Pocky-Chan Practices Shading
 

Title says it all. I realize her eye is huge but this is my first attempt at shading so I needed wide spaces

Placing the wide eye aside, as requested, I think you have the basic Idea behind shading down. However, you appear to have just shaded all the hair(but hair is harder, it follows its own set of rules) and not shaded anything else but the eye. (though it could just be because of camera...I have bad eyes. xP)

Over all think its a decent first attempt at shading, but its still a first attempt. Meaning its not perfect but for a first attempt it is good ^.^

Keep practicing, practice makes perfect.
