My mom loved these dolls the moment I introduced them to her and wants one, too. I had the first doll jitters when planning to get the CP Chiwoo Elf but impulsively bought the DZ Ian when he was released instead. No jitters there, it was lurve at first sight for him. XP lol.

Yeah, going to take longer than the fourty-five days so took down ticker. (Just realized payment hasn't officially gone through yet :gonk: -shakes fist at paypal-)

Bought second doll today.. though so.. -does a little dance- xD She's a cute AoD Tiny, Ni Ni mold.Her payment went through instantly though .. >..> SO Yeah...

Hehe.. sorry I'm in a complainy mood today because of that.. it's been a week since I put the paypal payment through.. and money is out of my account... it won't be in hers until two days from now.

I'm more of a fan of 1/3 and 1/4 dolls myslef

Saria - yeah, I'm more into the 1/3 and 1/4 dolls, too. Mostly because they look more grown up, but I want a couple lil kid type dolls, so I've gotta keep an eye out for the right sculpts.

YoSD's are adorable enough for me to love.. Though I am also fond of SD13's, which my adult/full grown char's will be if I manage to get more than these two.. MSD's for my smaller char's, though I only have a few that would be that size.

YoSD's are reserved for girls (or boys dressed as girls) to dress up in frilly dresses and such.. xD

I thought my mom was okay with me buying the dolls but the other day she looks to me while we walk passed the barbie aisle and ask why I can't buy those instead, 'they're so much cheaper' in her words. I was never really interested in dolls when she bought me barbies as a kid - only played with them when my friends wanted to play with them. I was more partial to horse figures but she never bought those for me.

I hope when she actually sees the dolls she'll realize why I'm so interested, and not just in the pictures I shown her (though she did think Ni Ni was sweet).

My mom is kinda the same way. Her classic responce now is "God, remember what a hard time we went through trying to get her to play with dolls? She liked all the little creatures they came with!"
Plus, your buy a big @$$ doll made out of good plastic that can take a beating. Unlike Barbie, who's head can come off with a little time and effort.

Yeah, I was looking through the barbie aisle to see if I can find something cheap to dress my Ni Ni in when she arrives because it'll be foolish to order something to this address .. (the dolls are to be hand delivered by local company so I can keep in touch with her on what address to come to) though I was foolish to think of after the fact I bought her a wig. :lol:

Now I'm trying to get him to send it to my neighbour who'll accept it on my behalf and hold it until I can pick it up. Only he hasn't replied to my second message and merely left feedback to me instead. :?

But onto the Barbie story.. I hadn't realized they were starting to attempt something similar to abjd's by giving them flexible joints. I noted that the elbow joint is the closest to a balljoint that it can be. Can't say for the hips at all. Was weird to see. :lol:

Lol it's a good place to look for cheap clothes. Actually I do that from time to time for props that I can use with my DZ Hid. >w<

I really really want some of those dolls! They are gorgeous! I've been looking at a number of websites trying to find the perfect dolls for what I want and I've found a good lot of them, but I'm afraid they'll all sell out before I can afford them D:

Yeah build a bear I found some cool accessories that would be the right size for my Impldoll SD, one of them being a sellphone, but they also have some cool sunglasses.. I'll be getting him the 'female' looking ones. (He's openly gay, so he won't mind :lol:)

I was looking at Build-a-Bear for clothing as well - obviously with need to be altered, so.. Not sure. Barbie clothing is cheaper and I'm looking for my AoD Tiny. XP

They should both be arriving to me around the same time. :XP

Cerulean, If you're not getting a Limited Edition doll they won't be 'sold out' if you're ordering from a dealer they may have sold out which means you just have to wait for the production time on top of shipping times. That's about it.. If it's a Limited though, that may be the case. :XP Others will probably still be there for you to order by the time you have the money saved up.

What Rusa up there said. Limiteds are mean though. TwT they tempt you and then go 'ha ha I'm already sold out in your face' and then you cry. It's a very very mean thing indeed. Corbidoll is evil about that as is Dream of Doll. Those two just like teasing you. (I love both and I am only joking)

Oh oh and my Makrua is openly gay too. Not to that extent though. >w> he's one of those gay guys that you won't realize is gay until he tells you.

I love their body.. and the naughty bits for boys.. xD Probably to a well bestowed char of mine.. :XP But I love the Doll Family molds as well... -sigh- I don't even have my first two and I'm eyeing more... not til next year I'm afraid though.. If I get some money it's going towards a camera. :lol: Even if Doll Family is nicely priced... even their 75cm boys don't go over $400. (Wow.. I never thought I'd think that was cheap)

I got my first ball-jointed doll. She is beautiful, I can't wait to get a sewing machine so I can make clothes for her. Currently she is wearing a knitted dress, that I made for her but I would like to make her some normal clothes as well.

My second doll will eventually be coming from Dragon Doll, hopefully if shit goes they way it's supposed to anyway.

I'm curious, do any of you have more floating heads than full dolls, or am I alone in this? XD;

I was about to have floating boddies instead of heads.
This is how it was going to start, I thought ahead and now the plan is to give the body to my friend.
BUt pretty much I'm getting a new body for my only guy Nathan. Now I would end up with a spare body floating around so I thought I would buy a new head for it....then the body would annoy me again so I would get that head a new body and the process would start all over again....so I'm just giving the body to my friend so she can have a 60cm doll ^_^
