"Why do you want us?" Ashleigh asked. Then a new voice poped up...a familiar voice.

Yusei laughed. "Why else? Your power would be useful to us." He said. "Yes, I'm the one who hacked into your system. It wasn't that hard, to be honest. You guys really need to work on your security protocals."
"Damn it Yusei," Crow growled. "What the hell is wrong with you!? We're your friends you idiot!" "Hate to say it but you're the idiot Crow." Yusei replied coldly. "And beside the Yusei you knew is gone." "No he's not!" Jack snapped. "Whoever you are, let Yusei go. Now, or I'll track you down and send your evil ass to oblivion myself!" "Would you really do that to a friend, Jack?" Yusei asked. He chuckled. "The next time we meet, old friend, I'll send you to the Shadow Realm, and I'll make sure you won't be able to get back." Shadow Realm? Damn! That means they've given him some of the old power from Egypt. Melhana thought. It's worse than I thought. |
"And who else are you after?" Ashleigh asked, concerned.

"Telling you all would spoil the surprise." Yusei said. "But I will give you this hint; anyone we don't have any use for isn't going to be around for very long."
Melhana's hands balled into fists. "Damn it Yusei," She growled. Her blonde fringe hung forward, shadowing her eyes. "What the hell happened? I know you're still in there." |
Saharia punched the wall.
"Damn you! You won't get away with this" she said. |
"You'd be surprised at what I could get away with." Yusei said. "By the way, you might want to get down to the main server. Otherwise, everyone down there gets to go boom. Bye guys!" He laughed and cut off the connection.
Jack slammed his fist into the wall. "Damn it Yusei! Show your damned face so that I can pound it in!" He roared. "The next time I see you, I'm going to kick your ass!" "Calm down, Jack." Crow said. "I'm as pissed off as you are, but you've gotta calm down. If not, then we're screwed." |
Akiza wanted to say something in that tone but all was coming out was tears.
Why Yusei? Why? she thought. |
Whether it was Akiza's question or something else, for some reason Yusei--the real one--somehow managed to gain a form of semiconciousness. Using what little strength he had left, he managed a weak link with Akiza. 'A...ki...za....' He managed out, before he faded again.
"Damn!" Melhana said. She shot down the hall towards the lift. I've got to get to the mainframe before it blows, She thought, her mind racing. "WARNING, self-destruct in ten minutes. All individuals must evacuate. Repeat: WARNING, self-destruct in ten minutes. All individuals must evacuate. Repeat--" "Damn it, we gotta get outta here!" Aoi yelled. "Everybody out!" |
Akiza turned her head and stood dumbfounded but Ashleigh grabbed her arm. Soon everyone was outside....all except one person.
"Where's Max?" Ruka asked. Saharia checked by using her time locator. "She's with the mainframe computer. This is bad" Saharia said. "Akiza, what happened?" Aka asked. "I think I heard Crimson Yusei" Akiza replied, Crimson meaning real. |
"Guys, we've got a problem," Crow said. "We're missing Melhana, Aoi, Sakura, and Daichi still."
"Damn it!" Melhana shouted, her hands flying across the keyboard. "Yeesh, you weren't kidding when you said Yusei was a freaking genius, Sakura." Said duelist shot Melhana a look that said, What, d'you really think I'd lie about that? "Damage report guys!" Max called as she entered the room. As she spoke, she was striding to another console to start working along with the rest of them to get back the mainframe and stop the self-destruct protocol. While everything was backed up and the lower levels were constructed in such a way that if any of them were blown up the rest of Omega Federation's complex would be safe. But this was a self-destruct sequence for the entire complex. "Other than the fact that our systems were hacked, we've got a self-destruct on out hands, and we're now contending with a virus program created by an engineering genius, I'd say we're doing just fine." Melhana replied sarcastically. "Wait a second, Akiza." Jack said. "You said you heard our Yusei? Are you sure you weren't imagining things?" |
"I don't know. It sounded pretty weak" Akiza replied.
"I can see what you mean. They have to get out of there NOW" Saharia said. "I'll do it" Ashleigh said. She was in her fairy form, the highest so far. |
"Guys, the place is going to blow! We have to get out NOW!" Daichi yelled.
"Not if I have anything to say about it." Max said. "Keep going! We've almost got the system back! Virus or not, once we get the system back we can shut down the self-destruct!" "On it!" Aoi replied sharply. Her hands were flying across the keyboard like the wind, and she wasn't about to slow down "How weak?" Jack asked in concern. He didn't like the sound of this... |
"Just enough to say my name" Akiza said.
Everyone looked at Ashleigh. "You kill youself mum" Yana cried. "But I'm the only one which the three extra wings and one of them is teleport" then she turned to Marcia. "You're strong enough to gain this form but you can't do it alone. You will find out what I mean" she said. |
"That's not good," Crow said.
"HAH! Got past the first lock!" Aoi shouted trimphantly. The computer announced five minutes remaining. "I'm through the second." Daichi added. |
"You mean that.....they have to believe that faires exist?" Marcia asked. She was one level down.
"That's right. But it's all about timing too" Ashleigh replied, "Saharia, how much time do we have?" "4 1/2 minutes" Saharia replied. "Ok, I'm going" and Ashleigh prepared herself to transorm her wings to the teleport wings/ |
"No way!" Yugi protested. He'd just overheard what Ashleigh was about to do. "You'll get killed!"
"Lock 3 passed!" Max called. "We've got less that five minutes now guys!" Melhana warned. At the same time Selena held up four fingers, showing that she'd just gotten past Lock 4. Damn, still three locks to go, she thought. |
"And you sacficed your life for Atem and your friends. Even me when I was in trouble. This time, it's time to put my life on the line" and Ashleigh smiled, "I be fine." Then at that moment, her wings changed and she teleported inside where the others were.
"NOOOOOOOO!" Yana cried. |
"LOCK 5 PASSED!" Melhana bellowed. By now they were down to three minutes and counting. The last two locks were going to be the hardest.
Max whirled around when a light shimmered in the room. "Ashleigh, what're you doing in here?!" She asked. "Get outside with the others!" "Ma'am, we're having a problem with Lock 6!" One of the techs said. "It isn't responding at all." "Shit," Max muttered. "ASHLEIGH!!!" Yugi shouted. He lunged for her right as she dissapeared, his hand closing around empty air. "Oh no...." |
"I'm not leaving without you. Haven't you forgotten all of the Omega's data is in Kaiba's data backup file? You said that you agree to do it and it went ahead. You have to come with me or else you will also die" Ashleigh replied, "and that's goes for the rest of you."

