Gluttony followed Yuin's lead, pressing close to the door in order to hear the conversation. She held back an amused snicker, cupping her hands in front of her mouth, knowing full well that Greed could be just as scary--if not more so--than Wrath when upset. But more importantly, she was having too much fun trying not to get caught.
|
Yuin smiled at Gluttony. Then he listened to what they were saying. It was something about Pride, but he could not understand very well.
|
((OH NO, SO sorry for my long absence! I had typed up a reply DAYS ago, but evidently it never posted! *glares at Mene*))
Riza looked up at Mustang and let a small frown cross her face at the small signs of stress that she spotted. To the casual observer, he was just as relaxed and in control as ever, but she had worked with him for too long to not notice the bit of tension around his eyes, the stubborn set of his mouth. "I take it the meeting did not go as well as you might have hoped?" she said lightly. |

I hope, he added mentally. "The colonel was just as infuriating as usual. Apparently, though, he'll be nearby while we're in West City. He assures me that he won't interfere, but..." Another sigh, a whispered swear, and a groan. "And what Lt. Havoc mentioned doesn't help things either. It's just...all too coincidental," Roy murmured, suddenly falling deep in thought. His brow furrowed, creasing his features as he scrutinized the information in his mind. "A woman I've never heard of just happens to call and warn me of the West City commander the day before we're to set off? I don't think so...something's up..." ((OOC: Lol, no problem. It's happened to me a few times, too ^^)) |
Yuin crawled past Greed's door and waved for Gluttony to follow. Even though Yuin wanted to stay and listen, he knew that Gluttony would get bored or something. So Yuin kept on moving so that she wouldnt give them away.
|
Gluttony noticed Yuin moving and watched him with a questioning gaze momentarily before following closely behind. She glanced back at Greed's door one last time, quickly turning her attention to the mission ahead.
"Where are we going now?" she asked in a hushed tone. |
"Hmmm maybe we could spy on Wrath... or maybe keep on spying on Greed... your pick." He said this whispering. Then he remembered something in his pocket. It was a chocolate. "Here." He gave Gluttony the chocolate and then waited for her to answer.
|
Gluttony softly squealed happily as she took the chocolate Yuin offered and tossed it in her mouth. She smiled brightly and quickly ate the delicious sugary treat, replying in a whisper, "Thank you...!"
She then paused and gave the ultimatum some thought...well...attempted to. Then, nodding in conclusion, she answered, "Wrath may be scary to spy on, but it also might be a lot of fun...as long as we don't get caught. If we do...well..." Cringing, she decided not to finish her sentence, allowing Yuin to come up with his own ideas of the consequences. |
"Ok so if we dont get caught. I will buy you some chocolate. If we do get caught.... I will take care of Wrath." He smiled. He knew just how to get rid of that little boy. He asked," So he is in the basement right... so that means we have to go downstairs and then through the living room, and then through that door... I think."

((Hey guys, start wrapping up conversations. We're going to be doing the time warp to the next day soooooon-ish! :3)) |

((OOC: Umm...Zovi, just a little reminder. Wrath's a girl--totally different from the old one :3)) |
(( I am soo sorry I keep on thinking its little wrathy poo..))
Yuin smiled, "Yea she is playing with them." He walked down the steps and then to the living room. He opened the door a crack to see Wrath and the alchemists... "Oh boy." He said. |
"Will do, Greed. Just don't actually take that comment seriously..." Envy said with a snicker at Greed's "dying' comment. Either way i'd better not tie up the phones anymore, who knows could be getting a call from the Flame Alchemist himself..." she snorted and sighed. "I'll talk to you tomorrow."

Gluttony peeked into the crack in the door as well, cringing slightly as she saw Wrath "playing" with the alchemist. She looked around, taking in some of the other alchemists' expressions, the ones that were cowering in the back of the room. She watched as Wrath kicked around an alchemist, growling angrily as she did so. Kick. "You call yourselves alchemists?! You're pathetic!" Wrath hissed, assaulting the alchemist with just enough force to injure--not kill--him. "What a waste of time!" Another kick. "I shouldn't have to spend my time playing servant to Greed, doing her bidding! That idiot, doesn't she realize the trouble she's causing by keeping all of you around?! I should just get rid of you all and save our master some trouble!!!" Yet another kick. "It's all your fault! All your fault!!!" |
Yuin wanted to go down there and stop Wrath but he knew that she would beat him up. Yuin sat there with Gluttony. This is why Wrath is not my favorite. he thought. Wrath kicked the alchemists at least 15 times. Yuin cringed every time that she kicked them. He looked at Gluttony and then back at Wrath. "Well someones upset," he whispered to Gluttony.

