Shaun finished up his testing for the day. As he was heading back to his room, He was handed a letter. "I'll read it later" he thought to himself. Shaun quietly enterd the room, and layed down next to Ava. He rested his head on her shoulder.

Ava was laying right on her back. She put a hand over Shauns as he came in and laid next to her. "Hello Shaun. How was your day?" Ava asked him, a hint of pain could be heard in her voice.

Shaun smiled. "I just blew up stuff all day." Shaun noticed the pain in Ava's voice. "Are you ok?"

"That sounds great" She said with a small laugh. She ignored his question at first, pausing for just a brief moment. "It just my body. I feel very worn down. Mostly my back is still killing me though." She told him truthfully.

"Here, sit up." Shaun started massageing her shoulders. "Is that better?"
|
Ava nodded. "It does. You shouldn't be doing this though. You had a long day." She said. Trying to protest.
|
"Your the one carrying our children. I just destroy things for a living" Shaun said with a slight laugh.

Ava giggled a bit. Leaning back into him. "We should probably go get dinner... Any way we could get them to bring us something?" Ava asked Shaun. Knowing it probably sounded a bit selfish. She was not up for moving around too much though.

"Not a problem." Shaun went over to the phone and orderd their dinner. It arrived at heir room and Shaun and Ava began to eat. Shaun suddenly rememberd the letter from earlier. He opend it and read it.

Ava looked up from her meal to see Shaun holding the letter. She waited for him to open it before asking anything. "What is it?" Ava asked.

"I'm going out on a mission tomorrow. High command needs the Rex to take out an empire power plant."
|
"Power plant?" Ava repeated. "Must be one of their bigger power sources, right?" She asked him finishing her dinner and cleaning up a bit.

"I guess so." Shaun put his arm around Ava. "I know your worried. But I promise you, I will come back. I will never leave you, or our children." Shaun kissed Ava on the cheek.

"I know you never will" She turned to him. "I just do not want you getting hurt again is all... Getting that call in the resort that day scared me.."

"The Rex is incredibly tough. I won't get hurt this time. I promise not to scare you like that ever again."
|
Ava laughed a bit. "Your a commanding officer in war. Your not allowed to make those type of promises." She turned and embraced him. "Besides, I will always worry"

Shaun held Ava in his arms as they both layed down and fell aseep, tired for their respective reasons. Shaun woke up early the next morning to head out for mission. He kissed Ava on the forehed and whisperd in her ear "I love you."

Ava stayed asleep. Not even waking to hear Shaun go. She was dreaming of their lives together after the children were born. They were in a normal white house in a well off community. The usual family dream for the most part.

Shaun suited up and hed for the silo where the Rex was held. He got in the cockpit, and the silo doors opend. He activated the rockests on the Rex's feet and took off. While flying, Shaun took out a photo of Ava and placed it on the contro panel.

She woke up a little while later. Feeling the bed shaking. An announcement came on informing them that it was just Rex leaving. Ava got up from the bed. Needing to move around a bit. There was a knock on the door. She opened it to see her doctor standing right there. A small bag was in his hands. He just wanted to test her blood pressure again.

Shaun flew the Rex to the power plant. His landing made the earth quake. Thousands of enemy troops opend fire. Shaun opend up two plasma cannons, one on each arm, an obliterated the first wave. He made his way toward the main building. Several enemy mechs appeard. Shaun took out five of them with his rail gun, the rest with a barage of rockets. Still more troops came. Shaun spotted a helicarrier approaching, and blasted it with the sub-zero gun. It hit the ground and shatterd into a million little pieces. Shaun reached the main building, the Rex's armor withstanding the enemy bombbardment. He used the plasma torch to slice it open, then reached don and pulled out the main reactor. Shaun tosses it aside and took off. When he was airborn, he fired a nuclear missle at what was left, leaving only a mushroom cloud. Shaun headed back to base.

The doctor laid Ava down. Testing her on everything. He shook his head each time. A worried expression on his face. Though it made Ava even more nervous. The bed started to shake again. Signaling Shaun's arrival back to the base. Ava tried to get up to greet him as he would come in, but the Doctor only shook his finger at her as he filled out the report.

Shaun landed the Rex in the silo he got out, got changed, and went straight to his room. Once there, he saw a doctor standing over Ava. "Whats going on?" he asked.

The doctor turned as Shaun came in. "Ava's blood pressure is not improving. It is begining to worry me." The doctor told him while handing him a copy of the report. "If I may speak with you out in the hall" He whispered walking out with Shaun. The door closed and the soctor sighed. "I did not want to worry your wife any more. She has a history of high blood pressure. You already know this I bet. The problem now is, it may cut off supply of blood and food to your children if it keeps up. Not to even mention the damage on her." The doctor breify explained. Adjusting his glasses a bit

A worried look came over Shaun's face. "Is there any way cure Ava and the babies?"
