Yugi rolled over in bed to face Atem and glared. 'I was being sarcastic.' He replied. 'Mou Hitori no Boku, I wonder what the rest of the Squad would say to the video of you crashing Anzu's laptop.

'Give it a rest Yugi. Almost everyone knows about that' Atem growled.

Yugi grinned. 'Not Mahado or Mana...' He said lightly.

'Don't forget about Ashleigh' Atem added.

'You do realize that you're authorizing me to blackmail you, right?' Yugi asked.

Atem nodded and a screen appeared showing both mother and daughter fighting it out.
"You have to come to your sences mum" Yana cried. "I am in my sences" Dark Ashleigh yelled back. |
'How's it looking down there, Aka?' Selena asked.

'Well, it's not looking that good. Yana isn';t using her full power. She needs you down there to support her' Aka replied.
'Yana, sweety, ypu have to use your full power that your first fairy form has. Don't worry about me. Believe in youself and everything will be fine' the voice rang though her head, 'And remember, it's still night so you are much stonger.' Stronger in the night. Night is my fieldpoint advantage! Yana thought and aimed at Dark Ashleigh. "Starry Night BLAST!" and Dark Ashleigh fell to the ground. 'The more you believe in yourself, the more power you draw. Remember that.' the voice continued. "Right. Meator Shower Blast!" 'And you better hurry Selena" Aka added. 'Looks like Yana is handling it quite well' Atem said, 'But do you think that Yana's ready for...well...fairy training?' |
'On my way,' Selena replied, making a beeline for the courtyard.
*** 'Honestly? I've got no idea. That'd be something for Ashleigh to judge, as she's the fairy, not me. Yugi replied. |
Atem donked Yugi in the head.
'Are you or are you not a magican?' he asked. |
'Ouch!' Yugi rubbed his head from the whack.

'Fairy or not, you have to take part in this decision' Atem said.

'Tell me something I don't already know,' Yugi replied. But I can tell her training's going to take a different path. She's a fairy because of her mother, but she's also got mage powers because of me.

'No. What I learnt from Ashleigh is this. A fairy will always be a fairy no matter what. If she wasn't, then she would be a mage. You have to make a final desicion that is not only based on your plus Ashleigh's views, but on what Yana wants to do. Either way, fairy training is really important for her and if she wants to do part time or correspondance, it's because she wants to be here. If she wants to board, she can. It's what she chooses that counts' Atem said. What was unsual about what he said, is how he said it. It was like that he was giving advice from one Dad to another but could this mean that Atem was a father too? Did he had a sister which he married and bore the next king?
"Had enough?" Yana asked an now very weak Half Dark Signer. Dark Ashliegh struggled to get on her feet, and succeeded doing so. "No, and I got just enough power to make one more attack and seal your soul away forever. Great Beast Attack!" but Yana dodge the blast and attacked Dark Ashleigh once more. Then, she landed, deforemed back to her warrior digsuise and quickly catched Ashleigh who was smiling. Aka came out of the shadow, her hands clenched together (which was near her chest), eyes closed and she opened her mouth. Before love, my deep feelings were born within the seven seas. They returned to Max who was pissed that her plan to control the fairies around the area has failed. All marks on her was gone and her outfit shone a brillant white. She opened her brown eyes to Yana, Melhana (who got called out because of the good news), Mahad (for the same reason), Yusei, Judai (who both felt they have to tag along) and Yugi (even though he wasn't fully healed, peastered Max until she let him go and see her. Atem on the other hand, had no choice but to go). Aka who was now back where she belongs, was in her normal spirit form. Ashleigh was wearing her angel outfit of a white dress with a golden sash around her waist and on her head was a golden hairband. Aka knew that the Powersong of Purication has worked and Ashleigh was back to normal. No dark power was left since the song of the seven seas purifuied her inside and out. She stayed silent but smiled happliy. |
Melhana patted Yugi on the back. "Looks like she's back to normal," she said. Yugi nodded.
"Okay, guys; give the woman some room to breathe." Max said. "Yugi, Yusei, get back to your rooms; we don't need either of you dropping to the floor in a dead faint." "I already told you, I'm fine." Yusei replied. His arm was in a sling from the shot in his shoulder. "No, you're not. And neither are you Yugi, so don't even try arguing. I can tell how pale the both of you are." Max said sternly. "Now all of you, out!" "I'm not leaving," Yugi said stubbornly. "I want to make sure Ashleigh's all right." Max sighed. "Okay, but the rest of you get out!" |
"I'm staying too" Yana demanded.
"Um, can you also please leave Max?" Ashleigh asked, shocking everybody, including Max. |
Max nodded. "Of course," she replied. "And I'm not going to even try to keep you from staying, Yana, if you're as stubborn as your father."
"Hey!" Yugi protested. Melhana gave him a laughing smile as she left. "She's got a point there, Yugi." she said. Yugi only glared. |
Yana did a friendly blast at Melhana.
"Actucally, Max is right but, I'm not that stubborn than Uncle Atem" she giggled. 'HEY! And when did I become an uncle?" Atem cried. |
Yugi grinned. 'Simple; when Yana was born.' Yugi replied.
"Hey, Yugi, what's so funny?" Melhana asked. "Oh, nothing." Yugi replied. "Just Atem's wondering when he turned into an uncle." Melhana laughed. "Aw, Uncle Atem! How cute! Looks like you're officially a Mutou!" She teased, casting a grinning eye at said pharaoh. |
'Actually....you are part of the family and we been over this' Yugi sighed.
"Um, dad, can I ask you a question?" Yana said. "Sure." "How long have you been seeing Duel Monster Spirits?" |
Yugi blinked. "How long? Since I solved the Millenium Puzzle, I guess..."

"What I heard from Melissa (who was organising her army again) is that the ability existed when a person is born if they are connected with the past or something" Ashleigh explained.
"There is a reason I asked that...." Yana trailed off. |
"What's that?" Yugi asked.
