"So how many months do you want to train?" Max asked the group.
"Well, Marcia texted me and said that she's in a secret location and will join us for when D-Day arrives so I don't have anyone to train me" Yana said.
"Maybe I can help" Atemu suggested.

"And on top of that, I have to do my demo which is in....." Yana said, checking her watch "in 2 hours!!! The record producer wants to get it over and done with! I even haven't chosen a song yet!"
"Yana, don't panic. You be fine" Saharia said.

Yana nodded.
"I guess you're right" she said, sighing.

'I see. I keep that in mind" Yana said, "So, I better get going."
"Wait! You should go with someone. Kasanagi, would you go with her for support?" Max asked the girl.

"Should we get going?" Yana asked.
"You better if you want to get there in time" Saharia pointed out, "We start on the battle plans."

"C'mon, let's get this over with." Kasanagi said as the portal opened in front of them. "Aoi, if Jun acts up, sit on him, please?"

"No problems there." Aoi said, eyeing said scrawny boy.

Sora was back in the HQ, keeping an eye on Judai. She hadn't gone to Saharia's coronation, though she wanted to. Damn it...Judai, I swear I'm going to find Yusei and strangle him for what he did to you. Our side or not. She thought. Her hand tightened into a fist. "Damn it...Judai, I hope you can recover from this...."

Just then, Judai's hand twitched. Sora started at the small movement. She placed her hand gently on his hand, a small smile coming to her face. He's finally recovering, she thought, gripping the limp, pale hand gently.

His eyes fluttered open. Sora backed up.

They were the Supreme King's.

Yana ran to her room to get change...when she noticed Sora backing out of the room.
"Kasanagi!!! We got a problem!" she cried.

"What are you going to do?" Yana asked as Kasanagi got into position.

Yana quickly ran and dialed Max.
"Max? We have a problem" she said.

"What is it?" Max asked.

"I'll go first," Judai said, drawing his first card. "I place one monster in face-down defense position, and two face down cards. I end my turn."

"It's Judai! He's awake but he's in Surpreme King mode and Kasanagi's dueling him!" Yana exclamed.

Max swore under her breath. "I'm on my way, and I'm bringing Yugi and Atem with me. Hang on until I can get there." She hung up at that last comment. "Yugi, Atem, you're coming with me back to HQ."

"Why's that?" Yugi asked, predicting the answer.

"Judai has become the Supreme King again."

Kasanagi drew. "I summon Spirit of the Harp in defense mode." She said, the fairy appearing kneeling on her field with the harp. "I also discard the spell card, Siren's Call. When I discard it from my hand I can special summon on Siren monster from my deck. Come forth, Siren Ranger! (ATK: 1400/DEF: 1200)" A young woman covered with scales from just below her collarbone all the way down to her toes, weilding a coral sword and one arm covered by shoulder armor appeared. Her long, dark blue hair flowed around her as if she was in the water, her eyes were white, and her hands were webbed. "My Siren Ranger has a useful effect. As long as you have less monsters on the field than me, she can attack you directly." She pointed at Judai. "Siren Ranger, attack him directly."

"You activated my trap; Dark Reflection." Judai said. "I discard two cards from my hand, and your attack is reflected back to you."

Kasanagi screamed as the attack came back at her. (Kasanagi LP: 2600)

"I play two face-down cards and end my turn."

"Why do we have to back to underground HQ?" Atem asked confused, not knowing what the Supreme King is.

Yana quickly got changed and tried to get out. Before she even stood out the doorway leading outside......
"Mum? Is that you?" she asked.

"Judai has lost control of the dark power he was born with." Yugi explained, as Max was too focused at the task at hand. "He's become the Supreme King again. I found out from Sora that when they were juniors in high school, they were sent to an alternate universe, which was where Judai lost control of that power the first time and became the Supreme King."

Judai drew. "I play the spell Dark Fusion. I send my Elemental Hero Bladedge and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix to the Graveyard to summon Evil Hero Inferno Blademaster. (ATK: 2800/DEF: 2300)" He said. The warrior appeared, wearing the armor of a Roman Centurion and carrying a flaming claymore. The warrior's skin was pitch black, and his red eyes flamed just like his sword. His hair was made of flames as well, and a wicked grin spread accross his face. "Once per turn, I can remove one monster in my Graveyard from play to have Inferno Blademaster gain the attack power of the monster. I take Elemental Hero Burstinatrix out of my grave and give her attack points to Blademaster. (ATK: 4000) In addition, when he attacks a defense-position monster, he deals piercing damage. Inferno Blademaster, attack her Spirit of the Harp!"

"Activate face-down; Hallowed Light Barrier. All damage this turn is negated." Kasanagi countered.

"Your monster is still destroyed." Judai said as Spirit of the Harp dissapeared in a shower of pixels. "I end my turn."

"I see. And I guess when he gets like that, we have to watch out for him?" Atem asked.

"Yeah," Yugi replied. "Mind you, I only know all of this second hand."

Sora's brow creased in concern as Kasanagi drew her card. As she was watching the duel, she heard something next to her elbow going "Kuri kuri". She looked down. "Winged Kuriboh," She said. The little ball of fluff came up and snuggled next to her cheek, then frowned at her, making his usual "kuri" noises. "I know, you're worried about Judai." She said. Kuriboh nodded. "So am I, little guy. So am I."

"I summon Witch of the Black Forest and activate Polymerization, fusing her with the Lady of Faith in my hand." Kasanagi said. "Come out, Musician King! (ATK: 1750/DEF: 1500)" The monster summoned was wearing leather pants, a studded belt, no shirt, a haedband, and carrying a guitar. "Since he can't attack any of your monsters, I'll switch him to defense mode and end my turn."

Sora frowned as Winged Kuriboh settled down on her shoulder. Why isn't Kasanagi trying to summon a monster stronger than Judai's? What's she planning... she thought.

"I think we should go" Max said. The duo nodded and they left, only to come across to hear a scream near the enterance.
"That's sounds like Yana" Atem exclamed.

"Yana!" Yugi shouted, already running towards the scream. He skidded to a stop to see Yana being attacked by Kaimiri and Ashleigh. "Get the hell away from her!" He shouted, gathering some of his power in his hand. His aura ignited.

Judai drew. "A bad move on your part. Evil Hero Inferno Blademaster, attack her Musician King!" he ordered. The fiend did as its master ordered, but Kasanagi was just smiling.

"Thanks for destroying him," Kasanagi said. "Now I can summon his counterpart, Musician Queen! (ATK:1900/DEF:2300) I can only Special Summon her when Musician King is destroyed, so thank you."

"That monster is just as pathetic as the last." Judai said. "I activate my second face-down, Playback! When one of my monsters attacks successfully, I can pay 100 Life Points to have that monster attack again. Inferno Blademaster, destroy her Musician Queen!"

"You activated my trap! Negate Attack!" Kasanagi said, flipping one of her face-downs up. "Your attack is negated and battle phase ended. My Queen is safe."

"I set one card face-down and end." Judai said.
