"Good luck with that" Atem called and walked the other way.

"Yeah. It tasted like the school's caf." Ashleigh replied as she carried the plates to the already set table.
"Yum! Breakfast!"Yana exclaimed.

Yugi grimaced. "Reminder not needed," He said. He took his plate. "And now to dig in!"

"Aki?" Selena said softly as she entered the room. Yusei was hooked up to machines monitoring his life signs, an oxygen mask was ove rhis mouth and nose to help him breathe, and an IV was attached to his arm. "Is it all right if I come in?"

Ashleigh slapped Yugi on the hand.
"You're forgetting to say something" she said.

"Yeah, you can" Aki said. She and Ruby just forced the concoction that was on the table down Yusei's throat. The remainder in the bowel (which was untouched by mouth) was to be rubbed on the area where he was stabbed later.

"Ow! Alright, all right." Yugi said. "Er...how's it go again?" he asked, bracing himself for the second whack.

Selena nodded and entered, taking a seat next to Aki. She could hear the steady beeping that was keeping track of Yusei's heartbeat. "How's he doing?" She asked gently.

Both Ashleigh and Yana clasp their hands together.
"Itadakimasu" they said in usion.

"He's alright but recovering slowly though" Aki replied.

"Itadakimasu," Yugi said along with them. "All right then, now let's eat."

Selena nodded. She slid her arm around the girl's shoulders and gave her a hug. "But he'll recover," She said.

"I can't believe that you forgot that and you're pure Japanese" Ashleigh sighed before taking a bite.

"But what happens if he doesn't?" Aki asked.

Yugi looked away. "....sorry...." he muttered.

"He'll recover." Selena replied. "Don't think about if he doesn't, because he will."

Ashleigh poked her tounge out, making Yana laughed.
"I can't remember the last time we had a family meal" she said.

"How do you know? You keep saying that the future isn't set in stone" Aki said.

"There's some things that we can change though," Selena said. "This is one of those. Have faith, Aki, and he'll recover. Trust me, I've had experience with that sort of thing."

"I know," Yugi replied. "Neither can I."

Aki nodded.
"Why did they say no magic? Ruby would've healed him simple as that" she asked and began to cry.

After awhile everyone finished the meal.
"Gochisosama deshita!" the trio said.
"Want to stay awhile?" Ashleigh asked as she began to pick up the dishes.

Selena let the girl cry into her shoulder. "I don't know, I honestly don't know." She replied.

Yugi nodded. "Yeah," he replied.

"Thanks. Because I want Yana to go back to Duel Acadamy" Ashleigh said, "And I want the forms to be sent in before the next semester."

"Yeah. I mean, Judai went to that one right? And they recently got it redone too" Ashleigh said as she started to do the dishes.

"That's brillaint!" Ashleigh exclaimed, "What do you think Yana? You want to study abroad?"
"Sure! I love it the idea!" Yana exclamed.

"By the end of next month. They're on the table, where the rest of the mail is....and something for you too. A pressent of some sort" Ashleigh replied.

"You tell me" Ashleigh replied, with a mysterious smile on her face.

"Maybe, maybe not" Ashleigh replied.

"I meant to give it to you on your birthday but it came to the wrong address" Ashleigh replied, "Happy late Birthday."
