Ava did not wake up as Shaun came in. She shifted a bit as he laid next to her, resting his hand on her stomach. Her eyes fluttered open at his warm touch. "Hey babe" Ava said groggily.

"How are you feeling?" Shaun asked. "Do you want me to get you anything?"

Ava blinked a few times. Waking herself up as Shaun bombarded her with questions. "I'm alright for the most part. Feeling a bit sick. It is normal now though... Nothing that I can think of for now."

"Ok, I'll leave you be." Shaun closed his eyes and got some rest.

Ava turned over towards Shaun. Laying her head on his shoulder. She fell right back to sleep as soon as she closed her eyes.

Shaun and Ava' phone rang, and Shaun quikly got up to answer it. "Hello? Yeah, Yeah I'll be there." Shaun got dressed, trying to not wake his pregnant wife.

Ava jumped as the phone rang. She did not open her eyes though. Still in a subconscious state. She could hear Shaun talking and stretched a bit, looking at the clock. It was late. "What is going on?"

"Command called up. They need me on a mission. We're attacking an empire base."
|
Ava started to sit up. Holding her stomach. "Please try to come back in one piece."

"I promise. You have nothing to worry about." Shaun leaned down and kissed her. "Besides, I have a family now."

Kiro tossed and turned in his bed, trying to get some sleep, but he couldn't seem to fall into the deep slumber he was hoping for,'Probably from this being my first time I slept in this bed, I'll get used to it... hopefully.' He sat up and turned on the lamp next to him. Sighing, he stood up and put some clothes on, strapping his sword to his belt and walking out of the room. He would wonder around until he got tired, then head back to his bedroom and try to go to sleep again.

Shaun suited up and headed for the hanger. He boarded his mech, and he and the rest of the crew were carried by helicarrier to the enemy base. They were dropped off and Shaun fired long range missles at the base's power generators, destroying them.

Elsa had just about fixed the mech's sheilds as the entire base started to shack uncontrollably. Red lights started to go off as soldiers ran to their mechs. Another shock wave ran through the hanger as Elsa hoped out. "Come on everyone!" She started to scream as mechs were being let loose all around her.
Ava fell back asleep after he left. She hopped she wouldn't be tired throughout her entire pregnancy. Though, at this point... |
Shaun fired rockets at the enemy mechs that came out of the hanger. He sniped the enemy tanks with his 105mm gun.

Kiro stumbled into the wall as the base shook violently. He couldn't see much, with only the flashing red lights to guide him, but he tried to make his way into the hanger. By sheer luck he made it there and saw everyone getting into their mechs and going out to stop the intruders. Looking around, he found his mech and Elsa standing by it. He ran over to her and the mech,"Hey, what happened, who's attacking?" He asked as if he didn't know, but was just simply confirming his suspicions. He unfastened his sword from his belt and handed it to Elsa,"Take care of that, it's worth more than this mech." He climbed into the mech and activated the com link system,"Elsa, get out of the hanger, this place is gonna come down on all of us if they keep shooting." With that, he took the mech and ran out of the hanger, activating his shield as he ran.

Shaun and his squad destroyed the enemy's helicarriers with missle fire. Shaun then opened fire on the hanger with his flamethrower, setting it aflame.

Elsa nodded taking hold of the sword. She could barely hear him over the sounds of battle. Still, she waited, typing into the comp by his mech, allowing him to movement. After the mech detached, Elsa moved back, along with the other mechanics. She felt the heat from the flames against her back as she hit the emergency hatch, dropping down into a safe area. As she entered, a few other started to pat her down. Putting down the small amount of fire that had been on her back. It did not hurt, nor could she feel it.

Shaun took out the last of the smaller mechs with his gernade laucher and 30mm cannon. A large mech charged him, but he cut it down with his chainsaw sword.

Kiro saw the mech that he assumed was leading the assault and charged him, pulling out his sword and holding it to the side. It was his first actual battle, but he didn't feel scared or anything, he felt... happy.

Elsa turned on her headset. "The Leader of the assault is Shaun Worthington. He is one of the union's finest. Watch out for him" Elsa warned Kiro. There was a strong sense of anger in her voice. She was then cut off from him as the signal got too far away. She felt cold towels being pressed to her back. Elsa then knew she must have been burned from the flames. "That bastard..." She muttered to herself.

Shaun looked up and saw an enemy mech charging at him with a sword. He blocked his sword with his chainsaw sword, the sparks nearly blinding him.

Kiro smiled from inside the mech. A simple attack with a sword wasn't all he was capable of. The part of the right forearm on the mech that held the machine gun opened up, reveling the gun. In the next second, he opened fire on the other mech and from the range he was at, there was no way he could dodge any of those bullets.

Shauns mech was riveted with bullets. waring lights went off in his cockpit. Shaun fired his flamefrower right in the face of the enemy mech.

Kiro's eye's opened wide as his mech was sprayed with the fire. He detached his mech from his opponent's, getting out of the range of the flamethrower,'Damn, I wasn't expecting that.' The front of his mech was severely burned and some parts had possibly started to melt. Taking aim once again, Kiro opened fire on the opposing mech as he strafed to the right.

Shaun dodged the fire, and retreated back with his squad. He couldn't continue to fight, his mech had taken too much damage from the sword weilding enemy mech. Shaun and the rest of the squad boarded the helicarrier and fled.
