Mahad quckly took teh cuff, the bands which were on the ground and the Tauk from around her neck. Then he quickly searched the girl for other valuebles including a KC key in a shape of a card, a wallet, her wedding ring, and a locket and to their suprise, yet another star item she was keeping for Yana when she completed her Fairy Training.

"But she's keeping the Rod for someone but for who? And why did the Tauk chose Asheligh?" Mahad wondered as he put the girl's belongings into a bag. Then teleported Ashleigh away from the federation as far as he can.
"We have to explain to Max about the situation" he said, putting the bag over his sholders.

Mahad nodded and ran as fast as he could. The guards didn't stop him. He slowed down as he got to the research lab which Joey and Ryo was there.
"You want to see me Max?" he asked.

"Yes," Max replied. "I was wondering what you'd be able to tell us about the Star's Items, specifically this one--" She motioned to a silver box, much like the one the Millenium Puzzle was in before it was solved. "Why do you think no one can touch it without getting burned?"

Ryo glanced nervously at Mahado as he entered. He moved back closer to the wall, cursing the fact that he looked so much like that theif. Damn it, he thought, remembering what Melhana had told him had happened in the World of Memory. Why did I have to wind up with that...asshole in my family tree?!

((FYI, Ryo's talking about Theif Bakura.))

"They suppose to have the excact same effect as the Millenum items. But since Yugi had the orginal puzzle, he's the only one who can solve it BUT there is a catch. Untill the actual owner appears, he can't solve it for that person. It can be only solved by the one who solved the orignal puzzle. Speaking of Star Items, I found another one that Ashleigh was looking after. It's going to be one of her children's item" he replied, taking off the bag, opening it and taking out the Star Rod.

"In other words, the chosen one can only touch the box. Everyone else will burn" Mahad replied, "The orginal Chosen one of the orginal puzzle is able to solve it but isn't allowed to keep it."

"Yes and you know this one Melhana" Max replied.
"Anyway, something is happening to Ashleigh and not the good kind either. She's turning evil" Mahad said. Everyone gasped.
"Proof it" Max demanded. Mahad dug though the bag to show the tracking bands.
"But how? Any explanation?" she asked.

Max laughed.
"Jonouchi, you said that last time when Yugi lost Atem as he thought, forever."
"But what's worse that it all started when Marcia's powers gone on a ranpage. Lucky for us, she's got it back but now Theif Bakura's back, he pushed the poor girl to her limits. Then somebody made both Ashleigh (and adding a quick glance at Melhana) and Melhana go head to head....wait a minute! Whoever was trying to get rid of us has probaly planted the oricancos power in her plus some dark signer's power as well. But they don't want to kill the girl though" Mahad said.

Max and Mahad looked at each other and shrugged.

((Okay...))

Melhana put her hand on Ryo's shoulder. "Hey, what's up?" She asked.

Ryo had since stopped banging his head on the wall, and the pain between his eyes was doing nothing to help his headache. "It's just--agh, there's too much shit going on." He said. "I know your dad taught me how to control and use my power as a mage, but if there's one thing I wished hadn't happened, it was that theif coming back."

Melhana leaned up against the wall so he could see her fully. She was as hot as when they were in high school--no, more so. "And guess what? You're stronger now." She replied. "And that motherfucker's got his own body, so there's no reason for him to come chasing after you. And don't give me that look; just because you wound up a mage the same way Yugi did doesn't mean you'll wind up like that ass."

Ryo stood with his head against the wall for several more moments before mirroring Melhana's posture. "True, but..." he started, but his voice trailed off.

Melhana looked at him quizzically. "But what?" She asked.

Ryo took his deck out of the case at his belt and scanned through it. He stopped and pulled out a card. "This." He said, pulling out a card. The Wicked Eraser was its name. "It's my ka. Are you so sure that I won't end up like that Theif?"

Melhana placed an arm around his shoulders. "I'm sure." Melhana said. "After all, you saved all our skins in that Monster World shadow game, and again in Duelist Kingdom when we were sucked into our favorite Duel Monsters cards."

