"Er, sure..." Yugi said, pulling his hands away from Yana's eyes.
"Wow." Selena laughed. "He lasted longer than I thought." Just then Judai and Johan, poked their heads around the corner. "We heard a bunch of yelling and came down here to figure out what it was....." Judai said. "And...what the heck happened?" "Crow and Jack had a bunch of beer." Sora replied. "And Crow tried streaking." "Yuck, beer." Johan said making a face. "Wow...how many did they have?" "That empty bottle is Jack's fifth." Selena said. "But he was pretty solidly drunk at three." |
Six angel months later, Ashleigh's graduation was held.
"I can't believe that it been 500 years from the last graduate" Lanchia told Uriel, "and it happens to be your daughter too." |
Uriel nodded "Yes...and that makes it all the more enjoyable." He said.
"Well, it's been fun, guys." Selena said, putting down her empty glass. "But I'm gonna turn in. Night all!" "Night!" Yugi called. Yusei and Kiryu had returned with a still-drunk--and fully clothed--Crow. "What're you gonna do with those two?" "Find a way to get them back to their rooms for one." Kiryu replied. "You know, this is why I never drink a lot of alcohol." |
"Reason mum never drinks at all" Yana sighed.
"You must be proud of her" Lanchia said. |
"Want me to help you guys get the drunk idiots back to their rooms?" Jonouchi asked.
"Yeah, thanks." Yusei replied. "As soon as we figure out a way to keep Crow entertained so there isn't a rerun of earlier." Sora tossed him a rubix cube. "Give him that. That should keep him under control, and give the rest of us some entertainment." She said. "Thanks," Yusei said. "Right, now to lug Jack back..." "That I am," Uriel replied. |
"Hey Mel, do you have your video cam with you?" Yana asked.
"You better head on up on there since you are leading it" Lanchia said. |
Melhana nodded. "Yeah. Why? Gonna tape Crow with his rubix cube?"
"Thanks for the help, Jonouchi." Yusei said as he and the older duelist hauled the sleeping Jack to his room. "No prob," Jonouchi replied. "I've been at the bad end of the drunk stick before...then again, I don't remember too much of my 21st now that I think of it...." "Uh...I think that might be a good thing." Yusei said. Uriel nodded, fastening the clasp of his ceremonial robes. "Well, time for our new arch angel to be initiated." |
"Yep" Yana replied, "like to do the honours?"
Lanchia did the same. "Let's go" she said. |
"Gladly," Melhana said, turning the camera on and pointing it at Crow, who was just now figuring out how it worked. And giggling. "Wow...he's really plastered."

"This is going to be good" Yana said, then looked at Selena. For the first time ever in a long while, she smiled a true smile.

"Ah, memories." She said as Jonouchi and Yusei returned. She glanced over to a sleeping Atem. "Hey, Jonouchi, you up for completing the '101 rude ways to wake up Yami'?" She asked with a grin.
Jonouchi laughed. "Aw yeah!" He said. "Now, how to wake him up...." "I'm staying out of this." Yusei said, sitting down next to Yugi. "You and me both." Yugi replied. |
"But they arrived before the party and he's really tired from what the pair went through, right Melhana?" Yana asked.

