Melhana nodded. "I just got done talking to him. He's awake now, thank the gods." She replied.
"Thank you, now that we have a name to the face." Uriel replied. "What I find odd is how you could use the attack you did, because even if you were born with this power, you shouldn't know that attack without learning it." |
"Now two questions stands. How they are getting home and is Ashleigh really going to return. Once she drink the vial, there is no going back" Atem replied.
"I....I....I don't know. Why does it always happen to me?" Ashleigh asked, "But if it's to be, it's to be." Then the spirit of the Queen appeared. "So you finally found my precious daughter Uriel" she said, "I am most impress." Ashleigh quickly turned around. "I'm your daughter?" she asked. The Queen nodded. "You were suppose to be born before Alantas sunk, but you were killed in my womb. I knew you will be reborn into the modern world. If Alantas hasn't sunk, you would've been in rule by now" she explained. "Uriel. Please tell me that this isn't true" Ashleigh cried. |
Melhana sobered and leaned agains the doorframe. "That is a problem," she said, tapping her finger against her lower lip.
"It is, I am afraid." Uriel replied. He bowed deeply to the Queen. "I accept your thanks, and now we know why she has your power." |
"The vial holds a potion which prevents you from returning to this world as yourself. Most trainiees has no choice to drink it. Ashleigh is lucky though. She gets a choice to drink it. If she does, that's it. She stays there forever. If not, well, you know the rest" Atem replied.
The Queen wrapped her arms around her daugher. Then her spirit form turned into flesh and blood. "I be waiting for this day for centries. I turned myself to spirit form until you are found" she said, tears streaming down her face, "You were suppose to be called Malenkia. But I'm happy that Morgan gave birth to you. All I had to do was to wait till you were old enough so I can find you and tell you the truth." "Now I'm certain about my future now" Ashleigh replied, "and finding out my true name. Thank you mother for finally sheding light on my loneliness." "Your welcome my precious Malenkia" her mother replied, kissing her forehead, "Now I must find Morgan to thank her for looking after you for all these years." Thus the queen left, which resulted in hails and noises of crashing clipboards and all sorts. "Malenkia" Ashleigh repeat as she turned back to Uriel, "my true name. I can't believe this. It's like a whole new me has been born and a whole new life has sprung out. But what should I do? This makes my final choice being so much harder. Being Melenkia or Ashleigh? I don't know who I really am anymore. Then she fell to her knees, tears streaming down. "Who really am I? A princess? An angel? A fairy? I really don't know. I'm totally confused right now" she said. Uriel came over and placed his hands on her shoulders. |
"If she doesn't take it, she can come back to us." Melhana said.
"You are who you are." Uriel replied. "Whether your name is Malenkia or Ashleigh, you are the same person." |
"Bingo and believe me, that liquid is fowl. How they offered me a chance at life again AFTER drinking that is beyond me" Atem said. Then Ruby poked her head around the door.
"Hi guys! I was rewarded a break for the next seven years" she said. "But how? I could've had another life if I wasn't still born in the first place" Ashleigh replied, tears dropping to the floor, "This is confusing." That was said when Lanchia came into the room. "I guess she hasn't gotten over it yet. I have to tell that lot out there about the crowning is going to happen in seven years, not in a few days" she sighed, "an angel's work is NEVER done." |
Melhana blinked. "Seven years? Seriously?" She asked. "That long?"
"You can say that again," Uriel said, then turned back to Ashleigh. "You were born into this life for a reason, Ashleigh. It does make a difference." |
"You forget that's in angels years. In other words, 3 months here....so it's kinda like a full in for Ashleigh for that time" Ruby giggled.
"Oh Ruby, sit down with us" Atem sighed. "It does? You mean you were actually waiting for me to show up?" Ashleigh asked. |
"What's got you in a good mood?" Melhana asked as the girl sat down.
Uriel nodded. "Yes," he replied. "You are the daughter of the Queen of Eternity, but also of Morgan Velman. Either way, you're still...you." |
"The Queen's daughter has been found after all these centries. Also after the crowning, there's going to be a wedding too" Ruby exclained, "and I got asked by the queen herself to be the maid of honour!"
"I understand" Ashleigh replied and stood up, "I am totally certain of my true fate." "That's the girl. You better head to training. Gabriel is waiting for you" Lanchia replied. |
"Wedding? Crowning? Who? Why?" Melhana asked the rapid-fire questions.

"Her true name is Malenkia, and I know who is the lucky guy" Ruby replied, eyeing Yugi, "Lets just say that she wanted to renew her vowels because of the riff between you." Everyone froze.

"She...she did?" Yugi asked. "So that's what the wedding part is about...."
"Go," Uriel told the girl. "I will be here if you need anything." |
"Um, Yugi, who wanted to get your vowels renewed in the first place?" Ruby asked. That made Yugi click.
Ashleigh nodded and ran to where Gabriel was waiting. He bowed to her. |
"Right," Yugi said, blushing. "I just hope she decides to come back so that our vows CAN be renewed."

"Kinda of the whole point. If this wedding is successful, you be the next king, AND your vows be renewed in the process. But 'Malenkia' doesn't know that yet" Ruby replied.

"...King?" Yugi said, his voice pitching up. "You're...kidding, right?"

"Nope. In fact, that hasn't happened in centuries. And you know who I'm meaning right?" Ruby asked.

Yugi nodded. "Yeah, Ashleigh." He replied. "But, what'll I be the king of?"

"What do you think Yugi?" Ruby asked, "all of us angels get told of the legend of the Queen and the prophecy that was fourfold."

"I'm still not sure if I understand it quite yet," Yugi replied. "I may have an angel spirit, but I don't know much about their legends."

"Long ago, when Alantias existed, the Queen existed too. She made sure that everyone was safe. It was till Kaimiri's Dad decided to attack her at the same time Dartz decided to take souls, but you know all about that. Anyway, The Queen was due to have a baby daughter called Malenkia but like Yusei's twin, was still born, the day before the city was sunk. When the city was sunk. The Queen said the successor will be found when Queen's Light is preformed, thus she will appear in flesh and blood once more. Then she disappeared without a trace. After all these centuries, Malenkia was found and apparently reborn as Ashleigh. Who would've thought that? Who really is that girl?" Ruby explained. The room went totally quiet.

"Your question is as good as mine." Melhana said finally. "She's clearly more than we thought she was."

"Yeah" Atem agreed, "But why Ashleigh?"
