Well hello, I'm a newbie here and I'm still trying to get to know the game. I know this is kinda the "newbie type thread" but oh well, everyone is a newbie somewhere in his/her life I think.

I find the concept of this site strange and interesting. It looks like a very dynamic community with very great graphic and artwork. It's different from common pet sites where since customisation here on Menewsha looks nearly infinite with the possibilities. :shock:

I played a couple of games, I hope there will be more in the future. I also read that another way to earn gold is to post message... well let's say this message is a try. Isn't there spamming sometimes if writing and posting messages is a way to earn gold? What restrains someone to just copy and paste large blocks of text just to get gold?

Well, I'll just go read rules, do's and don't of this great community and problably come back to rant more.

You figured out all that stuff on your first visit here, while when i just got here i was dead lost and couldnt even figure out what i was even doing.......

Well, other then all that im new myself even though i've played for about 3days :sweat::drool:
and even though i've played for 3days im still kind of lost and you've already picked up the game like you've played it forever :D well, besides that why dont you tell us about yourself, what are your hobbies? what do you like to do when you've got nothing else to do?

Mmmm about myself...
I'm French (so excuse any typos, mistakes, strange sentences or misplaced words)

My main hobby is LARP (Live Action Role-Play) that I do mostly in the summer months. I do that since nearly 10 years now and I have a pretty big collection of custumes, armors, wigs, etc. So much that I have a wardrobe only for my costumes and props... and I'll probably get a whole entire room in my next house for that and my precious sewing machine.

Also, I like to watch animes, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, etc.
I often visit to a comic website named Drowtales too that publish a free webcomic with everyday updates and there is a pay section with fan service, challenge and visual role-play. It's a very good comic that I recomment to everyone.

I also like computer games like Lord of the Rings online, or Playstation games, I really like the Valkyrie Profile and Final Fantasy ones.

Well, there really is no reason for my name happydeath...i guess i just like how it sounds;)
Don't worry about the typo thing that happens to me sometimes because im vietnamese....:)
I like anime/mangas too i basicly watch every anime out there but my two favs so far are naruto (shippuden) and bleach.....;)
I also like roleplaying games as well....i play only a few computer games like grand chase and 9dragons.....other than that i usually get on my xbox 360.....and i only really play DMC(devil may cry) ;)

I played Devil May Cry a couple of times in the past, it's a great game! the gameplay makes me think of Dirge of Cerbereus... or maybe Dirge of Cerbereus is inspired of Devil May Cry :)

Thank you Rainbows for all this information, it's always good to know how this gold earning works. I'm not use to this kind of communities... well it's the first time I see we can actually gain the currency by typing messages. I'm glad to know that moderators are good and present.

As for my English, thank you very much. I'm a very good writer in French and I hate people making mistakes so I put the bar pretty high in my writing in other languages. Well call that too perfectionist.

I thought the DMC series came out first right? so if that were the case then maybe Dirge of Cerbereus was another version of DMC.....but final fantasy was a good series as well....now that you mention it i feel like playing final fantasy X...lol:D:rofl:

Yes, Devil May Cry came out way before Dirge of Cerbereus, but well Vincent Valentine being a shooter, the game play kinda had to be similar; it was a good receipe so why not using it for another game!

Final Fantasy X was.... ok I think, the X-2 is just plain awful (pink girl power is just not my thing I guess)
I think my favorite overall is the VII, I really like the story and i just had loads of fun with the dating event... hehe dating Barret, just too crazy.

Final Fantasy X2 was terrible...thats why i never played it! LOL:XD
because just the fact that you have to transform just to use white magic or black magic was enough to ruin the game for me......

Welcome from another newbie! :P I also agree, one post and you have the idea. :D And very good english. I doubt you'll have sentences that are that strange.

Yay! Go Dirge! One of my fave games! :D And a sewer (I kinda don't think that's a word tho)! Although I'd bet you're better than me since I've made a grand total of 3 kimono's, 2 dresses, a jacket, and a few unfinished shirts.

Anyways, short version, glad you're here!
