Ashleigh curled up in a corner of the room. No, she wasn't emo, she was scared out of her witts.

Melhana let Yugi, Aoi, and Selena into the room. Yugi immedeatly went to Ashleigh. "You alright?" He whispered.
"Okay, Saharia called us all here for a meeting, but she's not here." Aoi said. "That's a bit fishy if you ask me." |
As Aoi said that, Saharia entered the room.
"What's fishy?" she asked. |
"The fact that you called the meeting and hadn't shown up yet." Aoi replied.

"Look around you doophus!" Saharia replied angerly, "You recond it's just a voice?"

Aoi ignored the doofus comment. "So, what'd you call us all for? I doubt I'm the only one here who got a weird vision."
"Let me guess; involving Yusei?" Melhana guessed. "Yeah." Aoi replied. |
After a few minutes, Saharia showed what happened to Yusei. The room was silent.
"Amanda wanted to save Yusei but he declined. That was the result. He tried to trick Aka but failed. Unfortunaly for us, he's still entering the tornament for two things" she said, breaking the silence. |
"One of them is to take Judai out of the picture." Aoi said. She tapped her tauk. "I got a vision of it a little bit ago."

"That's right. They're using that as an distraction. Anyone else want to guess the second intention?" Saharia asked.

"To get to Ashleigh." Yugi said quietly. He had his arm around Ashleigh, who had buried her face in his shoulder.

"Exactly. Who had her in one of the nightmares?" Saharia asked.

"I don't know, I haven't managed to get that out of her. She's too scared." Yugi said, stroking Ashleigh's hair.
"I can tell you all the nightmare I just had," Selena typed on her phone. "I was...somewhere, I couldn't tell where because of all this dark mist. I called out, trying to figuring out who was there and it parted to show our Yusei encased in crystal. I placed my hand on it, and it shattered, taking Yusei with it." "That doesn't bode well at all," Melhana said. "No, it doesn't." Aoi added. |
"Interesting. And that's not what I meant Yugi. What I meant was who had the girl in one of your nightmares" Saharia said, "but a smashing crystal? I never heard of that before"

"I don't think any of us had Ashleigh in any of our nightmares," Selena typed. Yugi looked away slightly.
"What's up?" Melhana asked. |
Saharia looked at Yugi.
"Would you care to explain?" she asked. |
Yugi shifted nervously. "I did. And Atem and Yusei as well," he said. "Yusei had his hand around Ashleigh's neck, and her aura was being drawn into a red crystal, the same color as her aura. I-I tried to help her, but...." He put a hand to his mouth, feeling queasy.

"They left her for dead? That's what I saw. Plus the crystal you saw. Lucky for you, you already sorted out a plan to hide her vibes, but sadly, it can last for the whole tornament. Why was Atem in your nightmare?" Saharia asked.

Yugi was silent for a moment to let his stomach settle. "He was one of them." He whispered. "Atem was a Dark Signer in that dream. He...he...." Yugi gulped. To be honest, he was truly scared. "In that dream, as I was about to help Ashleigh, he drove a dagger through my heart from behind me. I turned to look--or as best I could with a blade sticking out of me--and saw that his eyes were black, there was a hawk in his arm, and the Orichalcos on his forehead." By now he was shivering. "It scared the shit out of me, to be honest."
"That goes along with my dream." Melhana said. "I'd apparently just lost a duel with Yusei and ws being sent to the Shadow Realm. I looked over and called to Atem for help, but he refused and said he was sorry about you...I looked down, and you were......" 'Dead,' Selena linked to them all. 'Excuse my language here, but things are getting fucked up like crazy.' |
Ashleigh lifted her head up from Yugi's shoulder.
"I should hand myself over" she said. Her eyes had no life to them. |
"No! Don't even think of it!" Yugi said. "I'd die before I'd let them get their hands on you. I promise you that."

"Yugi! Look at her eyes" Saharia pointed out, "Our Ashleigh would've kept her head on your shoulders"

Yugi took Ashliegh in his arms. She was cold. "Damn it, what's got hold of you this time?" He whispered. He initiated a mindlink with her.

A laughter fulled the air. And it wasn't a female voice too. It sounded familiar too.
"What is that?" Saharia asked. |
The two mages, one psychic, and Star's Item wielder braced themeselves for the worst. "Who's there?" Melhana demanded. Her aura flickered just outside of vision.

"It's him" Saharia said, and sure enough, the leader appeared in a puff of Purple smoke. Yusei was behind him, bowing like a servant.
"What do you want?" Aka snapped angerly. |
