During all that however, Ashleigh and Uriel talked about Selena.
"Even since she was so focus on breaking the death curse, she ended up acting like a monster and not remembering what's important" she explained, "I think it's best that we go our seperate ways for now till she realise that she's not the Selena I know."

Uriel listened the entire time. "I...have heard of this death curse...it is a terrible experiment the First Gods began." He said. "As an arch angel, I've seen what happens to the poor humans who are born with the Demon Eye. It's the epitimy of cruelty."

"Yeah. Selena suppose to be dead by now. But now she's immortal, she is even more blind since she surrvive this long" Ashleigh pointed out, "And the one who has it, suppose to be dead at a early age."

Uriel nodded. "I know...but there is an out clause." He said.

"What do you mean Papa?" Ashleigh asked.

"Selena has become far closer to breaking the death curse than she knows." Uriel replied. "She's only one step away."

"Oh? And what's that?" Ashleigh asked, now curious.

Uriel paused for a few moments, considering. "She...has to die to break the curse." He replied finally. "But everyone who dies from the Demon Eye's curse is given a choice; be reincarnated as a normal person, with no memories of their past life and none of the power of the Eye, and a chance at having the life they were denied, or go back to their life with the Eye. All of the holders of the eye have all chosen the first choice."

"Oh, I see" Ashleigh replied.
"I do the deed Papa" Malenkia said, "It's better than having someone that she love do it."

Uriel shook his head. "It has to be done on Selena's own time. It could be tomorrow, it could be ten thousand years from now, or even next year." He replied.

"The Selena I met in the future hasen't died yet. So I agree with Papa. Killing her now will be pointless. All we need is to snap her out of her mindset. It's the only thing we can do in the moment" Ashleigh replied.

Uriel nodded. "It's the best plan," he said. "I sense that Selena Kuro has the capability to end the death curse...she only needs to awaken it." And I have seen parts of the future. As a guardian of time....

"Awaken it?" Ashleigh asked, "What do you mean by that?"

"Selena Kuro needs to, as you said, be reminded of who she is without this curse." Uriel replied. "She needs to be told she is Selena Kuro, not the weilder of the Demon Eye, and not be blinded by her quest to break the death curse. If not, she will succumb to it."

Ashleigh nodded.
"So when am I suppose to tell Selena this?" she asked.

"Whenever you feel is right, but no matter when, the explanation will not be easy." Uriel said.

"Yeah, but Selena think that I think she's a monster because......." Ashleigh trailed off.

"Because of what?" Uriel asked in concern.

"She thinks I hate her" Ashleigh finished, looking away, JUST as Yugi returned. After having the music played and the throwing of the bouquet (Somehow Selena was able to catch it), Bakura and Melhana left in the bridal car to their honeymoon for the winter.

"Yes" Ashleigh replied, "and this time, it's her who is going to be snapped out of it and back to reality."

"Very" Ashleigh replied, "and she needs to be reminded of who she is and not what she thinks she is. She needs to stop trying to break the curse now. The last step will happen in the future."

"I don't know" Ashleigh replied, "I just want my friend back."
