"Wow.....why did he need blood for the end of it?" Ashleigh asked.

Uriel gulped, hoping that his voice wouldn't crack. "So...so that he would have a physical medium with which to make the power his own. The blood of one close to him was best." He said softly. "If he hadn't been stopped when he did, he would've killed me so that he could use my blood as a medium for the Shadow Realm's power, and then drink it." He opened his eyes, though they stayed distant. He pushed up his robe to show a spell marking on his left wrist and arm. "I initiated the last spell any angel should have to use; it ended the ceremony, and drained me."

"Then he went on a ranpage, got his wings ripped off and got cast out of the angel realm, ending in the Shadow Realm for all enternity without a trial" Ashleigh said, "but, there is one thing I don't get. If your brother went into the Shadow Realm for a soul retreval but forgot to place a protection spell on him before he entered, then came out a madman, how did he contrated a peice of the shadows?"

"It wasn't possible for him to have a trial." Uriel said solemnly. "By the time I was awake, he'd killed all the angels." He sighed. "But yes, you are correct. Apparently, he managed to get his power without my blood."

"Then I was lucky that.....disgusting thing didn't enter my soul then" Ashleigh said, then hugged her father, "I wish I was properly there to help stop it."

"It happened before you were officially 'born', so there was no way you could have stopped it anyway." Uriel replied.

"I know" Ashleigh said, "But now I have a triple life. A Queen, a angel and a fairy. This is going to make life differicult."

"You don't ned to tell me twice." Uriel laughed.

"And this year was a huge rollar coster ride" Ashleigh continued, "finding my first set of parents, becoming a full Arch Angel, being the new Queen and saving the world."

Uriel nodded. "I hear this wasn't the first time you'd saved the world." He chuckled.

"You tell me" Ashleigh said, "I had to put my first wedding on hold. Twice!"

"What made that happen?" Uriel asked, then stopped himself. "Yugi was sick, wasn't he...."

"Nope. It was saving the world, or worlds" Ashleigh replied, "I mean, I was pissed off at first for the second time, and I knew Yugi was going to be upset. But of course he didn't mind. As long as the world is safe....or worlds, he's happy for me to go and protect it."

"I see." Uriel said. Then his stomach rebelled. "Er...excuse me for a moment..." He said, ducking into the nearest men's bathroom.

Ashleigh cocked her head to one side.
I just hope papa doesn't pass out she thought.

Once Uriel was in the bathroom, he threw up into a toilet. Ugh...is this what getting married is like? If it is, then I wish I had never proposed in the first place.... He thought.

The two weeks disappeared and the big day arrived. The women's side of the party was of course calming Jirbil's nerves down which they done so successfully. On the men's side however, it was a different story.

"Uriel, calm down!"

Gabriel spoke sharply, but it appeared the head of the Arch Angels wasn't about to pay attention. Gabriel let out an exasperated sigh. I should have seen this coming. He thought. Yet another reason I never married. Nor do I have any want to.

The other Arches and Yugi looked at each other.
"Well, if he passes out, it's not our fault" said one.

After a few spells and potions, Uriel was finally able to come down. After hearing the word that the bridal party was ready, the men headed to the gardens where the wedding was to be held.

"I still can't believe that this is happening" Jibril said.
"You will be ok Mama" Ashleigh replied. She was wearing an old midevil dress with pastle blues and greens.

"You sure you're not going to pass out?" Yugi asked Uriel.

"I have no idea." Uriel replied, adjusting the cuff on his armored coat. "But thanks for the thought."

"Try being the one providing the music." Selena grumbled. "Why on Earth did you show them the recording of me on the piano?!"

"Hang on, I was sealed away for how long so I have not seen you play" Jibirl replied. Max raised her hand.
"That would be me" she said.
"You better head towards the paino" Ashleigh sighed, who was not in the mood for any drama.

"About that" Max said, "I was the one who show him the recording. I was not suggesting it as a suggestion, it was more like of an approvement of your musical skills."
