Yugi yawned widely. "You gonna tell her what it is?" He asked, taking the cup.

"Of course. I don't want her to give me a dirty look when she takes a drink" Ashleigh replied, "Have a good sleep sweetie."

Yugi nodded as he took a sip. Before he was finished, he laid down and immedeatly was snoring away, finally getting some well-earned--and needed--sleep.
Meanwhile, Selena wasn't in need of a sleeping potion, as she was currently sprawled out all over her bed, snoring away. Like Yugi, she'd had a serious lack of sleep in the past days and was catching up on her z's. |
The Millennium Tauk glowed and showed Ashleigh Selena sleeping. She put the potion in a bottle and attached a note. Then she headed towards Selena's bedroom and placed it on her bedside table. Then she quietly tiptoed out of the room.

Selena was having a fitful sleep. She kept on having dreams that flickered in and out.
Her right eye was burning. She grasped her hand over it, and crimson blood was seeping through her fingers.... Kaiba fell to the ground. He'd been shot, several times. Mokuba was screaming at the top of his lungs.... Judai slumped. Yusei'd just beaten him in a duel, and had done something to Judai.... Aoi was standing with her katana impaling Yusei through the stomach. She saw him mouth "thank you" as tears streamed down Aoi's face.... Selena woke up abruptly. That just wasn't right. She thought. I'm not supposed to be able too see the future with my Demon Eye. Is it possible...that it's evolving? |
Ashleigh walked back to the room. In a shadows, the woman hid, ready to attack.

"HYAH!" Aoi was practing kendo in the gymnasium with Honda, preparing for the Olympics later that year. "HYAH! HYAH! HYAH!"
"I don't know about you, but Aoi looks pissed." Crow said. "What else is new?" Judai asked. "Though it does look like she's creaming Honda." "HYAH!!!!!" Aoi shouted, bringing her bokuto down on Honda's head (thank god for helmets). It was clear she'd won the sparring match. |
Honda laid on the ground moaning in pain.
"Well, at least all of you are fine with that" Akiza sighed. |
"I don't think Honda is." Judai said as Aoi was striding back to them. She grabbed an energy drink and plopped herself down next to Akiza, fuming.
"Uh, what happened?" Judai asked. Immedeatly everyone's faces--except Aoi's--had a frown on it. Aoi was still pissed. |
Akiza stayed quiet.
I don't want to tell them what happened she thought. |
"I'd rather not talk about it," Crow said quietly. Aoi on the other hand had other ideas.
"Yusei's being suicidal." She said bluntly. |
"It's not that" Akiza said quietly with tears down her face.

"Yusei...he somehow contacted all of us last night while we were asleep and told us that the only way to free him....was to try and kill him." Crow said quietly.

"It's nothing relating to that either Crow" Akiza replied.

"Then what is it relating to?" Judai asked.
|
"Yusei 'sacrificed' himself when a woman appeared looking for Ashleigh. He sent me back so he can deal with here and failed" and with that, she cried, "I lost my love of my life."

In an unexpected bit of kindness, Aoi put her hand around Akiza and let the other woman cry into her shoulder. "I guess you were the last one of us to leave." She said quietly. Judai and Crow gawked at her. "What're you two boneheads staring at?!"

Akiza nodded. That's all she can do in the moment.

Aoi stroked Akiza's hair. "It'll be all right, in the end." She whispered. "We'll get Yusei back. One way or another, we'll wake Yusei up."

"You sure?" Akiza asked.
|
Aoi nodded. "I'm sure. Judai can tell you; back at Duel Academy, every year there was some kind of weird shit we had to deal with." She said. "And while I hate to dredge up bad memories, but something similar happened to Judai. Thankfully, he's back and here with us."
"Yeah," Judai said. He placed a hand on Akiza's shoulder, breifly remembering when he'd done the same for a crying Asuka. "Trust me, Yusei's a strong guy. He'll come back, one way or another." |
"How do you know? We didn't got told about Yusei's adventure with the Crimson Dragon" Akiza replied, who had little knowledge about what happened.

"Well," Judai said, scratching his chin. "Most of the time all of us ended up winging it, I guess."
"Especially you, considering how I can count on one hand the number of times you've used your brain." Aoi deadpanned. |
"Guys, I think this is not the time to argue" Luna said. She was quiet till now.

"Speaking of arguing," Crow said. "How do you think Jack's training with Melhana is going?"
"Owwww....." Melhana whacked Jack over the head. "Quit being a baby." She said. "High stamina means an increased ability to use your magic, meaning better control and stronger spells you can cast." "I still don't see why you have to kick my ass the entire time." Jack mumbled. Melhana whacked him again. "Ouch!" "Enough of the stinking whining. The more you whine, the more time is wasted. And I really hate to tell you this, but wasting time is out of the question. So stop whining before I decide to play golf with your head." |
