"Dad!" Yana cried and she flew (she was in her fairy form of course) to the trio.
"What have you done to the girl?" Atem yelled at Kaimiri. |
"Nothing, at least nothing that would damage her." Kaimiri replied. "I just thought it would be nice to have a matched set. Mother and daughter."
"You bastard," Yugi snarled. "I won't let you take my daughter and force her into your sick plans." Kasanagi drew. She smiled. Perfect. She thought. "I equip Metalmorph to my Musician Queen, turning her into the Heavy Metal Queen (ATK:2200/DEF:2300)." The punk-rocker's form changed into an older, armored woman. Her corset doubled as a breastplate, the skirt was still pleated but this time black with white lightning bolts through it, had thigh-high metal boots, metal gauntlets over chain opera gloves, and had a guitar that was in the shape of a heart with spikes around the edges. Her hair was done up in two pigtails that were done in ringlets, with black lipstick, eyeline, eyeshader, and black spikes coming down from her eyes. "I'll also sacrifice my Siren Ranger to summon Priestess of the Sirens. (ATK: 2600/DEF: 2000) She also gains another 300 attack points for every Siren in my graveyard. In addition, when she's summoned, all face-down monsters are destroyed." With that the aquatic woman lashed out at the face-down monster and destroyed it. "Now, for my attack. Priestess of the Sirens, attack his Inferno Blademaster!" kasanagi announced. The mage shrieked in a song, her haunting melody heading for the Evil Hero. "Activate trap: Shadow Barrier. When one of my Evil Heros is targeted, the attack is negated." Judai said. The siren's song was reflected and dispersed. "I was hoping you'd do that. Now that your face-down is out of the way, I'll have Heavy Metal Queen attack Inferno Blademaster! (ATK: 3600)" Kasanagi said. "Shit," Judai muttered. The queen of metal surged forward, bringing her guitar down on Inferno Blademaster. The fiend was destroyed, taking some of Judai's Life Points with it. (Judai LP: 3200). "I end my turn." Kasanagi said. |
"I will NEVER join you" Yana said.
"Yugi, get your staff. We are going to have a magic battle" Atem said. |
Yugi nodded, pulling out the pendant. He snapped the charm off of it and let his magic flow into it. The charm grew in size, and an ivory staff with intricate runes carved along its length formed once the emeral green crystal had. He raised the staff to Kaimiri's throat. "Ready when you are."
"You will pay for that." Judai said, drawing. "I play Dark Calling. I take my Dark Fusion in my Graveyard out of play, as well as Evil Hero Malicious Edge and Evil Hero Inferno Blademaster to summon Evil Hero Malicious Devil." The demonesque monster appeared on Judai's side of the field. "Evil Hero Malicious Devil, attack her Priestess of the Sirens!" The fiend flew forward to attack, claws outstretched. "I activate Block Attack!" Kasanagi replied. "You attack ends. Thanks, but no thanks. My monsters are safe." "For now." Judai said. "I'll finish by playing Eternal Rest. All of your monsters that have equip spells on them are destroyed." Kasanagi threw up her hand as her Heavy Metal Queen was sent to the graveyard. |
"Yugi. you deal with Ashleigh, I deal with Kaimiri" Atem said as a Daianhk appeared on his right arm. A staff appeared in left hand.
"Be careful" Yana said. "Ready you puny little mage?" Ashleigh spat. |
"I'm. Not. PUNY!!!!" Yugi shouted, letting loose with a volley of lightning from the top of his staff.
Kasanagi drew. Damn...now I've got no choice but to attack that thing. And with 2600 Life Points left to boot.... "I set one card face-down and attack your Malicious Devil with Priestess of the Sirens!" The aquatic woman once again let loose one of her haunting melodies, but the opposing fiend wasn't even phased as Kasanagi took the damage. (Kasanagi LP: 2000) "I end." Kasanagi said. As she ended her turn, a familiar voice chuckled. "Well, that's a pleasant surprised. It looks like the Supreme King took over sooner than expected." Yusei said. "Just shut up you," Kasanagi snarled. Yusei merely smirked and shrugged. "This duel isn't going to last much longer anyway." |
"OI! YOU!" Dark Ashleigh yelled at Yusei, "You are not suppose to be here! You're grounded for 3 months remember?"
