"We're Yamis you idiot" Aka sighed, then she felt her legs bound together.
"What the hell?" |
Yugi caught Aka as she lost her balance. "What the heck's going on?" He asked. He looked to the girl. "You think that has something to do with what's going on with Ashleigh?"

"Yes" Aka replied as the bound eased and was able to stand again, "But I can feel the worse things that is going on with her."

Yugi's blood ran cold. "That doesn't sound well at all." He said. "Come on. We can talk about it on the way to the dome. I think the first duel's in about an hour and a half."

"I heard that Kasanagi is singing in between duels so, ok. We don't have to rush" Aka replied as she walked with Yugi, "I wonder, If I kiss you, would Ashleigh feel it?"

Yugi blushed brightly. "Er, um, ah......" He sputtered. "Um, can we test that theory another time?"
|
"Of course. Right now, you got a title to protect so the world will stay in check for at least one more year. Maybe after the tornament?" Aka agreed.

Yugi nodded, his face still red. He punched the keypad for the elevator. "All this had to happen right when I was getting used to being normal, too." He said.

"It's not over till Ashleigh's back" Aka replied, "And that's a fact. And I have a feeling that they want her heart too."

"Why? What do you mean, they want her heart?" Yugi asked. The way Aka said it had him alarmed, and something was telling him that he didn't want to know the answer.

"Remember, my chest hurt in the area of the heart" Aka replied, "But what does Kaimiri want with my hikairi?"

"I'm not sure, but it can't be good." Yugi replied as the two boarded the elevator. Yugi pressed the button for the top level, so they'd step off in the car garage.

"I hope when Sahaira gets back, we can ask her" Aka said, remembering that Saharia took Marcia to where she lived.

"That make two of us." Yugi replied.
Selena pinned the last of her hair up into her upswept hairdo. She'd just dyed it electric blue with purple ends the previous night, and she was wearing blue lipstick to go with her new hair color. The eyeshadow she had on was metallic violet to go with the purple ends. She had on mascara that had silver flecks in it, making it sparkle as it caught the light. Her eyeliner was a particularly dark--almost black--shade of purple. She zipped up the front of her black riding jacket, which melded perfectly with with her black pants and shining combat boots. The overall outfit was form-fitting, and wearing it made her think of Celty Strulsson from Durarara. She strapped on her fingerless gloves and picked up her motorcycle helmet (black with purple and blue flames) and her Duel Disk before heading out to the parking garage. Time for my first Turbo Duel. The woman thought as she called up the elevator. |
"You giving Turbo Dueling a go?" Aka asked curiously, trying to change the subject.

Yugi shrugged. "I dunno. Probably not." He replied. "Honestly, dueling on a motorcyle doesn't strike me as safe, really." He said as the elevator stopped at a floor and the door opened. It opened to Selena, who was done up as Kamikaze Sakura with her blue-dyed hair up an upswept style, a pitch-black form-fitting riding suit, and unusual makeup. Once Selena entered the elevator, Yugi saw that the jacket and pants were seperate, as were her heavy boots. She had her Duel Disk on her left arm, and her motorcycle helmet under her right.
"What's with the outfit?" Yugi asked, slightly surprised at the fact that Selena was wearing something so tight and...well, sexy. The woman reached into a chest pocket and pulled out her cell phone, typing out a message; "I'm dueling Jack Atlas in a Turbo Duel today." it said. "And quit gawking. You're married." The second message made Yugi blush more. |
Aka laughed at Yugi's reaction so much that tears of laughter streamed down her face.
"Sorry Yugi, but it was so funny" She said when she calmed down, "And love the outfit Selena." |
Selena nodded in thanks. Yugi on the other hand wasn't so happy about Aka's sense of humor ar the moment.
"You're not the opposite gender!" He protested. "Oh get off it. At least this way we know you're still a guy." Selena typed. Yugi sputtered, not managing to form any coherent words in reply. |
"Well, that's changing the subject" Aka replied.

"Did you have to change it to that subject though?!" Yugi protested as the elevator started up again.
"Well, your reaction was rather funny." Selena typed. Yugi scowled. "Not for me." He replied. |
"Well, it's different about what we're talking....hey, the ring's red" Aka said, pointing at the ring. It was still glowing red.

Yugi looked at the ring. "Yeah, I'm worried." he replied. "I've never felt anything like this before. I hope Ashleigh's okay..."
"You're not the only one." Selena typed on her phone. The elevator stopped, and the doors opened to the parking garage. |
"Um, why are we stopping here?" Aka asked. Nobody was on that floor.

"Because it's the parking garage." Selena replied via typing. She stepped out of the elevator just afte Yugi, and headed for her Harley. She pulled her keys out of her pants pocket and pressed a button to unlock the alert system. It was painted the same way as her helmet; pitch black with blue and violet flames. She slipped her helmet on over her head and started up the ignition, filling the room with the familiar--and distinctive--sound of her Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Yugi shook his head. "You really like that thing, don't you?" He asked. Selena didn't bother with the phone this time. She mindlinked instead. 'Why shouldn't I? You know how hard I worked to get my baby.' She linked. Yugi chuckled. "Come on, Aka." He said as Selena steered her cycle out of the parking garage. "I don't think you want to be late for the tournament. I know I don't." |
Aka ran to Yugi and for the first time in her existance, saw a car.
"What is that thing?" she asked. |
