"I was about to do exactly that," Kaimiri replied. "Jack, come with me."
"Right," Jack replied, following Kaimiri. "Who're we going after this time?" Kaimiri smiled. "Yugi Mutou." Yugi nodded. "That's your ka. Keep going!" "There's something forming to me too!" Ruka said excitedly. |
Rua concentrated hard and it formed to the the dragon he knew.
"I see it. It's Power Tool Dragon" he said. "It's just until the proper shard pops up when she hears that her husband's in trouble. Don't forget to take the bandage spiders to mummify her when you done" Dark Ashleigh called out behind them. |
"Excellent!" Yugi said when he saw Rua's ka. "Great job!"
Ruka's eyes went wide when she saw her ka form. "Ancient Fairy Dragon!" She said in delight. She jumped up in the air. "I did it! I did it!" "Don't worry, I won't forget." Kaimiri said. |
Rua watched as Ruka jumped into the air.
"And I thought I was the engertic one" he sighed. "See you two soon" Dark Ashleigh called out. And hopefully keep your promise she thought. |
"Oh be quiet." Ruka said. "Who here got his head stuck in a window?"
Jack looked to Kaimiri. "Why are you bringing me with? I thought you could take care of this yourself." "A little backup never hurt." Kaimiri replied cryptically. Jack frowned. The enigma strikes again. He thought. |
"I know, I know" Rua replied.
During the last few days, Ashleigh was going around, saying goodbye to everyone...well almost everyone. She and Selena was headding down where Yugi was. "I can't believe that today is my time to go" Ashleigh said. |
"Ashleigh, don't talk like that." Selena said.
Kaimiri opened the portal to the dojo Yugi was in. "Well, well, what do we have here." He said |
Rua looked at see both Jack and Kaimiri with spiders crawling around the room.
"Jack, what happened to you?" he asked. "But it is Selena. Just as the Angels predicted, 4 days before D-Day, nothing more, nothing less" Ashleigh replied. |
"I know," Selena said quietly.
"I woke up, that's what." Jack replied. "I switched sides so that I can't be held back." "As for you, Yugi..." Kaimiri said. He turned his hand immaterial and plunged it into Yugi's chest. Yugi gasped when he felt Kaimiri's hand grip his heart. "Since I can't get your wife's heart, then I'll just take yours." "Yugi!" Ruka shouted. Jack whistled. "Leave him." Jack said. "You won't be able to fight him. You're too weak." Ruka glared at Jack. "How could you!" She shouted. "You're a Signer! You're our friend! How could you betray us like that!" "You're not my friends," Jack said. Ruka jerked backwards at the harsh words. "You lot were holding me back. That's why I left." |
Ashleigh hugged Selena.
"It's time for me to go" she said, then she ran as fast as she could to the dojo and burst opened the door. "This isn't you Jack, snap out of it" Rua said. Then the door opened. "Leave him alone Kaimiri, it's me you want" Ashleigh cried. Her dark half was right. Let the shard come to him. |
Kaimiri looked up at her. "I know that," He said, "But I want to make sure you're going with me this time. And have some fun, too." With that he gave a small tug on Yugi's heart. He screamed in pain.
"Yugi!" Ruka looked back to her mentor, then back to Jack. "Please, Jack, I don't want to have to fight you." "Too bad." Jack said, throwing a bolt of energy at Ruka. |
"Please! Stop it! Take my shard, here and now" Ashleigh begged, tears springing to her eyes, "Just leave Yugi alone, please!"
"You're out of your mind" Rua said. "I'm not. You and Ruka get out of here! NOW!" Ashleigh demanded. |
At that same moment the energy bolt hit Ruka. "YEEEEAAAAAUUUUGH!" She shrieked.
"Then come here," Kaimiri said. He sent a shock through to Yugi's heart, causing him to scream more. |
"RUKA!!!!" Rua cried. Then gabbing her in his arms, the twins left the dojo. Ashleigh walked forward.
"Please stop" she cried. |
"Oww...." Ruka groaned as Rua was running out of the dojo. "Damn it...why did Jack do that?"
"As you wish." Kaimiri said, cutting the power flow. He released Yugi's heart and slipped his hand out of his chest. He stood and snapped. The spiders zeroed in on Ashleigh and started up her legs. "I'm only doing this to prevent any unnessicary struggles, and thus any extra pain." "Ash...leigh...." Yugi stammered. I...can't move....it hurts too much... He thought. |
"It's time to say goodbye Yugi. I'm sure we will meet again in another time and place" Ashleigh replied. the spiders now upto her waist. She let herself fall to the ground.
"He's crazy! That's why" Rua replied, "but you need to be checked out." |
"Ashleigh!" Yugi shouted. He tried getting up, but fell back, coughing. No! This can't be happening!
"I'll leave your body here," Kaimiri said as the spiders continued on their way. "I have no use for it." "I-I'm fine, Rua." Ruka replied. "Really, I am." "What happened in there?" Selena called when she saw Rua run past with Ruka in his arms. |
"Ruka got strucked by Jack, and Yugi nearly had his heart pulled out of him. Ashleigh is still in there" Rua replied.
"Just get it over with already, and I hope it becomes your downfall" Ashleigh snarled. |
"What?! Shit!" Selena snarled. She ran into the dojo without another word.
"It won't be, don't worry." Kaimiri replied with a smirk. "KAIMIRI!!!!" Selena yelled, running into the dojo. She took her pistol out of it's holster, cocked it, and fired all in one smooth movement. |
"Selena, there's no point of protecting me anymore" Ashleigh said, "I have to die some day."

"Damn it..." Selena growled. A line of orange energy snaped out and stopped the bullet cold.
"Well well well, Kamikaze Sakura has arrived." He said. He activated his aura, sending the scent of oranges into the air. "It looks like I didn't come here for nothing after all!" "Bring it," Selena said, pulling her eyepatch off. The snaking markins appeared on the right side of her face as she opened her Demon Eye. |
Ashleigh closed her eyes and a stream of tears came from her eyes. She knew that the end was near.
This is it her last thoughts were, goodbye everyone. I will miss you all. |
Kaimiri made his hand immaterial. "Good bye, Ashleigh Mutou." he said, plunching his hand into her chest. He grabbed hold of her heart and pulled.
"NOOOO!!! ASHLEIGH!!!!!" Yugi screamed as he saw Kaimiri pull out his wife's heart. Time seemed to stand by in that moment. |
Ashleigh opened her eyes to see the 4 Arch Angels looking at her smiling.
"I'm truly dead am I?" she asked. The body was now in a pool of blood, before the spiders continued their work. Everyone's dogtags went stone cold. |
"You....." Yugi growled. His aura was blazing, the pine scent completely drowning out the scents of Jack's and Selena's auras. His eyes were blazing emerald green, and emerald static was crackling along his hair. "You...will...pay!"
Selena put up a psy-shield around her and Jack right as the energy shockwave let loose. He's completely lost it! "Yes, you are." Uriel said. "We will give you a few days to adjust, and then begin the basics of training you as an angel." |