Suddenly, there was explosens outside. Max open the door.
"We don't have much time. We HAVE to see what's going on out there" Max said. A solder running in.
"Max, it's more serious" he said, pointing to the medical team, helping, now a shocked, own self Aka.

"What the hell...?" Ryo asked. Melhana reacted immedeatly.

"Akatechi!" she exclaimed, then she turned to the soldier. "What's going on out there?"


Selena opened her eyes as she heard the explosion. So much for meditating, she thought. Her phone rang. Pressing the answer button on her Bluetooth, she answered. "What's going on?"


Yugi instincitvely reached for his Duel Disk when he heard the explosion, but winced when the exertion caused too much pain.

'Damn. Atem, got any clue what's happening?' He asked.

"We found her lying on the ground. She was in front of a mad woman. We tried to arrest her but she took all their souls away" the solder replied.
"This is worse than I thougt" Mahad said, following Max.

"Something bad has happened but to who I don't know what" Atem said sadly.
If I let Yugi know what really happened, we will withdraw within himself he thought.

Max activated her headset. "Get down here now, Aoi. And bring your sword and dueling deck." She turned off the headset without waiting for a response.


Aoi grabbed her Duel Disk from her dresser and katana from the wall, sticking it through her belt. As usual, she had a long, gold jacket on, signifying the dorm she'd been in at Duel Academy. Damn, what shit's going down now? She thought as she shot to the scene of the crime.


"Got that right," Melhana said. Sakura was already there when the reached the scene.

"What the fucking hell is going on?!" She demanded. She saw Ashleigh standing in a ring of power, her red aura now tainted. The once warm cinnamon scent was bitter and burned her nostrils. On the woman's arm burned a violet crest, and her forehead sported an Orechalcos seal.

"Oh, fuck no..." She whispered.


Yugi felt the familiar pressure; the Orechalcos. "Damn it," He growled, swinging his legs over the edge of the bed. Ignoring the pain in his chest, he pulled on his shirt and grabbed his Duel Disk as he headed out the door to meet up with the others. 'Atem, meet me down with the others.' He linked.

'Yugi, don't you dare go down there and that's an order' Atem demanded.
'If he finds out that it's his sweetheart, we will feel what I felt all those years ago he thought.

"Well, well, well. Isn't it some of the broken Legends" Ashleigh said, smirking.
"As I suspected. But I didn't know that she would come back here" Mahad said, panting.

"Who're you calling 'broken'?!" Jonouchi burst out, but Selena stopped him by putting her arm in front of him.

"'Broken' my ass," she 'said'. She smiled humorlessly. "More like on hiatus."


'Sorry Atem, but I'm not listening.' Yugi replied, shooting out the door. The scene that met his eyes stopped him dead in his tracks.

"Ashleigh...no...." he said, devistated.


Melhana turned when she heard a soft voice. It was Yugi, and he was looking upon the scene in devistation. Melhana could see the thoughts going through his head; What was happening.

"Damn it, Ashleigh," she muttered. "No, damn whoever did this!"

'Now you know why I ordered you to stay back in your room' Atem said, But, I'm afraid it's a lot worse'
"Well, you are. And minus one member, you're still broken" Ashleigh replied, then laughed.

"I told you before, Ashleigh, we're not broken." Selena replied. "Or would you like me to prove it in a duel?"

"Careful Sakura," Max warned. "She's got the power of both a Dark Signer and the Orechalcos behind her. Don't get yourself killed."

"I won't." Selena said simply.


"Boss!" Aoi said as she rocketed out the doors. "I got your call. What's going--" She stopped dead as she saw not only her boss, four of the Five Legends, and the Egyptian motocross champion, but a woman sporting a crest of the Dark Signers and the Orechalcos, on her arm and forhead respectively. "Aw, shit."

Followers appeared behind her. Both Dark Singers and Dooma warrors.
"Lets go" she said. Everyone was surprised what they said.
"Yes Mistress" and the group left. The Happy go lucky Fairy was no more.
'I was afraid of that. She's now the head Dark Signer and the new vessal for the Great Lethian' Atem said.
