"So, when would that happen?" Ashleigh asked.

"Over time." Uriel replied. "How long that time would be is unknown."

"So, she's not coming back here then?" Ashleigh asked.

"Sadly, no." Uriel replied.

By now, you expect Ashleigh to break down and cry. But instead, which even surprised Uriel, she looked outside the window.
"If it has to be, it has to be" she said.

"It's not bothering you?" Uriel asked, blinking.

"No" Ashleigh replies, "all Yamis have to go sometime."

"Something you learned from Atem and Neferhenta?" Uriel asked.

"Yeah, I guess so" Ashleigh replied, "that and she was turning into her own self."

"That happens often with yamis." Uriel replied. "Akatenchi may have been born from your soul, but once she was seperated she began knowing she had her own identity."

Ashleigh turned her head.
"You really think so Papa?" she asked.

Uriel nodded. "Yes, I do." He said.

Meanwhile, back at the reception, Melhana's father tapped on his glass to get everyone silent. "Well, I believe now is when my daughter and new son-in-law set aside for the speeches from the Best man and the maid of honor." He said. "Yugi, I believe you're beginning."

Yugi stood and took the mic. "Thanks," he said. "Believe it or not, when I first met Melhana back in high school, I pegged her as a delinquent."

"Gee, thanks." Melhana deadpanned.

"Which is why I never would have guessed Ryo Bakura would have fallen for her. As Jonouchi put it once, he made me look outgoing in the shy department." Yugi continued, ignoring Melhana's comment.

"Hey!" Bakura protested. "You try having a psychopath possess you sometime!"

Ashleigh nodded.
"But why did it happen today of all days?" she asked.

"That, I do not know." Uriel said shaking his head. "As they say, the universe rarely acts according to our convieniece."

"Yeah......" Ashleigh said and sighed, "At least the wedding didn't go without a hitch though."

"Well, considering how back then Atem could be a bit of a psycho...." Selena muttered into Anzu's ear.

"But, even with that little...problem, Bakura became one not only my closest friends, but just as close to Jonouchi, Honda, Anzu, and the rest of us." Yugi continued. "And in all honesty, I'm glad we got to meet him and have opportunity to call him a friend."

"That it did," Uriel replied. "I could tell you enjoyed being the maid of honor."

"As much as being the bride" Ashleigh replied, "and a lot less stressful too."

Anzu nodded.
"And I already told you this, but I had to stop him one more time before he hurt anyone" she whispered back into Selena's ear, knowing that she was there when Atem lost control the last time.

Ashleigh lay back down.
"So, what's going to happen now?" she asked, "Can we finally breath?"

Uriel nodded. "For now, it appears. And for a rather long time into the future."

"Yeah. But I wonder what happened next? I mean, I had to leave early because of the wedding but still" Ashleigh said, sighing.

Uriel placed a hand on her shoulder. "When you return, you will be ready to begin your duties." He said.

"Both as Queen and as an Arch. I know" Ashleigh replied, then noticed a twinkle in Uriel's eyes.
"What's going on Papa?" she asked.

"Your mother and I have...decided on something." Uriel replied. "After the last 10,000 years...we will finally be wed."

"Really?" Ashleigh asked, "That's great Papa."
"And about time too" Malenkia added in glee.
