i dunno how active i'll be over the weekend. having two close girlfriends blow me off the day before valentine's day and being depressed this time of year just really made me feel like shit.

(edit) Al's voice is wrong....O_o couldn't get his va i take it. and looks like some of them haven't spoken in their voices (Hues to be specific) in a while. hopefully it'll get better. and....wow....so AU BIG AU.... and the animation is a little weird too. maybe it's because it's newer but it's weird...

I've been watching a bit of the brotherhood already in japanese.

Yeah, the way they draw Armstrong's eyes bother me...and then there have been some VA changes but they've really tried their hardest to keep them as close as possible.

I mean, the reason Alphonse's voice is different is because Aaron went through puberty and his voice is now too deep. But I think the woman they got to voice the new Al is as close as possible...and they could have done worse, right?

I'm not too happy about Elicia's voice...it's not cute enough...but again, they did their best. At least Ed, Mustang, Hughes, Armstrong, Havoc and Hawkeye are the same--and some of the others. That's all that really matters to me :3

And the first episode was fairly entertaining. I must say I liked the scene when Mustang trudges out from the crowd all pissed (and completely drenched) and blows up that giant ice wall. Fun stuffs :P
