"Oh." Selena said, blinking. "Well, that solves that problem."
"Yeah......well, you better head down to the front Selena, the wedding's about to start" Max said. Selena nodded and headed towards the piano.
Selena took her place down in front. I hope Uriel doesn't pass out...that would be bad. She thought.
"Here goes nothing" Jibril said quietly and took a huge breath as the girls (Yana, Ashleigh, Max and Morgan) walked down the isle. Then when everyone stood, Jibril walked down the isle, which made Uriel not only took his breath away, but made him forget the quezy feeling in his stomich.
This is what she would have looked like if we'd lived to see our marriage. Uriel thought. He gulped. Right...don't pass out...don't pass out....don't pass out....
Jibril took Uriel's hand and looked at each other.
"I cannot believe this is happening now, after all these years" she whispered. |
"You and me both." Uriel whispered back, surprised that his voice was working at all.
Selena leaned in to Ashleigh. "Is it just me, or does Uriel look a little pale?" She asked the woman. |
"Yeah, and I don't want a repeat of it either" Ashleigh whispered back.
Selena hummed in agreement as the ceremony started. Yugi's looking a bit pale too....I hope he's not the one to pass out either!
Jibril and Uriel looked at each other for a few more minutes before turning to look at the minister, the same one who took the Royal wedding earlier.
"I presume you are both ready." The minister said. Uriel and his soon-to-be wife nodded.
"Lets get it over with" Jibril replied.
"Grasp each other's hands." The minister said. The two did so. "Uriel, do you take this woman as your wife?"
Uriel nodded. "Yes. I do." He said. "Jibril, do you take this man as your husband?" |
"Yes, I do" Jibril replied, giving Uriel a smile.
The minister nodded and placed his hand over the linked hands of Jibril and Uriel, activating his own aura as he linked the aura of the two angels.
To the pair, it wasn't weird at all, since they already knew it was tradition and seeing it happened to their daughter and son-in-law before. Even though Jibril wasn't Queen anymore, she was still royal.
For a few minutes the three at the altar were still, before the minister withdrew his hand and let it fall to his side. He opened his eyes. "In the name of the First Gods, the gods of Atlantis, and the gods of Egypt, I name you husband and wife." He said.
Everyone applauded as the couple kissed.
I'm so happy that Mama and Papa is together finally, after all these years Ashleigh thought as the pair went up the isle, the rest of the bridal party followed suit. |
"They certainly look happy." Selena whispered as the bridal party left.
"Yeah" Ashleigh agreed, "I mean, they were planning it before I was born, till Alantis sunk."
"Wow...." Selena said. "So they got their wedding about 10,000 years later than they intended."
Ashleigh nodded.
"At least that they're happy now, and that's the main thing" she said, "and after the reception, we have to go. Because when the gem in the pendant starts to darken, there is a chance that your soul will get harm." |
"That doesn't sound good." Selena said, looking down at her pendant. It was still a vibrant purple, which meant she was fine, but the idea of her soul being harmed by being in the angelic plane still worried her.
"Come on, lets go to the reception" Ashleigh said, and headed to the woman's favourite place at the angelic plane: the waterfall.
Selena sighed and leaned against a railing once they'd gotten to the waterfall. "You really think this is the end of our problems?" She asked.
