Kamiri smirked as the spiders started wrapping silk around the girl's ankles. "Look down. Do you really want to be a mummy?"

Knowing what she saw when Atem's first body being mummfied looks like, she shivered.
"You're sick you know that?" she spat at Kaimiri.

Kaimiri smiled. "Oh, of course I know." He said smoothly. The spiders were reaching the woman's knees now. "Now, are you going to sing that powersong or no? Either way, it'll be fun to see you squirm."

"Ok, ok, I do it. Just make them stop" Ashleigh cried in submission.

Kaimiri almosed grinned in satisfaction, but he held the impulse back and commanded the spiders to stop. However, he didn't remove the silk that was already wound halfway up her legs, nor did the spiders retreat. They just stayed where they were, not doing anything. "Now that we've got that settled, would you be so kind as to use the powersong from the sea?" He asked. He still had the spiders on standby to continue their wrapping should the girl try anything.

Ashleigh began to sing the melody. Kaimiri watched her closely. As she hit the half way point of the song, Yusei's eyes began to flutter.

It's working, Kaimiri thought as he watched the young man regain conciousnes.

"So, I see we've finally got her," Yusei said when the song was finished. He held a hand to his head as he sat back up. "What happened?"

That was when Ashleigh collasped (she didn't dare to use her hands to go on her knees) and panted.
"Don't make me do that again" Ashleigh growled.

"If nothing else goes sour, then we won't have to." Kaimiri said, snapping his fingers. The spiders left their prey and the silk burned up in cold fire, leaving Ashleigh's legs unharmed. Once again, he bound the girl's hands with the handcuffs. "I believe your work is done here."

"I just hope you loose this fight" Ashleigh spat, "I'll never give up my heart for you and your plans."

"We'll see, we'll see." Kaimiri replied as they left the room.

She'll never give up her heart? Yusei thought. It looks like I've got a bit of reasearch to do, to find out what she means by that.

Kaimiri led Ashleigh back to her cell in silence. Once there, he undid the handcuffs and placed the shackles back around her ankles and wrists, keeping her arms pinned to the wall so she couldn't do anything even if she wanted do. "This would have been easier if you'd cooperated in the first place." He said.

"You got lucky this time" Ashleigh spat into Kaimiri's face, "But it won't happen again."

Kaimiri shrugged as he keyed the code into the keypad again, closing the bars on the cell. "And you may well not have to." he said, leaving the dungeon.

Kasanagi stepped backstage as she and Yana finished rehearsal. "It's about an hour and a half before the duels start." She said. "The stadium's going to start filling up any minute now."

"So, it's 3 duels today, 2 semis, 1 final, my concert and the closing right?" Yana asked.

Aka bumped into Yugi as she was heading to Nefe. She fell onto the floor.
"Oof! Sorry Yugi, I wasn't looking where I was going" she said.

"I can't wait to your downfall Kaimiri. Tell me, how many methods did you use to get me?" Ashleigh demanded.

Kasanagi nodded. "Yep." She replied. She stretched, making an odd squeaking/sighing sound. "The duelists should be arriving soon also."

"It's all right," Yugi replied, helping Aka up. "I was heading out to the Kaiba Dome anyway. Are you looking for something?"

"I don't see why I have to tell you, as you're here right now." Kaimiri said as he stepped into the elevator. "Have a nice night!"

"What do you mean a nice night?" Ashleigh yelled.

"Yeah, I hope dad does win. I mean, what I heard that there was a new Duel king, he or she has to take over the responsibilities that dad had" Yana replied.

"I'm looking for Nefe. Us two aren't affected by the enchantment that is concealing the truth" Aka replied.

Kaimiri didn't hear Ashleigh's last question, as the elevator was already on its way upward to the floor his study was on.

"Sounds like a stressful job," Kasanagi replied.

"I see," Yugi replied. "What kind of enchantment is it?"

"You won't believe me if I told you. It's relating to the pain I felt this morning" Aka replied.

"Dad said that you were there sometime before the end" Yana said.

Ashleigh only heard her own echos. Thats when she realized that no-one will come and rescue her. She cried for the rest of the night.

"Everyone has been placed under a spell to think that Ashleigh has escaped. She hasen't I swear" Aka said.

"And to prove that she's not here is that I felt pain around my chest which the heart is. And I assume that you felt something from your ring right?" Aka asked.

"I want to have a group meeting when that Ashleigh is gone out of HQ to tell the truth, if they believe me or not" Aka said, "Nefe and myself isn't affected by the enchantment."