Ashleigh redirected the attack back at Yugi, making him paralized like on that night when Jonouchi called Yugi the same word. "Yes you are and don't deny it" Ashleigh said. |
"Just shut up. I'm short, BUT NOT PUNY!!!!" Yugi shouted. The effect of the yell was a bit dissuaded due to the fact that he was on the ground and couldn't move.
"Before you bitch me out, I came to get Haou." Yusei replied. "I believe the idiots here aren't going to have much need for him." "Thanks for the favor." Judai replied coldly. He drew. "I'll put you out of your agony." He smirked. "I equip Vicious Claw to Evil Hero Malicious Devil, raising his attack power to 3800. Malicious Devil, attack her Priestess!" The fiend obeyed the order, and sliced through the aquatic magic-user. (Kasanagi LP: 1100) "I also play the spell Double Damage! Now, by destroying my Malicious Devil, I can inflict damage to your life points equal to his attack points!" The Evil Hero was destroyed in a shower of pixels, leaving his ghost on the field. He shot through Kasanagi, taking out the rest of her Life Points. She screamed as her shoulder and neck were torn open. "KASANAGI!!!" Sora screamed. She ran up to her friend, who was fading. She ripped a strip of cloth from the bottom of her t-shirt and wrapped it around the girl's wound. "Judai! What's wrong with you!? I thought you had control of your power!" Judai looked down at his twin. "Hate to tell you this, sis, but the Judai Yuki you know is gone." He said coldly. |
"And why do I have to be the last to know these things?' Dark Ashleigh sighed, "Like Kaimiri's plan to get her daughter to join us."
"And what are you going to....." Ashleigh started to say then collasped. "This doesn't look good" Yana said. "That's it!" Atem excalamed. "What's it" Max asked. |
"Maybe it's because you were too busy painting your nails?" Yusei deadpanned. "Well, nice job beating that bitch, Judai. Now, who's side are you going to join?"
"Judai, please don't." Sora pleaded in a small voice. It was paining her to see her brother become the Supreme King again. Judai looked from her to Yusei, considering. Finally, he closed his eyes and smiled. "That's a no-brainer." He said. He walked towards Yusei and dark Ashleigh. "See you losers." "Judai, don't!" Sora called. She was still clutching Kasanagi's prone form. "Please! Don't do this!" Judai paused and glanced back at her. "Just shut up. You're going to be dead soon anyway." No sooner had the words gotten out of his mouth than he was blasted back by the wall exploding into the hall. Yugi struggled to drag himself up after the spell rebounded. "Kaimiri, you're going to pay for what you're doing. And I'm about to make it happen." With that, he slammed the end of his staff to the ground, forming a magic circle (much like Spellbinding Cirlcle) to form around him on the ground. He said a few words in the ancient egyptian dialect, and caused one of the walls to the hall to cave in on top of Kaimiri. |
"HEY! That's coming out of your paycheck!" Max growled.
"I wasn't doing my nails or anything like that!" Dark Ashleigh growled. |
"It's either that or let Kaimiri run rampant." Yugi replied.
"That was a mistake, runt." Kaimiri said dangerously. "You and your friends die here." "We can finish this argument later. Looks like we have bigger problems; such as getting Haou back to home base and making sure he's all right." Yusei replied. |
"Since it was your idea, I let you do it. I have other work to do, like getting rid of Sakura once and for all" Dark Ashleigh said.
"Well, at least magic proof the room" Max growled. |
Yugi let a string of magic permeate the hall. "Done." He said.
He strode up to stand beside Atem. "Is it just me, or are we going to have to fight for our lives?" He asked. "Agreed," Yusei said, supporting Judai. "I'll get this guy back to base." With that he snapped his fingers, and the two dissapeared in a puff of navy smoke. |
Then, out of no-where, Dark Ashleigh quickly ran and touched the wound on Kasanagi's throat. The wound healed with was surprised Sora.
"I don't have much time. This enity took over my body and now I look like this! Amelia won't like this one bit. Oh, I'm Yuai by the way" the girl said. "Yep, and I got one of my Ka's on standby" Atem replied. |
Sora blinked. "Er, thanks." She said. She looked down, and the wound on Kasanagi's throat was healed. That was weird. She thought.
