He thought and thought, but couldn't find an answer. He sat there, looking at the fire then he stood and went to order everyone to sleep. After that was done, he came back to the parlor and then left to the library to read any book he grabbed.
Soon, he fell asleep with a book in his hands. |
she awoke soon after to find her self still sitting by the window she tisked lightly to self and went over to the large bed. she climbed in and blew out the candle before she fell back asleep.

It was the next morning and the beast woke up and stretched his arms and put away the book.
"Good morning sun..."he said walking out of the library to the parlor. He then glanced at the Kitchen, he knew Belle would be there. "She SHOULD be there." he said walking to the kitchen. He looked around an noticed Belle was not there. "Where's Belle!"he yelled. "We figure she might still be sleeping." said one of the servants. "Go get her!"he ordered. "Right away sir." said the servant as she went to go get Belle. |
Belle was up and dressed in her room she was simply brushing the tagnles out of her hair, when the servant knocked on her door. she turned towards it" come in" She said cheerfully putting the brush down she worried that she had awoken to late. she hoped no one was displeased.

The servant entered.
"The lord is calling for you to go to your post. He's quite angry..."she said setting the alarm on Belle's clock. "There we go...this won't happen anymore...I'm sure of that.."she said cheerfully. "Come now dear."she added opening the door for Belle. |
she nodded and her face paled a tad she did not want to displease him. she walked briskly " were is my post?" She asked the servant she had no clue after all.

"You work in the kitchen with us today dear...all you do is clean it up. nothing more dear..."she said. They entered the kitchen and the servant bowed lightly as she left to her post.
"You're late Belle..."said the beast glaring at her. "What took you so long?"he added walking to her slowly with his hands behing his back. |
She nervously stammered out her apology " I..I"m sorry M'lord i must have over slept" She said curtsying to him. in truth she hadn't known what was the correct time to wake up at so it was a tad unfair for him to be displeased with her. however she did not say this in fear of angering him further.

"I'll let you slide for today...let this be the last time it happens." he instructed. Then he looked at everyone, and left rapidly.
"Don't worry dear...he doesn't hate you...come let us clean." said one servant who handed her a mop and bucket. |
she nodded and got to work immediately, she was done fairly quickly. she was used to doing chores back home...well quit frankly all of the house hold chores all her sisters did was feed the live stock and most days belle did that her self.

"You're quiet fast dear, why don't you do the dishes next." said the same servant doing her part of the dishes as she spoke. The beast sat in the parlor and stared at the floor.
"Humph!...I'm dreadfully bored!"he said standing up. He then walked to a mirror and stared at himself. "I have no friends...everyone hates me....I scare society..."he whispered to his reflection. |
She nodded " OK' She said as she started on the dishes she fell into a kind of rhythm as she worked.

The servants all washed and dusted and cooked.
The beast howecer, was still telling himself things in the mirror. "It's hopeless...even though the castle is big I have nothing to do!"he said. He turned and noticed a piano. "Hmm...it won't hurt to resume..."he said sitting at the black piano and playing a song..."Silent Hill" to be exact. |
she gave a light involuntary shudder at the creepy music, so he really is creepy through and through she thought to her self as she finished up with the dishes " what would you like em to do next?" She asked the servant next to her,

"You must go to him and ask him...I don't know what he would like you to do..."she replied drying her hands and preparing some toast.
The beast played the song and felt at ease he had forgotten there were other people in the house. |
she sighed and nodded. she walked out into the hallway, she walked slowly a little hesitant she thought him to still be in a bad mood with her from this morning after all. she stopped at the door to the study and knocked lightly not wishing to disturb him.

The music stopped.
"Come in!"he called. He sat there at the piano and stared at the door. |
she took a breath and opened the door " M'lord I have finished with the kitchen is there anything else you would like me to do?" she asked him taking a step into the study.

He stood up as she entered.
"I see, that was fast. I guess you are done for today, unless you want to cook?"he said raising an eyebrow. "I would say that you get familiar with the place...the choice is yours Belle."he added quietly and mysteriously. |
she curtsy ed to him " thank you M'lord I believe I shall get to know my way around the castle a bit" She said before rising up. it only made sense since this was now her home

"Do as you wish Belle...It won't bother me..."he said resuming to play the piano. He played the same creepy song again.

she curtsied again before she left : Thank you M'lord" she said again leaving the room. she walked down the hallway wondering were she would go first.

He nodded absently and continued playing.
"Have fun Belle..."he whispered. |
she did not hear his whisper as she had already left the room. she paused at the top of some stairs and idly wondered down them, she came to the bottom and traveled down a hallway with many paintings on the walls.

He sighed, and stopped playing and left the room. He stared at Belle and quickly disappeared before she could see him
"What is she doing to me?!"he cried turning his hands into fists. |
