" yeah you should have seen him with his cute little puppy dog eyes " Lilly smiled at him teasing him in a funny way

Later that night, Hunter approached Lilly's room, and knocked at the door.

Lilly put on her robe and answered the door it was hunter she moved away from the door to let him in " is something wrong?" she said as she let him in and closed the door behind her

"Well, John is asleep in the guest room, and Snowflake is asleep downstairs. I was hopeing I could spend the night in here? I brought a sleeping bag to sleep on the floor."

" sure no problem " Lilly sat on her bed and looked out side her window the forest was very dark at night she loved that because you could never know what was in it

Hunter placed the sleeping bag on the floor. He then sat next to Lilly. "So how are doing?"

" good besides school anyway ..........umm how are you" lilly turned to look at him she stared deep into his eyes

"Things have been going great. John is starting school and finding love, Snowflake is learning to be a wolf, I'm ver proud of them both." Hunter stared deeply into Lilly's eyes, then gently kissed her on the lips.

Lilly kissed him for a moment and then pulled away once she realized they were no longer together " i......umm do not want to hurt you and i do not want you to hurt me..." lilly wanted to be with him but she felt she couldn't

"I know I have hurt you, but I have also saved you. And you have saved me. Though we may not be married you act like a mother to John and Snowflake. I swear I will never hurt you again. I will not do or say anything to ever hurt you again." Hunter began to tear up, and he hugged Lilly.

Lilly hugged him back she rested her head on his shoulder " i do not know i mean the whole alcord thing left me very hurt and confused"

"He's gone. Gone forever. You never have to be scared again" Hunter whisperd into Lilly's ear.

lilly looked at him she was confused she truly did not know what to do i mean she was still a child only 16 years old

"I will defend you forever. Besides, Snowflake won't stop calling you mommy" Hunter said with a smile.

"but i am not a werewolf nor do i wish to be one " lilly thought of the time he bit her and she became a bit sad

"And I will never make you one. I want you to stay human. You have such natural beauty. I just want to be with you as you are." Hunter hugged Lilly again. Suddenly, Snowflake crept in through the door.

" hey snowflake whats wrong did you have a nightmare or something?" lilly said as she picked her up and placed her on her lap

"Yeah, I had a bad dream. Monsters were chaseing me." Snowflake said with a wimper as she shook. Hunter picked up Snowflake and hugged her. "Shhh, it's ok sweetheart. There are no monsters out to get you, I promise."

lilly smiled at snowflake " i would never let anything bad near you to harm you plus grandma made sure this place was monster proof" lilly pet snowflake's head

"Can I sleep here tonight with you and Daddy?" Snowflake asked in her innocent puppy voice. "Of course you can, Right Lilly?"

" yea sure i do not mind at all, but can we please go to bed now i am very sleepy" lilly yawned and fell back in her bed making room for snowflake

Snowflake curled up next to Lilly as Hunter settled in the sleeping bag. Hunter fell asleep instantly.

Lilly hugged snowflake tight to her chest and soon lilly drifted off into a deep sleep

Hunter woke up the next morning. He kissed Lilly awake, and scratched Snowflakes head. "Morning sleepyheads. Time to get up." Snowflake let out a big yawn.

Lilly pulled the sheets over snowflake and herself " no 3 moe mins its saturday and we want sleep" lilly playfully pushed hunter away