The computer announced that there was 2 1/2 minutes remaining. "Get out of here!" Max shouted to the techs. "You heard me! Even if it kills me, I'm going to do my best from getting Omega's physical headquarters from blowing."
"Same here," Melhana said. "Damn it!" "What?" Daichi asked. "I just found out why Lock 6 isn't responding. To get to it so we can unlock it we've got to beat a chess game." Melhana replied. "Just great." Aoi deadpanned. |
"Max, the data's in Kaiba's Mainframe. And we can always rebuild the headquaters" Ashleigh said. Max gave her an envlope.
"Take this and the rest of the team here, inluding Aoi, Daichi and Melhana" she said. "I'm not leaving you behind" Ashleigh said. |
"I may not like you Max, but I'm not leaving without you either." Melhana said.
"Daichi, go with Ashleigh." Aoi said. The computer announced that there was less than two minutes left. "No way." Daichi replied. "I'm not leaving if you aren't." "The hell you aren't!" Aoi snapped. "Leave so you don't get your ass killed in here!" |
"I said everyone out!" Max ordered, "I don't care what you say, all of you go with Ashleigh. I be fine. I promise."

Selena nodded. "All right then," She typed out on her phone.
"Well if we're going, then let's hurry up and get the hell outta here!" Melhana yelled as the computer announced that there was one minute remaining. |
Ashleigh's wings became teleport wings.
"Hold hands" she said and in a few seconds, the gang was outside. |
