"What's the condition?" Bakura asked.
Uriel sat down next to his daughter. "How is that?" He asked. "It seemed as if the rest of your friends were understanding to me." |
"You do it again UNDER offical athorities to make it offical" Atem replied.
"I didn't know" Ashleigh replied, as Selena came in, "it's just I need time to let everything sink in. That's all." |
"Right," Melhana said. She gave Atem a bear hug. "Thank you!"
"I see," Uriel said. "If you need anything, anyone to talk to, only ask." |
"You're welcome" Atem said, returning the hug.
"Right," Ashleigh replied, as Selena sat beside her and gave her a huge hug, "Thank you Papa." |
"You feeling better now?" Selena asked as Uriel nodded and dissapeared. She didn't tell Ashleigh that she could see the semitransparent arch angel.

"Yeah" Ashleigh replied, "it's just, the last 3 months, well, helped me find out who I was, my purpose, and why my power gone out of control. Plus I gained new powers, more than what you understand. I just needed time for it sink in." Then she cried on Selena's shoulder, while Selena rubbed her back. "You don't know how hard it was for me there, learning that I was more than just an Arch Angel" she continued, "and what Kaimiri did to my Papa (that meaning Uriel)."

"Your papa?" Selena asked. "Didn't your dad die before we met?"

"My dad was alive when we met. He was your english teacher remember? I have another set of parents. And Uriel was to be my dad until the battle of Alantis when my was to be mum got sealed, killing my 'body'. Papa was so angry, that he lashed out at Kaimiri, but that bastard killed him" Ashleigh said as she sniffed.

"So you're some kind of weird reincarnation of an unborn baby." Selena said.

"That's not it" Ashleigh replied, "I'm now the new Queen of Eternity, who I'm suppose to be."

"I've never heard the name." Selena replied. "Just out of curiosity, how long ago were you 'killed' when your er...mom...was sealed?"

"Around the same age as the demon eye" Ashleigh said, "and my suppose name is Malenkia. It took me all these years to find out who I really was, what I was looking for and to finally to sort my power out. If I told the others, they would abandon me for sure."

"No they wouldn't." Selena said. "have you told anyone else about this?"

"Only Melhana"Ashleigh replied, "Yugi know though."

"And did either of them abandon you?" Selena asked.

"I guess not" Ashleigh replied, "Well, it's impossible with him now since our aura's and souls are bonded forever, no matter if we are recarntated or not."

"And what about me? You told me all this and I haven't decided you're not Ashleigh." Selena said.

Ashleigh turned her head away.
"But I have truly changed from what they know" she replied, then sighed. |
"You haven't stopped being our Ashleigh." Selena said. "Even if you are the Queen of Eternity."

"So what?" Ashleigh cried, "I'm not the same Ashleigh you knew 3 months ago. If it was, the building would've shook twice by now!"

"Ashleigh, don't you get it?! We weren't expecting you to be exactly the same as when you'd left!" Selena said sharply. "Changed or not, you're still our friend! Why can't you get that through your skull?!"

"Then prove it" Ashleigh snapped, "prove that I'm the same as 3 months ago."

"I never said you'd be exactly the same!" Selena said. "I'm not the same as when I was in high school, and you don't see me moping about if my friends still want me in their group! What I said was, no matter if you're from three months ago or three years ago, or even three days ago, you're OUR Ashleigh! OUR friend! And we care about you!"

"Well, I don't feel the same way" Ashleigh replied, "I rather leave the group now before I hurt anyone."
