"I was there at the New Years one. You might not be drunk them but you were on a sugar high" Yana sighed.

"Trust me, they were drunk." Melhana said.
"How could you tell?" Sora interjected. "The only time even Jonouchi would go running around Domino, in the middle of the winter, wearing nothing but his boxers, was when he was completely plastered." Melhana replied, making Jonouchi turn bright red. "Why didn't you stop me?!" He asked. "Oh, we tried." Yugi said. We were all just too busy laughing our asses off. Selena typed, Jonouchi glowered. "Well, hello there my sweet." Kaimiri said. "What has you up this early, I wonder." |
"I so remember that. Mum went home to bed since she was kackered. At least I recorded it for blackmail purposes" Yana said as she took out her flash drive, "I put the vid on here."
Dark Ashleigh lifted her head. "Huh? Oh sorry Kaimiri, just lost in thought, that's all, and also how to distract everyone. I know I'm suppose to kill Sakura but, for now, I think we should use her as a distraction" she said. |
Melhana grinned. "Oh, you've gotta show us that later." She said.
"I think we should be worried when Judai and Sora are of age." Manjoume said. "Sora I can trust with alcohol, but that Slifer Slacker on the other--OUCH!" "Jun, keep your big fat mouth shut!" Kasanagi hissed, pointing to Sora's expression. "Um, maybe we should all get ready to head over to the arena?" Yugi suggested in an attempt to break the tension. "Hm..." Kamiri thought for a moment. "As long as Sakura is taken out of the picture at some point. Permanently." |
"Sure. How did that imasole took out Yusei permantly? I would love to do that to the true owner to this body" the woman asked, taking a bite of toast.
"I just hope that mum made it ok" Yana said, "right dad?" |
"No, I've still got use for him." Kaimiri replied.
"Right," Yugi replied. |
"I haven't sensed Yusei since yesterday morning so I assume that it finally gained full control of his body" Dark Ashleigh said as she was heading for the doorway to lean....
........right into a gun aiming at her head. "Has the ring gave off any vibes?" Aki asked. |
"Well, good to know you're awake." Yusei sneered. He let the gun disperse in a puff of black smoke. "Just making sure. The announcements for the semi finals is in an hour."
Yugi shook his head. "No," He replied. "Oi, where'd Selena go?" Jack asked. Melhana shrugged. "Probably off to draw or something." She replied, knowing full well where her friend was. Sure enough, Selena had retreated to her quarters to change into Kamikaze Sakura. She had a sleeveless long coat that zipped up her front, and had splits in the back and along the sides. The coat itself was black with violet highlights. She had on a pair of black jeans that she had tucked into her goth-style boots. She had the same hat as the previous night, and went to the bathroom to apply her makeup; black lipstick, eyeliner, and mascara with gold flecks to help bring out her eyes, as well as gold eyeshadow. Unike using an eyeliner pencil, she decided to be adventerous and use some liquid eyeliner she'd recently gotten, and was rather pleased with the results. She smiled approvingly at herself in the mirror and grabbed her duel disk and hat as she left her quarters. Time for some fun. She thought. |
"You're about to kill me right?" Dark Ashleigh asked.
******** "I haven't seen Anzu all week too. I wonder where she is?" Yana asked. ******** The last of the of the sound checks was complete. Ashleigh was in her dressing room, getting her make up done. "Aka, the magic curtain, is that up?" she asked. Because of the concert, Ashleigh doesn't have the time to quick change so she will do it when the curtain is up, with a click of her fingers of course. She learnt that from Atem. "Yep, it's up" Aka said, poking her head around the doorway, "People are begining to full the hall." |
"Maybe." Yusei replied. "Are you truely on our side?"
Six of the final eight duelists were there, Sakura having just arrived. "Any idea when the other two are going to show?" Crow asked. Jack shrugged. "I'm just wondering who the last one is." He said. "I didn't see half the matches yesterday, remember?" "Yeah," Crow nodded. "We know that you, me, Akiza, Yusei, Yugi, Jonouchi, and Sakura are all in the semi-finals. That just leaves one we don't know about." "Well, if he doesn't get here by the start of the first round then he's disqualified either way." Jack said. |
Before Dark Ashleigh even replied, Kaimiri stood in right in between them both, facing Yusei.
"You dare hurt this girl, I will extract you from that body of yours and kill you in the process. I got the whole truth and us two sorted it out last night. Got it" Kaimiri growled, "And besides, you better get your ass to the venue right now or else." "Oi! You better get the the stage area now, we're about to begin" Aka yelled from down the hall. |
"I'm going, I'm going." Yusei said. "No need to get in a huff. Unless you're in love with that chick." He laughed and snapped his fingers, dissapearing in a black mist.
"Right," Yugi and Jonouchi called. The six of them entered the area they'd be entering the stage from, to find that it wasn't empty. "Hello Yusei." Jack said coldly. Yusei looked over. "Good to see that you're in the semi-finals," Yusei said. "I wonder how long it'll be before we duel." "Oh, I hope we do, because I'll beat you so badly you won't know which way is up." Jack growled back. |
"He needs to have his attitude checked right?" Dark Ashleigh asked.
A piano and guitar sound started as Ashleigh started to walk on slowly, and started to sing the song that Dark Ashleigh was listening to the night before. Ashleigh, following Blue Moon. She was wearing a one strapped top with Crimson, Red and dark purple. Her skirt was also red with a black belt, studded with big yellow beads. Then she started to sing Fade Away, which everyone started to clap along. During the song, Ashleigh walked behind the curtain. With a click of her fingers, the curtain dropped and Ashleigh was now wearing her version of an Egyptian two piece outfit. |
The clapping died down as the announcer spoke into the mic. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! The semi finals are about to begin!" He said, followed by even more applause. "And now, here are our eight duelists! Kamikaze Sakura!" Selena stepped onto the stage. "Ryo Bakura! Katsuya Jonouchi!" Bakura followed, Jonouchi close behind. "Jack Atlas! Akiza Izayoi! Yusei Fudo!" The trio from Team 5Ds entered the arena, Yusei smirking at Jack and Crow. "Kyosuke Kiryu!" A young, white-haired man in a tan trenchcoat stepped onto the stage, with a smiliar kind of mark on his face as Yusei's. Jack recognized him immedeatly.
"Kiryu?! You entered?!" He asked in shock. Kiryu nodded. "I heard what happened ot Yusei," He said quietly. "I'll explain everything later." Jack nodded as the last name was called. "And finally, the King of Games himself: Yugi Mutou!" The crowd shouted and applauded in a din, making it impossible to explain anything anyway as Yugi walked on. "These eight duelists will be narrowed down to four by tonight! We're sure to have some great duels on our hands folks!" The announcer said. Somebody shut him up, Selena thought. |
As the duelists walked off stage, Ashleigh continued her concert. Aka was going to finish the concert later.