"Better him than me..." she whispered, a hint of guilt in her voice as she watched on. "But I don't wanna watch anymore. Let's go back and spy on Greed, okay?" Her voice was sad, almost pleading. |

Staying silent for a few moments, Greed stared at the door before letting out a bored sigh. --- Central City... Unsurprisingly, Denny Bloch had been awaiting Ross' return to the Investigation department quite worriedly after she had been called to the Fuhrer President's office without explanation. He hurried toward her as she approached, his brow creased slightly in concern, a multitude of questions spilling from his lips as soon as she was within earshot. "What did she want? Are you in trouble? Does she need-" He fell silent as Ross held up her hand. "I've been assigned a mission, Lt. Bloch," she said, "And I am enlisting your help. Do you accept?" A delighted grin lit the young man's face. "Of course, I- I mean, yes sir!" he said, giving a sharp salute. Ross nodded. "Right. We'll be working with Colonel Hienrich. I'll brief you on the mission in his office." --- "What do you mean he's gone?" Ross said, her eyebrow twitching slightly in annoyance. "We were supposed to meet him back here." "Ah... he went out for coffee with Lt. Fuery," one of Hienrich's subordinates told her. The black-haired woman pinched the bridge of her nose, sighing in exasperation. "Where, exactly?" "A bar... I'm not sure," the man said, looking confused. "Didn't the colonel give you one of his vials?" Now that she thought about it, Ross did remember him slipping her something... she dug it out of her pocket, staring down at it, her eyebrow raised slightly. "What am I supposed to do with this?" "Maybe you're supposed to open it?" Denny suggested, a sheepish smile crossing his face. Ross looked at it with narrowed eyes for a second before slipping it back into her pocket. "Who knows what's in this vial? We can find them on our own. The colonel and Lt. Fuery couldn't have gotten too far." With a turn on her heel, she started through the labyrinth of hallways to the outside. |
Riza nodded her agreement. "I think we have to assume the worst in every case. Assume the Colonel will interfere, and keep a watch out for his spies and potions. Assume we can't trust the West City Commander or any of her subordinates, and not tell any of them any more than we have to about our investigation." She paused and gave him a grim smile. "We should consider ourselves on our own on this one... trust no one." She shrugged. "Just like the old days."
|
"Sounds like a good idea," Roy replied with another sigh, flashing a sliver of an appreciative smile her way. He stood from his chair and quickly patted down his uniform, turning to Riza and continuing, "We just have to be prepared for anything, which brings us to our next topic. It's getting a bit late. We should probably go back and pack our things, make sure everything is ready for tomorrow. Also, we should probably acquire some maps of the area, as well as any tabloids or reports on the matter that haven't made their way to the Fuhrer's intel. Perhaps we should pay Sheska a visit, see if she's read anything over the matter..."
He gazed at the door and then glanced back at his desk, the piles of paperwork still sitting in neglect. Smiling, he commented, "It's a shame. I'll have to hold off on those until I return." With that, he walked over to Riza and stood at her side as he waited for her to prepare to leave. |

"Believe me, if I could, I'd treat these papers as top priority. But, unfortunately, that's not the case," Roy defended, trying his hardest to feign disappointment although he knew full-well that Hawkeye would see through it. He glanced at her, smiled slightly, and continued, "As for Sheska, I'll leave the decision up to you. I wouldn't want you going out of your way. I'm sure you have much to do to prepare--packing your things, finding someone to watch Black Hayate--but if you feel up to it..."
He walked up to his door, inclining his head in a gentlemanly manner as he held it open for her. |
Sable looked up at the scenery as it began to change. "I'm so excited. i haven't been out of the mansion in so long!" she said smiling and looking about brightly trying to brush her bangs from her face.
**** West City Envy hung up the phone and looked about. She sighed and fixed her hair and slipped back into the personality that everyone here knew, after all, it wouldn't do to have someone find the West City Commander acting like someone other than herself. Sighing she began to do her paperwork, easilly whipping through it. |
"Dont worry I wanna go too." He grabbed Gluttony hand and closed the door. He let go of her hand and walked into the kitchen. "Well we have no more chocolate and since we did not get caught I promised chocolate... soo we have to go buy some. Let me get my coat."
|
"Um..." Gluttony stalled, glancing hesitantly back in the direction of Greed's office. She fidgeted and replied, "Shouldn't we go ask Greed? She doesn't like it when I leave the house without her permission. I wouldn't want to make her mad."
|
"Ok why dont you ask her... she likes you better." He smiled and sat on the staircase. "I will wait for you here. If she says no we will find something else to do." He started to bite his fingernails.