"Yeah...." Melhana said. "It'll still be funny though."
"Damnit!" Crow shouted, tossing the rubix cube on the floor. "I dunno why people think those things are so fun...I think they're a loada crap...." "And that would be my cue to get you back to your room, and away from the alcohol." Yusei said. "Come on, Crow. I think you've had enough beer for one night." "Aw, don't be a spoil sport, Yusei!" Crow drawled, still drunk. "Consider this an intervention." Yusei replied, guiding his friend out of the room. "Anyway...I kinda want to see the last of those 101 rude ways to wake up Yami videos too." Melhana said. Yugi facepalmed. |
"I think that's our cue to head to bed" Yana said.
Ashleigh stood in front of all the arch angels, Uriel in front. Even if I look calm, my stomich is full of butterflies she thought. |
"Agreed." Yugi replied as Jonouchi was mixing some lemon juice, chili powder, and cinnamon into some beer. "Let me know if Jonouchi survives."
"I'm with you. I rather like my well-being." Sora said, getting up. "Ditto." Bakura said. "I'll stick around to tape it." Melhana said. "I'll meet up with you guys later." "This I want to see." Kaiba said, standing back. Uriel stepped up to his daughter. "Ashleigh Mutou, formerly known as Ashleigh Velman, are you prepared to take on this responsibility?" He asked. |
"Ok then" Yana said and the pair went off to their quarters.
"Yes, I am prepared" Ashleigh replied. |
As the rest of the crew left, Jonouchi crept up on Atem with his concoction while Melhana held the camera steady from a safe distance. "Just one question; what usually happens to whoever wakes up Atem?" Kaiba asked.
"Er...something very bad." Melhana said. "Back during the Orechalcos fiasco Jonouchi and Honda got the bright idea to find a bunch of ways to wake up Atem rudely. They were just one short of the '101' they were looking for. As for what happens to them...It's best to show than tell." "Ah. Then it must be bad." Kaiba said, inching out of the door as Jonouchi sneaked a few drops of his concoction into Atem's mouth. "Good." Uriel said. "Kneel to one knee." |
After a few seconds, Atem coughed and spluttered before waking up and glaring at Jonouchi.
"I'm going to get you this time" he growled, knowing what they were doing. He got up, chased and caught Jono, grabbed the concoction and made him drink it. Ashleigh kneeled on her right knee and bowed her head. |
Melhana laughed as Jonouchi spat and sputtered from being force-fed the concoction. "And that's number 101!" She said. "And a bonus of revenge on Jonouchi!" She stopped recording on her camera and sent the video directly to her PC. "And now it's safe." She added with a smile to Atem.
"And this is where I take my leave. You can deal with the pissed pharaoh." Kaiba said, making his exit. Uriel placed his hands over Ashleigh's head. "Gods of old, older than Atlantis, older than the Earth, grant this girl the power she was born to. The power of an Arch Angel." He said in the old, formal dialect of the angelic language. A glow formed around Uriel, passed down his arms like smoke and enveloped Ashleigh as well. |
"NEVER.DO.THAT.AGAIN!" Atem growled, "Got it?"
Ashleigh felt the power rising as she started her transfomation to an full Arch Angel. She was slowly was lifted up as clothes was changed to the ones she wore on that battle with the Dark Ruby wings. Her hair was changed to blood red. When she touched down on her feet, she opened her eyes to a ruby eye colour. |
Melhana was smiling. "Don't worry, that should be it." She replied cheerfully. "Got all 101 rude wake-up calls now."
Over in the corner, Jonouchi was finally done coughing his lungs out. "Holy CRAP that stuff tastes bad!" "You are now a full Arch Angel." Uriel said. "Ashleigh Mutou." |
"Concider that a payback for all of those times" Atem said angerly.
Ashleigh nodded and turned to face the crowd. Everyone applauded. She looked up at Uriel. "Is it over now papa?" she whispered. |
"If it makes you feel better, I tried talking him out of the chili powder." Melhana said as Yusei came back.
"What...happened?" He asked. "Yes," Uriel whispered back. "After your mission is your coronation." |
Ashleigh nodded.
"I hope I don't stuff that mission up" she said. "Those two decided to finish what they started. That was the end of November, but the tale hasn't finished. Everyone was gearing up for Christmas and New Years. Ashleigh successfully completed her assignment, not knowing what would happen when the future angels took over. In a few days, was the big day and Ashleigh was worried. Worried about marrying to an unknown man. "I can't believe this, and I'm getting those jitters again" she cried. Jibril, Morgan, Hsa and Ruby was there to get her through the last days. At this point, she was her princess self.....and panicking like heck. |
"Baby girl, you'll be fine." Morgan said. Ashleigh was in the same dress she was wearing when she maried Yugi.
"Hold it---AGH!" Honda yelped, crashing down onto Otogi as the dice nut was trying to hold the ladder steady. As a response to this fall, the tinsel Honda had been trying to put up got tangled up with the two men. On cue, heads poked out of doorways, everyone wondering what was going on. Fubuki blinked. "What happened?" He asked. |
