightly on the lips.
"Your singing is beautiful." He replies, closing his eyes as she sings, a warm feeling filling him. Then his eyes open as she kisses him. "Uh..." He says awkwardly, not sure how to respond, so eventually he kisses her back for lack of what else to do. "So, the swelling has g-gone down...if it's still hurt tomorrow, I want you to take the day off, okay?" He says to her, a look of concern on his face. "You're everything to me, and I hate to see when you're in pain." He says, looking down at his shoes. "Don't worry about anything, I'll take care of it."
Auria smiled at him. "I'll be fine in a few days." she told him softly, feeling like she over-stepped the boundaries when she kissed him. "Sorry.." she said quietly, getting out her food. She took a bite and looked around the classroom awkwardly now.
He sighs and looks around. "Auria, um...please refrain from, you know, PDA until our private lessons. In fact, we can even move the lessons to my dorm permanently if you wish. I just...I don't want anyone seeing us. You know." He sighs and reaches out a hand, touching her face gently with his long, dexterous fingers. "You know I love you, but...that's why I said this would be hard if it did work." He looks at the door. "Anyone could walk in right now and see this, so that's why..." He takes his hand away from her face, beginning to eat his lunch.
Auria nodded slowly then paused. "Y-you.... you love me?" she asked softly. She knew that he had said it before but she didn't know if he had just said it because of the moment or if he ment it. She looked at him questioningly before looking back at the door to make sure no one came in.
"Yes, Auria. I love you." He looks into her eyes, blinking occasionally. "With all my heart, I do. Last night made me realize something...I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know..." He looks away, through the window, at the outside. "I know that it's too soon to tell such things for sure...but...I know in my heart." Some kids are outside, throwing snowballs at each other, some of them able to be recognized from his class. The light casts that same whitening glow on them as it did yesterday, making him look almost like a god, or at the very least a perfect statue.
Auria's eyes went to the picture she drew earlier. "Maybe my drawing's tell the future..." she whispered softly. She looked at him in awe, admiring how gorgeous he was. She knew that she loved him as well but she didn't know how to say it. She was scared. She had never felt this way for any guy she dated and here she was, falling in love with her teacher. The picture she had drawn in class was of them, under the same tree from the previous drawings only this time there were flowers and she was in a flowing white dress while he was in a tuxedo, glove on one had. They were in a sweet embrace.
He looks at her drawing and smiles. "That's very good, Auria." He catches the meaning and looks out the window again, thinking for a little bit, then asks her "...Auria. You know how I feel about you...but...do you feel the same way about me? Or am I just an instrument of your pleasure?" He doesn't intend the last line to be so bitter, but it comes out as such as his left hand rubs his right wrist, massaging it. And, in a quiet voice, he says "Sorry, but...I have to make sure this time."
Auria looked at the picture then looked at him. "I do Daniel..." she said quietly. "I do love you..." she told him, looking directly into his eyes. "I would never use you for pleasure. If I were like that you wouldn't have broken through anything last night...." she whispered to him. "I let you have me." she added softly.
"...I see." He says, exhaling slowly. "Sorry. I just had to make sure." He says, smiling at her, his heart beating out of his chest. "Maybe one day I'll tell you why, but...until then, just trust me." He picks up her drawing, finally understanding completely what her earlier ones were. "Your drawings yesterday and the day before...that figure was me, wasn't it?"
Auria smiled and shrugged slightly. "I'm really not sure, I suppose it was you because this is the same tree." she said softly. "I really didn't know who it was in the other pictures." she told him, also looking at the picture in his hands.
The picture in his hands appears to have a similar theme to her earlier ones, though he was drawing it on purpose. The picture looks into the window of a house, the living room furnished lavishly with electronics and paintings. Auria is visible painting on an easel, her back toward Daniel, who sits on a chair next to the window, looking out. The light shining in illuminates one side of his body, casting the other side into darkness. Daniel notices her looking at his drawing and smiles at her. "It doesn't mean anything, don't worry. Well, I don't think it does." he adds, after thinking for a second. "Anyways, Auria, the private lessons for tomorrow are canceled on premise of me not being here. I apologize." he says, quickly changing the subject.
Auria smiled and looked at him. "May I as why?" she asked, looking a little sad that she would not be able to see him tomorrow night. She knew that as a teacher he would have business to attend to so she didn't press it. She soon finished her lunch and threw it away. "What were you going to say to me this morning?" she asked, remembering that he had started to say something before he realized that Kennedy was in the room.
"Personal business to attend to and all of that, you know." He says, rather vaguely, as he leans back in his chair, looking at the clock. "It's not just this week, either. It's every week. Just thought I should let you know." He smiles at her. "There's nothing huge to worry about, it's something I've had to deal with for awhile now." He drops a few hints, but doesn't say directly. "As for this morning, well, I was just going to ask if perhaps you'd want another 'study session' tonight. You know, before I had to go."
