"Does anyone know when the tornament is?" she asked. |
"Next week." Judai replied. With a bit of help from Kuriboh, he'd managed to extracate the two wrestling felines.
"I'm going to be entering myself." Melhana said. "And if I'm mistaken, so is Selena." "In a way." Selena typed cryptically. What she didn't tell was that she was entering as a Turbo Duelist, under her old dueling alias: Kamikaze Sakura. |
"Then Ashleigh HAS to recover by then. Is she doing anything in it?" Amanda asked.

"Yeah, she's singing." Yugi replied. "Why?"

"When is she singing?" she asked.

"She hasn't told me." Yugi sighed. "She said she was intending for it to be a suprise."
"Hasn't told me neither." Melhana added. |
"She has to recover. We need her there at all costs" Amanda said. Ashleigh's eyes began to flutter.

"You ok?" Yugi asked Ashleigh.
"Why does Ashleigh have to recover?" Melhana asked. |
"I know that when she preforms, they will draw them to it. We will work out something coming towards the time" Amanda replied, "but its best for her not to speak for the moment or to leave the building" she added.

"Right," Melhana replied.

Ashleigh looked at Yugi.

Yugi kissed Ashleigh on her forehead. "It'll be fine, don't worry," He said quietly.
Selena typed something out on her phone keyboard. "Yugi, we should have her throat checked out just to make sure she can sing for the tournament." the message said. |
'Selena's got a good point there' Atem agreed, 'Best to be safe than sorry.'

'Yeah,' Yugi replied. 'I'm not the best with medical spells though, even if they're only for checking....'
"Are you ok?" Melhana asked. "Melhana, how good are you with medical spells?" Yugi asked. "Not the best, but good enough. Why?" Melhana asked. "Can you check out Ashleigh's throat, to make sure there's nothing wrong?" Yugi replied. Melhana nodded. "Should be easy enough," She answered. She placed her hand on Ashleigh's throat and concentrated, her eyes slipping out of focus. A few minutes later, she took her hand away. "No harm done, just really raw." She replied. "In other words her vocal chords are fine," Selena typed. Melhana nodded. "Yep." |
"But untill next week, she can't talk" Amanda said, "she has to do what Selena's doing, writing out her responces."

Yugi sighed inwardly with relief. Though at the moment Ashleigh had a look on her face that said "What a pain."
"You'll get used to it, trust me." Selena typed. |
Ashleigh found a pen and paper.
What if I can't sing anymore? What if I can't speak? she wrote down. |
"I already told you, the only thing that's wrong with your throat is that it's raw." Melhana replied. "Your vocal chords are intact and perfectly fine."

Then what happened? I mean, how did my double got killed? Ashleigh wrote down.

"She was probably sacrificed. Isn't that what the leader wanted in the first place; to sacrifice you to get your power?" Selena typed.
"Well now that he's realized that was a fake he killed he's bound to be pissed." Melhana said. She pushed her glasses up on her nose, reflecting the light so it blocked the others from seeing her eyes. "And if that's the case, then we'll have to be on out guard." "There's another problem." Aoi said. "Dealing with the tournament; what do you think are the chances that Yusei will be competing?" "Extremely likely," Jack replied. "This is Yusei we're talking about; he's one of the best duelists in the world. He'd been invited directly to the World Championship, and accepted." "Great, so we're going to be dealing with figuring out how to beat one of the best." Melhana said. "This is going to be a bitch." |
Well, for one thing, we can make see how they changed Yusei on the outside. I know for sure that Kaiba's double will take over the Real Kaiba's work. And plus see many of the followers there. Kaiba made sure one rule was in place. All competitors must NOT use any means of magic Ashleigh wrote down.

"Ok, that's irony." Bakura said. Everyone looked around, surprised. He'd been quiet for so long that they'd forgotten he was there. "Last time I checked Kaiba didn't believe in magic."
"He does. He just doesn't want to admit it." Yugi replied as he helped Ashleigh up. "Believe me. After all, he's activated his aura on several occasions. Unintenionally though." |
"So, we need to think of a way to cloak Ashleigh's aura while she's there" Amanda said, "Any ideas?"

"We've got plenty of mages and psychics here." Melhana said. "We can all take turns masking her aura. Aura masking is a fairly simple series of spells, but weaving them all is time-consuming."
"Or we could each cast one of the required spells." Bakura added. "One thing that Melhana's dad taught me when he was teaching me was that once someone learns the signature of a person's magic, it makes it that easier to get through that person's spells." "So what you're saying is that we should all pool our skills." Selena typed. "Precisely." Bakura replied. |
But how is that going to happen? Ashleigh wrote down, The tornament lasts the whole week, including the Jr. Tornament, the main tornament AND all the preformances.
