Oh! While in the shower my mind was suddenly remembered that i had a longer history between Zachary and Cya (it makes a lot of sense, but it was kinda long so i didn't put it. And now, thanks to the all-knowledgeable shower, I remember it again! wanna hear it?

No. >:3 I'm just kidding! Ok, lemme see how to start it.

So before Zachary was in the military he lived in a city somewhere in Drachma with his wife and six-year-old daughter, Cynara (haha, you can already tell, can't you ;D). His job was one that required him normally going away for a long time and returning back (he helped out merchants and stuff). So one time he left for about a month and upon returning, found his home city totally in ruin, burned to the ground. Of course, his family died and he was totally crushed.
He joined the military after that, probably to gain revenge (idk ;D )
After being in the military for over a year or so, he was assigned to a unit that had to burn down a city as part of the war. Following orders, he and the troop did so. And, while the city was burning, there was little Cya. Nameless, homeless, all altogether frightened being that whatever family she had just died.
Now, if you hadn't figured out, she looked just like Cynara (different hair, eyes, skin, but overall the same) to which Zachary just totally caved in.

^^ Actually the story was longer, but this is all i remember thanks to the shower.

Aw man... poor guy!! D: Great backstory though, it really helps explain more about the characters' personalities and whatnot.

Sorry you guys are in a sad mood, but that's how my story went. And yes, i though it was a good back story too... it started when i wanted to think of new characters and started doodling.