"My friend Akatenchi will continue this concert tonight. This is the Ying-Yang concert. First half this morning and the other half tonight. Remember, anything can happen tonight so come with an open mind" Asheligh said and bowed before walking off stage. Aka escorted her to her room where Yugi was waiting. "You think the announcer was rude to interrupt the first half of the concert right?" Ashleigh asked. Dark Ashleigh looked at the pairing. She and Kaimiri arrived while everyone else was at the first half of the concert "Hm, Selena vs Aki, Crow vs Jonouchi, Jack vs Kiryu, and Yugi vs Yusei. I think pairing Yugi and Yusei is a really bad idea" she said. Kaimiri nodded. "It should be Yugi vs Jack and Kiryu vs Yusei, but it can't be helped. We have to let Yusei loose this time, because we will get our prize before the end of the night" Kaimiri replied. |
"Yeah, a bit." Yugi said. He sighed. "He is annoying though...."
Once the concert was over, the annoucer declared the start of the first duel, Akiza Izayoi vs. Kamikaze Sakura. Selena activated her duel disk as she stood accross from Akiza. You ready? She typed. |
Ashleigh went behind the screen, and got changed to her normal clothes.
"I agree" she replied, "I mean, Ronald isn't that rude. If there is an urgent message, he whispered in our ear before taking over." Aki nodded as she activated her duel disk. I must focus in this duel. I must forget what happened yesterday she thought. |
"Yeah," Yugi said, looking up at the screen in the competitor's lounge. Akiza and Selena were about to face off.
"Now, let's get ready to duel!" The announcer said, and the duel began. Selena drew her opening hand. She placed two face-down cards and one card in face-down defense mode before motioning for Akiza to go. Being a mute duelist...that's going to be hard. She thought. |
The three watched in the competitive lounge.
"Aki's not doing that well. What happened to Yusei really hit her hard" Ashleigh said. |
"I'll say," Yugi replied. I hope she can pick the duel back up. He thought.
The two women were about halfway through the duel by now. Selena drew. From what I've learned from talking to this girl and from her duel against Crow, she's psychic. If that's the case.... She initiated a mindlink with Akiza. 'Aki, you're losing your edge.' Selena linked. At the same time she sacrificed Petit Angel and Hoshiningen to summon Vanity's Ruler, and played the Senri Eye spell. She payed 100 Life Points (The first she'd lost the entire Duel), and beckoned for Aki to show her the top card on her deck. |
Aki ignored Selena's mindlink and showed her the top card, Copy Plant.
I just want my Yusei back she thought, I know I lost him for good. |
Selena nodded and placed another card face-down, then nodded to Akiza that it was her turn. 'Aki, answer me! You're not dueling your best game. What's eating at you?' She linked, trying to get Aki to open back up.
If I can't get her to open up again...we'll have another Black Rose on our hands. Selena thought. |
"This is really bad. That's not Aki's best A game" Ashleigh said, not knowing that the enemy was close by.

"No, it's not. I'm worried." Yugi replied as Marik came in.
"I got here as soon as I could when you called. Is it true that Max is dead?" Marik asked. Yugi nodded. "Then that means you're in charge." "Don't tell me something I already know..." Yugi replied. |
Ashleigh jumped at Marik's voice, then turned around.
"And you are?" she asked. |
