"My guess is that some kind of power of yours has been unlocked." Neferhenta replied. "You might be an angel spirit instead of a regular yami."
"Angel spirit? What's that?" Aka asked.
"In today's world, angels are known as messengers of god." Neferhenta replied. "But in reality, they're guardian spirits. That's where the term 'guardian angel' comes from. They're also the strongest guardian spirits."
"Oh, I see" Aka said, "What do they do?"
Neferhenta shrugged. "It depends on the angels alightment, what element their associated with, and their own abilities." She replied.
"I see. But I feel that something is connected to Ashleigh though. She's full of surprises though" Aka replied.
"Ain't that the truth," Neferhenta said. She took a closer look at the wings. "That's odd. They've got the sigil on them that I placed on your back."
Aka had a look at the wings.
"Yeah, it has. And it's the same symbols that it's in Ashleigh's soul room" she replied. |
"Really?" Neferhenta asked. "Hm...it makes sense though, as she's your hikari."
"The weird thing is....I know somehow, that my hikari is part angel, full fairy" Aka said.
"That may be why," Neferhenta replied. "We may be able to use that to our advantage agains Kaimiri."
Aka nodded.
"Is Yugi about to duel now?" she asked. |
"Let me check with Melhana," Neferhenta replied.
'Is Yugi's duel coming up?' Nefe asked. 'Yeah, but I'm still waiting for Ryo. He said he'd be here by now. He's already fifteen minutes late.' Melhana replied. 'That's not good,' Neferhenta said. She turned to her attention back to Aka. "Melhana said that Yugi's duel is starting soon, but Ryo's missing." |
"I hope that Kaimiri hasn't got him" Aka said, "I really hope he hasen't."
"Neither do I. That would be REALLY bad." Neferhenta replied. "And it's right after they got engaged too..."
"Yeah, It would be a shame" Aka replied.

Meanwhile, Melhana was trying to get through to Bakura via his cell phone. Once again, he didn't pick up. "Damn it Ryo, what's taking you?" She asked.
Bakura scowled at the one who'd used the binding spell on him. He had been on his way to the Kaiba Dome to meet Melhana, when this masked weirdo showed up in his path, blocking him. Bakura had said that he had to meet someone at the Dome, and when he tried to get past this guy had used a binding spell to bind him from neck to ankle in some kind of glowing, weird, teal wrapping that he couldn't break by normal or magical means. So right now, even though he could hear his phone ringing and wanted to answer it, he couldn't, because he was immobile on the ground. "What are you after?" He asked coldly, some little part deep inside him terrified of what this masked man was going to do. |
"What do you think I want? And you going to tell me where she is" said the masked man.
Bakura struggled against the bonds. Nothing. "I'm not telling you a damn thing." He spat. "Now let me out."
Neferhenta felt something was wrong with her hikari. 'Melhana, what's wrong?' She asked. 'I'm worried about Ryo. I know there's times he doesn't answer his phone, but this shouldn't be one of them. He was only coming here to meet me.' Melhana replied. 'Something's gone wrong.' |
"Not until you tell me where your love one is. We already got one of the vessels which I got told" the man replied.
Bakura's blood ran cold. Melhana! He thought in alarm. "Vessals? What're you talking about? What do you want with my fiancee?!" Once again, the tried to get himself out of his bonds. This time though, he didn't stop afton attempt; he tried harder.
He regretted it. A large, painful shock of electricity lanced through his body. He couldn't help but scream out in agony, and nearly passed out as his heart stopped for a few seconds. This....this man...he doesn't want me getting fre...... Bakura thought as he gasped for air. |
"I tell you what. We'll have a duel. If you win, you will go free. If I win, not only you come with me, you will also tell me where she is. And for the vessels, you will find out soon enough" The man replied.
Bakura nodded. "It's a deal. Though, it'll be rather hard for me to duel if you've got me wrapped up like this." He replied.
The man clicked his fingers and the wrappings burned up, leaving Bakura unscaved.
"You ready?" he asked. |
Bakura got up unsteadily, still recovering from the shock. He activated his Duel Disk. "Yes. And get ready to lose." He replied.