"And I've got mine ready to go, Mou Hitori no Boku." Yugi replied. |
"Ready when you are" Atemu said.
"The spell's breaking. This is the perfect chance to snap her out of it" he mindlinked to Yugi. "You got to believe me! I come from a time which you have to wear an eye peice to see the holograms, damage and all" Yuai pleaded. |
Sora perked up. "Sounds like fun." She said. "I hope I live long enough to see it happen." She got up, picking up Kasanagi gently. "But right now, I've got to get Kasanagi to sickbay. Thanks for the help, though.
Kaimiri dug himself out of the rubble. "I never thought one as short as yourself was capapble of that amount of damage." He said. His arm was hanging limp at his side. He reached over with his other arm and popped it back into its socket. "But I hate to say it wasn't enough to defeat me." He turned to Atem. "Oh, my. Long time no see, Atem. The last time I recall seeing you, you'd sealed yourself into that Puzzle of yours." He said, smiling. "I can tell by your aura that your power hasn't diminished though." |
"Let me help you. I don't know when the entity can take over again" Yuai said.
"What do you think? I haven't used my powers until lately. And it has to be against you" Atem spat! |
Sora nodded, still a bit leary about the girl. "All right," She said.
Yugi put a hand on Atem's shoulder, calming him down wordlessly. At the same time, his own aura ignited. "Kaimiri, what have you done to Ashleigh and Yusei?" He asked. "I merely placed an...enchantment upon her." He placed his hands on the girl's shoulders. "It really brings out her charm, doesn't it?" "Shut up." Yugi spat. "You know I'm going to break that enchantment on her. Here and now. What about Yusei? Have you put some sort of enchantment on him as well?" "Mr. Fudo turned of his own accord." Kaimiri replied. "Liar." Yugi said icily. Dark green was crackling along his arms and staff. "You're lying, and you know it. Yusei would never work for you freak shows." |
"How can you say it when the girl is on the floor?" Max growled. Ashleigh got up staggering.
"You are all going down" Ashleigh said as the girl entity appeared behind her. "Kaimiri! The girl broke free and I can't case her back into the crystal" it said. At that point, the girls body glowed. "I'm free!"she said as the glow ended. her hair was mostly brown but with blond tips. She had black bangs, with golden tips. Her eyes turned from red to purple. She was wearing a very short blue boob tube top with a dark purple vest, orange pants with hearts on the legs and pink high-healed shoes. "Much better" she said. |
Sora was about to say something about the color combination, but decided against it. Just asking for trouble. She thought.
She started towards the sickbay. "You can fill me in about everything on the way to sickbay. Kasanagi really needs medical attention, for more than just that neck wound you healed." She said. Damn, Kaimiri thought. "Very well," He said aloud. "It seems I may have to fashion you a body of your own after all. I tried to tell you hijacking someone from another time was a bad idea." He seemed to consider, then a smile spread accross his face. "Has Haou been retrieved?" |
"Yes he has and is on his way to the magic room to see what's wrong with him. It seems that he got blasted by something or someone" the entity said.
"Well it's a long story since I come from another time and all. And hearing the cleaning bots saying that the cards are trash" Yuai said. |
"I see," Kaimiri replied. "Then I know the perfect vessal for you, as she's from this time. Miss Tenjoin."
Yugi froze. "You won't!" He shouted. "I won't let you turn any more of our friends to your twisted schemes!" "I'd like to see you try." Kaimiri said, raising his hand. When it was straight out in front of him, he squeezed. At the same time, it felt like something--or someone--was strangling Yugi. What's...how...? He thought. Kaimiri was almost two meters away, and it felt like he had his hand on Yugi's throat, and pressing hard. I can't breathe...what's he done? "....huh?" Sora asked. "Okay, I get it; you're from another time. Can you please start from the beginning though? You're scrambling my brain here." |
At that moment, Atemu blasted Kaimiri, releasing his grip on Yugi.
"You ok?" he asked. "Ok, I come from a place called Heartland. There, dueling has evolved and you need an eye piece to see what's going on if you are dueling. The schools texts are now on a computer system but most activities are still the same. And believe me, it's more weird for me since I got a legacy on my shoulders" Yuai explained. |
