Uriel nodded and looked to Ashleigh. "Are you all right?" He asked.

"Yeah, I think so" Ashleigh replied, "What happened?"

"You caught hypothermia." Uriel replied. "Yugi brought you here and did an energy transfer, and overtaxed himself as a result."

"Oh, I see" Ashleigh said quietly, "I didn't mean to collaspe like that."

"It was not your fault." Uriel said.
|
"I know" Ashleigh sighed, "I can't control what my body does."
|
Uriel closed his eyes, about to say something when Yugi started to groan.

"He's coming around" Malenkia said, "Yugi, you ok?"
|
"Yeah, just exhaused." Yugi said, pushing himself up on his elbows. "Is Ashleigh all right?"
|
"Well, yeah. But I don't think she should go out again tonight" Malenkia said.
"I had a feeling that it would happened. So I gave my speech to Selena to read out." |
"You did?" Yugi asked. Then he paled. "Crap...."

"Then you better get going then" Ashleigh said.
"Yeah, papa and myself will look after her" Malenkia agreed. |
"Thanks," Yugi said. He gave Ashleigh a peck on the forehead. "I'll be back once the reception is over."

"Ok then" Ashleigh replied. Yugi took his suit jacket and left.
"What really happen to me today?" she asked. |
"Your dual soul merged into one, finally." Uriel replied.
Yugi made it back to the chapel just before the speeches by the maid of honor and best man were supposed to be made. He snuck in so that he wouldn't be noticed. He tapped Bakura on the shoulder. "I had to go get Ashleigh back to Omega. She passed out in the snow." Bakura turned to him with wide eyes. "Is she all right? What happened?" He whispered back. "I'm not sure. It has something to do with her having a dual soul." Yugi replied. "Did I miss the maid of honor speech?" |
"My wha?" Ashleigh asked, confused, still confused on how she ended up at the federation.

"Dual soul." Uriel replied. "Yours and Malenkia's souls were trying to win out over each other. Either they would properly merge, or one of your personalities would be suffocated out of existance."

"Oh" was only Ashleigh could say.
"Like you said, I'm apart of you, so you can still call Uriel Papa" Malenkia said. |
Bakura shook his head. "The speeches were about to start, actually." He replied. "Didn't Ashleigh come with you?"
Yugi shook his head. "She's resting back at Omega." He replied. "She said she gave Selena a copy of her speech written down so Selena could deliver it in her place." |
"So, what's going to happen to me now Papa?" Ashleigh asked.

"In a way, you will have a new yami." Uriel replied. "But she will not be able to manifest herself in a physical form or possess your body. After all, you are the same person."

"Papa, I can still do that" Malenkia groaned.

"With Ashleigh's consent." Uriel said. "Over time, your souls will merge into one, as they are meant to be."

"But what about Aka?" Ashleigh asked, "Will she come back?"
|
Uriel nodded. "Whether she has her memories is up to fate, however." he said.
