"How many more songs do you have to go though?" Aka asked, when the music started to play.

"Seven," Kasanagi replied, launching into the song. Fear Garden. This time Edo looked up from his book and gave her a strange look.
"What's up?" She asked when the song was over. |
"You got a twisted mind, haven't you?" Edo asked.

Kasanagi grinned. "You didn't have to grow up with me." She said. "Just ask Jun. He's had to deal with it since we were born."

"And you were into freaky stuff? Weird" Edo said and he went back reading his book.

Kasanagi shrugged. "Pretty much." She said. She signaled for the music to start. The next four-- Circle You, Circle You, Trick and Treat, Joker, and Wide Knowledge of the Late, Madness--she sung through without pausing. By now she could see something that was distinctly out of the ordinary; Aka was looking uncomfortable.

"You do have a twisted mind. Look at Edo. Edo?" and sure enough, Edo was under the chair.
"It's not real, it's not real" he chanted. |
"Oh no..." Kasanagi groaned. She signaled the music guy to hold off on the music so that she could hop off the stage. She crouched down next to the chair and prodded Edo. "You okay?" She asked softly.

Edo didn't answer.
"I think you freaked him out too much" Aka said. 'You're NOT making me to come out Aka' Ashleigh growled. 'Ok, ok I won't' Aka sighed. |
Kasanagi cringed. "Erm...maybe you should practice your songs for a while." She said. She got up and head for the door. "I'll be right back."
A few minutes later, she came back with a bucket of ice water. She positioned herself right next tot he chair, and splashed the entire bucket right into Edo's face. |
The next minute, Edo was on top of Kasanagi.
"Awkward" Aka said as she walked to the stage. She signaled the music guy to start the first song that she was going to sing which was Black Diamond, well, the violin verson anyway. "Don't worry, when I sing this, it won't count as a Powersong unless I'm in battle" Aka told Edo. Edo nodded. Quote:

"Well, this is awkward." Kasanagi said. She blushed. Okay, stay calm...this is probably the most awkward position there is, but stay calm and don't mention the mental breakdown....
"Uh, good to see that you're back to normal." She said nervously. |
Edo realised where he was and quickly got off.
"Sorry about that" he said as Aka went on her next song Meikyu Butterfly. |
Kasanagi giggled. "It's all right," She replied. "It's just....that was a bit awkward. You done with your mental breakdown now?"

"Yeah, I guess so" Edo said.
"Oi! Are you guys listening?" Aka yelled before she sung yet a possible Powersong like the past two songs- Return to the Sea. |
"We're still here! Just making sure Edo's come back from his happy place." Kasanagi laughed.

Aka shook her head and waited for the next song to play- Last train.

Kasanagi placed her hand over Edo's. It feels kind of like we're on a date, She thought. I wonder...if we'd had normal lives at Duel Academy, would we have ended up dating back then?

Aka started on her last song before letting Ashleigh to take over. Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy and went a little overboard, causing both the music guy and Edo to have nosebleeds.

"KEEP YER SHIRT ON CRAZY!!!!" Kasanagi yelled. "Aka, you're bonkers!"

"Why don't you do it in the same way as I do?" Aka asked. Right at that moment, Ashleigh took over.
"Sorry about that" she said and signaled the music guy to start the next track. Blue Moon. |
"Almost seems like we're on a date," Kasanagi whispered.

"Huh, what?" Edo asked suprised as Ashleigh went straight into Live My Life.

Kasanagi sighed. "Never mind." She said.
|
"What are you two talking about?" Ashleigh asked, before singing Legend of Mermaid, the one she sung as a Powersong while the original HQ was still up and Max was still alive.
