"No, it is not." Zeruel replied. "I can sense that her aura is acting erratically. Is she usually this moody and depressed?"
"No, she is not." Uriel replied. "Normally she's a rather nice girl. Not suicidal." |
"Yeah, she's only moody when she's like this" Ruby said.
"I can still here" Ashleigh snapped. |
"Ruby, get behind me." Zeruel replied. "Her aura's about to go nuts."
|
"Cricles of the dark! Double power!" cried a voice. 4 dark circles appeared around Ashleigh's body and tightened.
"Nice shot!" Ruby cried. "What is this?" Ashleigh asked struggling. |
"Excellent work, Hsa!" Zeruel said. "Ruby, I'm quite sure you already know this young lady."
"So she is your star apprentice," Uriel said. "Hsa." |
"No time no see Uriel" a dark purple headed girl walked out of the shadows.
"Nice!" Ruby said. Hsa nodded. "Who's the angel teach?" she asked. |
"Indeed, Hsa." Uriel said. "She is Ashleigh, and her aura is rather troubled. I was hoping that the dark angels would be able to help her with it."
"We'll try our best, old friend." Zeruel replied. "Don't worry, she's in good hands." |
"Sadly, I can't stay. There is one more rule that Master Uriel forgot. You have to brave it alone with NO contact. But if you are lost or something, you can go to Zeruel" Ruby said.
|
"Those are the typical rules, yes." Uriel replied. "However, in special cases such as this they can be bent. We will be keeping an eye on Ashleigh, and she will be able to contact us in an emergency. However," he turned to Ashleigh, "only in an emergency. If you need anything, go to Zeruel. He will be keeping me up to date on what is happening."
|
Ashleigh nodded.
"I get what you mean" she said. |
Zeruel nodded. "Hsa, I can see that Ashleigh's aura has calmed and she's back to herself. You can release the bonds." He said.
"We must be taking our leave, then." Uriel said. |
"Roger" Hsa said and clicked her fingers. The circles disappeared.
"So...I guess I see you in a few months then" Ashleigh said quietly. |
Uriel nodded. "If anything goes seriously awry, I will be back here with Gabriel and Ruby." He replied. "Good luck."
|
Ashleigh nodded.
"You do fine girl, I promise" Ruby said, "If I can do it, so can you." |
Uriel motioned Ruby to follow him before the portal closed. As it closed behind the two angels, Zeruel turned to Ashleigh. "I believe it is time we showed you where you will be staying while you're here," he said.
|
"Ok" Ashleigh said quietly.
"Oh come on girl, this the opposite of the plane you are use to. Live a little" Hsa said, slapping the girl in the back. |
"I believe you will find your quarters here to your liking. Of course, feel free to decorate them as you see fit." Zeruel said. "And your wardrobe was transported here beforehand."
|
"My wardrobe?" Ashleigh asked, "I don't have a wardrobe."
"Well, you have now" Hsa replied |
"Here we are!" Zeruel said. "Since this is your quarters, I'll let you enter first, Ashleigh."
When the girl opened the door, the living room of the quarters had a light blue, dark green, and gold color theme. The walls were painted powder blue with gold trim, the windowframes were painted a deep, dark green, and the carpet was a dark green to match the windows. The couch was dark green with a light blue mosaic design, and the coffee table in front of it was made of glass. The chairs were light blue with a dark green mosaic design, the opposite of the couch. |
"I don't know if I should yell or faint from shock! This is much more grand than the one from the light angelic plane" Ashleigh said, "and to clarify decorating, does this means drawing on the floor and ceiling as well or not?"
|
"We'd rather you not draw on the walls, but the ceiling is fair game." Zeruel replied.
|
"Ok, just making sure that I don't get in trouble doing a kids best dream" Ashleigh giggled.
"Well, there's the girl Uriel said she really is" Hsa said. |
Zeruel nodded. "Your training will begin tomorrow after breakfast," he said. "Until then, enjoy yourself!"
|
"Already?" Ashleigh exclamed.
"We might be laid back, but we do have strick training. The first one is hooking up into a machine and seeing what you know, then showing you around the place for the rest of the morning. The first actual lesson is in the afternoon" Hsa explained. |
"The machine we hook you up to is a virtual reality device," Zeruel added. "The light angels have them as well. Hsa is right; we may be more laid-back, but our training is no less demanding."
