Selena sat down at the piano and arranged the music sheet. "You two ready?" She asked.

Ashleigh nodded and looked outside the window.
I wonder how long until they click that Selena and myself are gone? she thought. |
Selena started in on the piano, filling the room with music. She kept her eyes on the music as Ashleigh started singing.

Meanwhile, Aki was searching the HQ for her own interest. She had no interest of what the federation. Her head turned when she heard music and her eyes turned coloured. She followed the sound of the music and the voice.

Ashleigh was about to sing the next two lines when she spotted Aki.
'Um, Selena, who is that girl?' she asked. |
Selena stopped abruptly, earning a quizzical look from Kasanagi. 'Akiza Izayoi,' She replied. 'She's a Signer like Yusei and Jack.'

'Never heard of her' Ashleigh replied.
"Um...hi" Aki said, "What is this place and who's she?" Aka was refuring to Ashleigh. 'Whatever you do, DON'T say my last name' Ashleigh hissed. |

Selena nodded. "Kamikaze Sakura is who I am, but you already knew that." she said. "This young woman is Ashleigh. As for where we are, I've got no clue." |
"In a paraell world wich minutes in our own time which can pass hours in this world" Ashleigh replied, "How you go here only you know."

As Ashleigh was speaking, Selena studied Akiza's aura. She's icy cold. She thought. She's been alone for most of her life, because she's a powerful psychic like me. And probably thinks she's the only one who knows that pain. Selena closed her eyes with a slight smile. I know that feeling too well. But the question is, will someone step up to melt her heart of ice like what the gang did for me?

Aka noticed Selena looking at Aki carefully.
'What are you doing?' she asked. |
'I'm looking back in time,' Selena replied. 'Was I really that cold? Akiza's aura is like black ice. If there's one emotion that describes her, it's hatred.'

'Ah, thats what you are letting your eyes see what they see. I can see that there is warmth in there for a special person' Aka replied.

Selena was silent for a few moments, as she studied the girl's aura. 'I see what you mean. But it seems she's afraid to open up.'
Just like I was all those years ago... Selena thought. Her eyes went out of focus as she let her mind wander again. "Get the fucking hell away from me!" A teenage Selena shouted. She was in a Domino High uniform, with one difference; she was wearing trousers instead of the required skirt. She'd become a foreign-exchange student at Domino a few months ago, and now the semester was coming to an end. By now she'd gotten good enough in Japanese to understand enough of the language to get along well enough, but it was fragmented. She opened her eyes and wove her hands into her dark brown hair. The boy who had just tried to talk to her recoiled, but didn't back away completely. I can't let myself become close to anyone. I'll be hurt again if I do. She felt the scar on the back of her head. I'll end up with someone else attempting to kill me. "Kuro-san, please." The spiky-haired boy said. "I--well..." He faultered, and held out a hand. Selena was caught off-guard. "I want to be your friend. So does the rest of the gang." Selena blinked. She led her hands fall. "The rest of the gang?" she asked tenatively. Yugi nodded. Then someone else; "Course! You're always sitting in the back of class being emo." The speaker was a blonde, and he was standing next to a brunette girl with short hair and another boy with brown hair and green eyes. Selena had seen those three and Yugi hanging out so many times. Friendship; one thing that she had never known and never would. "Who're you?" Selena asked coldly. "Katsuya Jonouchi." The blonde said cockily. "And these two are Hiroto Honda--" "Anzu Mazaki." The girl said. "Ignore Jonouchi; he's an idiot." "Hey!" Jonouchi protested. He didn't get that far. "So, what do you say Kuro-san?" Yugi asked, his hand still outstretched. "I hate to tell you this, but I don't see you as a freak, and neither does anyone else. Open your heart, just once." Selena looked up at these four people. Her eyes became wet, followed by a sniffle, then a sniff, then tears were falling down her face. What the hell am I doing? She thought. I'm not supposed to have emotions! She felt someone place a gentle hand on her shoulder. It was Anzu. Selena looked up, her face and sleeve wet from crying. Anzu, Honda, Jonouchi, and Honda were all on the bench next to her. "You okay?" She asked. Selena, still crying, nodded. "This is just the first time I've had friends." she looked at the other four. She sniffed. Loudly. "Selena Kuro," she said as an introduction. |
A violet haired, purple eyed girl covered Yugi's eyes.
'Guess who?" Her hair was done in a plat and was wearing a light pink hairband. "Yukai, get off" Yugi yelled, making everyone laugh, including Selena. "No, it's the boogie man" the girl replied getting off, which made Anzu go into deep thought. "I'm sorry but I forgot to tell you this. This is my Twin sister Yukai. Unfortunaly, her hair colour is the exact same colour as Miho" Yugi said apolojectaly. "I'm in class C, next door to you. Nice to meet you" Yukai bowed. "What a joke Miho, go and get changed" Jonouchi replied but that earned him a punch in the stomich by Yukai. "Miho won't do that Jono" she replied. Honda was about to say something but kept his mouth shut. "And you are?" |
Selena smiled. It was an alien expression to her, so it looked awkward. "Selena Kuro, Yukai-chan." She said. She then looked around at her new friends.
I'm not alone anymore, She thought, and started crying again. "Again with the waterworks," Jonouchi groaned, which was quickly followed by a yelp as Selena stomped his foot with her heel. Selena smiled slightly as she remembered that day. She'd been crying like a baby for the rest of the day, which had gotten many jokes out of Jonouchi. And for ever joke, Selena had had a new bruise in store for him. Maybe that's why the Demon Eye's curse hasn't killed me, She thought. Everyone else who was born with it had been hated by everyone, but there was not only one, but five people willing to get to know me and melt my heart of ice. |
"Did you enjoy the Pro Wresling that the class put on for the School Festival?" Yukai asked. The 3 murmmured, Anzu still thinking about the mysterious man who saved her twice already in the past two weeks.
"We were orginaly going to do charm bracelettes, you know, for good luck but we changed our minds" Yukai replied. "Sakura? You ok?" Ashleigh asked. |
"I'm fine." Selena replied. "I was just remembering something."

Ashleigh nodded.
"Now what?" she asked. |
'I'll tell you later. We have guests, and they don't know my identity. And I'm still wondering how you figured out who I am.' Selena linked.
